Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce an electronic Student Worksheet (e-LKPD) with Flip PDF Professional based on the Constructivism Approach on Respiration System Materials for Class XI SMA. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UNRI and at the zoom meeting platform for SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students from June to September 2021. This type of research used the ADDIE model. The instruments used are validation sheets and response questionnaires. The results of the validation of the electronic LKPD with Flip PDF Professional based on the Constructivism Approach in Class XI High School Respiration System Materials show that the electronic LKPD that has been developed is in the very valid category with an overall average score of 3.86. The results of the first stage of the trial obtained an average score of 3.48 and the results of the second stage of the trial obtained an average score of 3.49 in the very good category. Based on the results of the analysis of students' answers to the electronic LKPD from the constructivism stage, namely idea generation, idea structure, idea application and reflection, an average score of 3.75 was obtained. The results showed that the well-developed electronic worksheets were suitable to be used as a reference for learning in schools as well as independent learning resources to increase students' knowledge and understanding of the respiratory system material in facilitating students to build their own knowledge.Key Words: Electronic Student Worksheet, Constructivism Approach, Respiratory System.

Abstract

Abstrak: One of the learning that can improve student learning outcomes in learning biology is through cooperative learning of Jigsaw. The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes VII grade science students SMPS Islam Al-Asma Safari Bagan Siapiapi Academic Year 2015/2016. The research was conducted in classes VII SMPS Islam Al-Asma Safari Siapiapi chart of the month from March to April in Academic Year 2015/2016. The research subject is class VII are 25 people consisting of 17 women and 8 men. This research is a classroom action research study parameters are student learning outcomes absorption, mastery learning, and group awards. The instrument used in this study is the syllabus, lesson plans, and Student Assignment Sheet (LTS) data collection instruments, namely postal sheet test, and UH. From the research results can be known absorption in the first cycle was 69.15% (or less), increase the second cycle into 82.52% (excellent). Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 36% (category complete) and the second cycle increased to 96% (category complete). It can be concluded the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw can improve learning outcomes VII grade science students SMPS Islam Al-Asma Safari Bagan Siapiapi Academic Year 2015/2016.Key words: cooperative type jigsaw , study results

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of validity of students' worksheets (LKPD) based on contextual materials on environmental pollution to empower the creative thinking abilities of Class VII SMP. This research was conducted in two places, namely validation by the validator carried out in the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau and a limited trial was carried out at SMPN 6 Bangko Pusako in May-October 2019. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model conducted to the development stage (development). There are 4 LKPD developed. Data collection instruments in this study were LKPD validation sheets, and questionnaire respondents. After LKPD is developed, it is then validated by 5 validators. After that, the first trial was conducted on 15 biology education students from the Teaching and Education Faculty of Riau University, and the second trial was conducted on 20 Class VII students at SMPN 6 Bangko Pusako. Contextual-based class VII student worksheets (LKPD) have been successfully developed with a very valid category.Key Words : Development, LKPD, Contextual, Creative Thinking Ability.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to develop the Student Worksheet development in digestion system content for grade VIII junior high school with scientific approach. The research was done at Faculty of Education, University of Riau in September until November 2015. The study refers to research approaches Research and Development using ADDIE models developed by Dick and Carry. Research carried out until the stage of development. The subjects is KD 3.6 junior high school grade VIII in digestion system content . Population and samples for limited trial randomly determine that the class VIII BK in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru as many as 25 students. Result of the validation of the design, pedagogical and content aspects showed all student worksheets obtain an average score 3.64, 3.63, 3.62, 3.53, and 3.60 categorized as very valid while the student response from the aspect of design and content showed all student worksheet obtain an average score 3.58, 3.58, 3.57, 3.87, and 3.50 with the excellent category.Keywords: Development, Student Worksheet, Scientific Approach.2

