Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, mengetahui Pengaruh Pelatihan SKJ 2008 Terhadap VO2 maks Ditinjau Dari Kemampuan Awal Siswa.Rancangan penelitian menggunakan posttest only control group design.Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa,(1)Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh VO2 maks yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan SKJ 2008 dengan siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan konvensional,(2)Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan SKJ 2008 dan kemampuan awal siswa,(3) Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi terdapat perbedaan VO2 maks yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan SKJ 2008 dengan siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan konvensional, dan kelompok berkemampuan awal rendah yang mengikuti pelatihan konvensional lebih baik VO2 maksnya dibandingkan dengan yang sudah mengikuti pelatihan SKJ 2008 Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan SKJ 2008 berpengaruh terhadap VO2 maks ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa.   Kata kunci: Pelatihan SKJ 2008, VO2 maks, kemampuan awal     ABSTRACT This study aims to know the effect of SKJ 2008 training towards VO2max viewed from initial ability.The design of the study uses posttest only control group design,The data was analyzed using ANAVA two lines and followed by Tukey test.The results of data analysis showed that,(1)There was a difference in the influence of VO2max which is significant between students who joined SKJ 2008 training with students who joined conventional training.(2)There was an interaction effect between students who joined SKJ 2008 training and the students’ initial ability,(3)There was significant difference of VO2max between students who joined SKJ 2008 training with students who joined conventional training and VO2max for the students who had lower initial ability and joined conventional training better than the students who joined SKJ 2008 training.Based on the data analysis and discussion,it can be concluded that SKJ 2008 training affect theVO2max viewed from the initial ability of 1st grade students.   Keywords: SKJ 2008 Training,Maximal Oxygen Volume, viewed from initial ability

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh: (1) gambaran atau deskripsi tentang kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar sebagai Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari konteks, (2). gambaran atau deskripsi tentang kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar sebagai Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari input,(3) gambaran atau deskripsi tentang kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar sebagai Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari proses, dan (4) gambaran atau deskripsi tentang kendala yang dihadapi dalam mempersiapkan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar sebagai Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian evaluatif dengan mengadopsi model evaluasi CIPP. Variabel konteks,inpu dan proses diukur dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner sekala Likert. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 guru , 1 kepala sekolah, 3 pegawai tata usaha, 4 komite sekolah, dan 132 orang tua siswa pada SD Negeri 2 Gianyar yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposif. Data yang berupa skor variabel konteks, input, dan proses selanjutnya dianalisis dengan jalan mengubah skor tersebut ke skor-T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari konteks sebesar 58,13 yang berarti bahwa SD Negeri 2 Gianyar siap menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari konteks, (2) Kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari input sebesar 56,46 yang berarti bahwa SD Negeri 2 Gianyar siap menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari input,(3) Kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari proses sebesar 42,29 yang berarti bahwa SD Negeri 2 Gianyar kurang siap menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari proses, (4) Kendala yang dihadapi dalam mempersiapkan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar sebagai Rintian Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional adalah bahwa pengembangan sekolah yang telah ada menjadi RSBI belum dimaksmalkan dengan beragam terutama strategi proses. Setelah diinterpretasikan dalam kriteria kesiapan kuadran Glickman, Kesiapan SD Negeri 2 Gianyar termasuk dalam kuadran siap dengan beragam kekurangan dalam variabel proses. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa SD Negeri 2 Gianyar siap menjadi Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ditinjau dari segi proses.   Kata kunci:  Studi Evaluasi, Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional, Konteks, Input, dan Proses.         Abstract   This study aimed at finding out (1) description of the SD Negeri 2 Gianyar readiness to be Precursor of International Standard School from context point of view, (2) description of the SD Negeri 2 Gianyar readiness to be Precursor of International Standard School from input point of view, (3) description of the SD Negeri 2 Gianyar readiness to be Precursor of International Standard School from process point of view, (4) description of obstacles encountered in preparing SD 2 Gianyar to be Precursor of International Standard School. This study belonged to an evaluative research that adopted the CIPP evaluation model. The context variable was measured by an instrument in the form of context variable questionnaire, the input variable by an instrument in the form of input variable questionnaire, and the process variable by process variable questionnaire. The sample consisted of 12 teachers,1 headmaster, 3 administration officers, 4 school committees, and 132 students parents in SD 2 Gianyar derived purposive sampling technique. The data in the form of scores related to the context, input and process variables were analyzed by converting them into t-scores. The result showed that (1) the readiness level of SD 2 Gianyar to be Precursor of International Standard School was 58,13.It showed that SD 2 Gianyar was ready to be the Precursor of International Standard School from context point of view, (2) the readiness level of SD 2 Gianyar to be Precursor of International Standard School was 56,46.It showed that SD 2 Gianyar was ready to be the Precursor of International Standard School from input point of view,(3) the readiness level of SD 2 Gianyar to be Precursor of International Standard School was 42,29.It showed that SD 2 Gianyar was ready to be the Precursor of International Standard School from process point of view, (4) The main obstacle encountered in preparing SD 2 Gianyar to be precursor of International Standard School is that the existed shool development system to be Precursor of International Standard School has not maximized by the implementation of various strategies especially process strategies yet. Having been interpreted into Glickman’s Quadrant readiness level criteria, It found that readiness level of SD 2 Gianyar was in ready quadrant with various obstacle in process variable. Thus, it could be concluded that SD Negeri 2 Gianyar was less ready to be Precursor of International Standard School from the proses points of view.   Keywords:   Evaluation Study, Precursor of International Standard School, Context, Input, and Process.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, (2) pengaruh interaksi antara strategi  pembelajaran dengan motivasi  belajar  siswa  terhadap prestasi belajar, (3) perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi, dan (4) perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa yang  mempunyai  motivasi belajar rendah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varians dua jalur dengan uji-F. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan prestasi belajar  antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (FA = 5,008 dengan p < 0,05), (2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ( FAB = 36,762 dengan p<0,05); (3) Pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar  antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (t-hitung = 5,870  > t-tabel = 1,960 ), dan (4) Pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (t-hitung = 2,705 > t-tabel = 1,960). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa implemetasi pembelajaran tematik berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar pada siswa kelas IV Gugus Empat Di Kecamatan Gianyar.   Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Tematik, pembelajaran konvensional, Motivasi Belajar, prestasi belajar   Abstract This study aimed to determine (1) the difference between the academic achievement of students who take thematic learning compared to students who take conventional learning, (2) the effect of the interaction between learning strategies with students motivation to learning achievement, (3) differences in academic achievement between students who following thematic learning compared to students who take conventional learning on students who have high motivation to learn, and (4) differences in academic achievement between students who take the thematic learning compared to students who take conventional learning on students with low learning motivation. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance with two lanes F-test. The results show that: (1) there are differences in student achievement between students who take the thematic learning and students who take conventional learning (FA = 5.008 with p <0.05), (2) There is an interaction effect between learning strategies and motivation toward achievement learning (FAB = 36.762 with p <0.05), (3) In the students who have high motivation to learn, there are differences in student achievement between students who take the thematic learning and students who take conventional learning (t-test = 5.870> t-table = 1.960), and (4) At the student who has a low learning motivation, there is a difference in student achievement between students who take the thematic learning and students who take conventional learning (t-test = 2.705> t-table = 1.960). Abstract

  Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis besarnya determinasi secara parsial dan secara bersama-sama kualitas komponen konteks, komponen input, komponen proses, dan komponen produk dengan kualitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran para guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kuta. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah semua guru pada SMP Negeri 2 Kuta yang berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah kluster random sederhana berjumlah 36 orang. Untuk menguji determinasi variabel bebas secara parsial dengan variabel terikat digunakan korelasi parsial dan untuk menguji determinasi variabel bebas secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikat digunakan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat determinasi secara parsial dan secara bersama-sama kualitas komponen konteks, komponen input, komponen proses, dan komponen produk dengan kualitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran para guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kuta.   Kata kunci: konteks, input, proses, produk, dan kualitas pembelajaran     Abstract This study aims to identify and analyze magnitude of partial determination and together quality components contex, input components, process components, and components of the product with the quality of teachers teaching at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta. The design of this study was ex-post facto.population in the study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta, amounting to 40 people. The sampling technique used was simple random cluster numbered 36 people. To test the determination of the independent variables in the partial correlation with the dependent variable used multiple liniar regression. Based on the findings of this study conclude that there is a partial determination and together quality components context, component input, process component, and component of the product with quality teaching practices of teacher in SMP Negeri 2 Kuta   Keywords : context, input, process, product, and quality of learning.

Tesis, Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha.   Tesis ini sudah diperiksa dan disetujui oleh Pembimbing I: Prof. Dr. I Made Candiasa, MI.Kom dan Pembimbing II: Prof. Dr. Nyoman Dantes.   Kata kunci: pengajaran remidial bentuk pengulangan, ketuntasan belajar   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan ketuntasan belajar Matematika melalui implementasi pengajaran remidial bentuk pengulangan pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Batuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan (action research). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan  menggunakan tiga siklus tindakan karena penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memecahkan masalah pembelajaran di kelas. Subjek penelitian  adalah semua siswa kelas V yang ada di SD Negeri 3 Batuan, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 35 orang siswa. Kelas V dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian dengan alasan bahwa siswa kelas V tersebut membutuhkan tindakan sesegera mungkin, karena ketuntasan minimal belajar siswa masih rendah. Data dalam penelitian ini  dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif, yaitu analisis deskriptif. Analisis kuantitatif akan digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai dinamika kemajuan nilai ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam hubungannya dengan penguasaan konsep yang telah diajarkan oleh guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diketahui bahwa ketuntasan belajar Matematika melalui implementasi pengajaran remidial bentuk pengulangan meningkat, yaitu pada siklus I  dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar Matematika mencapai 42,9%, kemudian pada siklus II  dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar Matematika mencapai 91,4%, dan terakhir pada siklus III  dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar Matematika mencapai 100,0%. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pengajaran remidial bentuk pengulangan dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