Abstract

Abstract: This development aims to produce a Powtoon-Based Learning Animation Video on Respiration System Material for Class XI SMA. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program FKIP Riau University, SMA Negeri Plus Provinsi Riau and SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru from June to November 2021. The subject of this research was KD 3.4 material for the XI high school respiratory system. The type of research used is the ADDIE Research and Development model. The instruments used are validation and response questionnaires. The validation sheet consists of 4 aspects, namely the display aspect, the program aspect, the pedagogic aspect and the content aspect. The average validation result for animated video based on Powtoon based on these four aspects is 3.79 with a very valid category. The four aspects include display aspects with an average of 3.70, program aspects with an average of 3.85, pedagogic aspects with an average of 3.90 and content aspects with an average of 3.72. The results of the limited trial phase 1 obtained an average score of 3.76 in the very good category. While the results of the limited trial phase 2 obtained an average score of 3.80 in the very good category. The results showed that the animation video based on Powtoon on the respiratory system material for class XI Senior High School is of high quality and suitable to be used as a learning medium.Key Words: Learning Animation Video, Powtoon, Respiratory System.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the level of suitability coverage of materials and components of material presentation Plant Classification in Biology textbook of Senior High School 10th Grade with Curriculum 2013 based on standard of BSNP. This research is a descriptive research with content analysis design. The content analysis in this study aims to describe the level of suitability coverage of materials Plant Classification from aspects coverage of material; consists of the breadth of material and the depth of material, and of the component of material presentation; consists of aspects techniques of material presentation, aspects supporting of material presentation, and aspects of learning presentation. Sampling of Biology textbook is conducted with purposive sampling technique, which should contain the concept of plant classification and written based on Curriculum 2013. The instruments used in this research were adopted from the BSNP assessment instruments in evaluating a textbook, by modifying and describing instrument descriptions according to the research objectives. The data collection technique in this study is documentary study. Plant Classification material contained in the Biology Textbook is then analyzed by researchers by analyzing each text, image, and table. The obtained data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed the percentage suitability of the scope of the Plant Classification material in the book A was 93.59% and book B was 81.13%. While the presentation component of Plant Classification material in the book A is 92.5% and book B is 93.75%. Based on the results it can be concluded that the level of suitability of the scope of the Plant Classification material in the book A is very suitable and book B is suitable. The component of presentation of Plant Classification material in the book A and book B are very good.Key Words: Plant Classification, Coverage of Materials, Components of Material Presentation

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a written test instrument based on scientific approach of the topic motion system on 11th grade in senior high school in October 2019-January 2020. The research was conducted in two places, for validation and phase I limited trials conducted at Biology Education Campus FKIP UNRI and the test phase II limited trials were conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This type of research refers to the R&D research approach using the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry. The subject of this research is the subject matter of Biology on 11th grade in senior high school KD 3.5. The written test instrument developed consisted of 5 meetings with an allocation of 15 minutes for posttest work and 2x45 minutes (2 JP) for daily test questions. The parameters of this study include the results of the validation of the development of a written test instrument by the validator and the response of the limited phase I and phase II trial evaluations. The assessment is done using a validation sheet and a questionnaire. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate the written test instruments that have been developed are in the category of very valid with an average score of all aspects of 3.41, the value of the results of the limited trial phase I on all aspects obtained an average score of 3.35 and stage II 3.33 with very good categories . The results of theanalysis of the whole items of the test instrument from posttest 1 to daily tests in phase I trials obtained a reliability index of 0.837 to 0.939 in the very high category, a difficulty level index of 0.143 to 0.857, a difficult to easy category, a distinguishing power index at intervals of 0.40-1, 00 categories of questions are well received, and the percentage of effective deceiters is 70% -100%. While the results of the analysis of the whole item test instruments from posttest 1 to daily tests in phaseII trials obtained a reliability index of 0.685–0.923 categories of high to very high, difficulty index index of 0.138–0.758 categories of difficult to easy, distinctive power index at intervals of 0.40 -1.00 question categories were well received, and the percentage of deceiters was effective at 100%. Based on the results of the validation, the results of the limited trial phase I, the limited trial results phase II, and the revisions that have been made, this written test instrument is good and feasibleto be used as an evaluation tool in learning based on the scientific approach at school to hone and assess problem solving skills by students.KeyWords: Written Test Instrument, Scientific Approach, Motion System

Abstract

Abstract: The use of guided inquiry model of making the learning module can help direct students to find their own concepts they are learning so that students can associate the material they are learning. The purpose of this study was to develop a learning module oriented guided inquiry model of the material circulation system of class XI in improving students' critical thinking skills. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education Studies Program Faculty of Teaching and Education University of Riau and SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in February 2015 - May 2016. The research is a research development by using ADDIE model of integration to the stage of development. Instruments of data collection in this study is the assessment sheet / validation module, student questionnaire responses and critical thinking skills assessment sheet. Once the module is developed, validated by 4 validator then the tests I at 12 4th semester students of biology education FKIP UR and II trials in 20 students in Class XI SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The tests for aspects of the content presented, language, presentation and kegrafisan module obtained an average score 4.20 (valid). Aspects of the content presented is obtained an average score 4.28 (very valid), aspects of language obtained a score 4.07 (valid), then to obtain a grain aspect score 4.16 (valid) and aspects of kegrafisan obtain an average score 4.30 (very valid). In the student questionnaire responses in the experiment I belong to the category module SB (Very Good), while the second test the response of 20 students of the modules developed is 84% in one study and 82% in the second study with either category. As for the average results of analysis of students' answers on the learning modules acquire 82% considered good value. Based on the results of data analysis can be seen that the module-oriented model of guided inquiry learning to enhance students' critical thinking skills in class XI material circulation system that has been developed can already be used with a valid category..Key words: Development, Module, Guided Inquiry, Critical thinking, System Circulation

Abstract

Has been studied to determine the ability of creative thinking and mastery of the concept of students in learning biology class XI SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Research was conducted in January to March 2011 with sample student is 1 and XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This research is an experiment with a class XI IPA 1 as a classroom experiment and XI IPA 2 as the control class. The parameters used in the study of creative thinking skills and mastery of the concept of students. The result of creative thinking skills can be seen from the tests given to students in grade experiment that is equal to 69.40 with less category, while the control class at 56.60 with less category. The result of student’s mastery of concepts can also be seen from the tests given to students in grade experiment that is equal to 80.08 with a high category, while the control class at 68.29 to the medium category. Student learning outcomes can also be seen from the experimental class at 74.74 and 62.45 for the control class. Based on research that has been done, the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in teaching biology showed better results in terms of creative thinking skills, mastery of concepts and student’s class XI IPA SMAN 2 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2010/2011.Keywords: Creative Thinking, Concept Mastery, Problem Based Learning (PBL)

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activity and student learning outcomes through the implementation of cooperative learning model by giving answer to the question and getting the class X2 Benai SMA N 1 academic year 2011/2012. This research is a class action, which was conducted in January-February 2012. Subjects were high school students X2 N 1 Benai class numbering 36 people, consisting of 16 men and 20 women. Parameter studies are student activities and learning outcomes which consists of studying the absorption and completeness. Average student activity on the cycle I is 74.87% (enough) and increased in the second cycle is 81.28% (good). Average absorption of students in the cycle I is 78.94 (enough) and the second cycle which had an average of 80.42 (good). Thoroughness of student learning in the cycle I was 91.67% (excellent) and 97.22% (excellent) on the second cycle. I cycle a group award in any super group 4 and 3 great group and the second cycle of all groups received a great award. From the research results can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning models by giving a strategy question and getting answer can increase the activity and students' high school class X2 N 1 Benai in the academic year 2011/2012.Keywords: Activities, Cooperative learning, Learning outcomes, The strategy giving question and getting answer.
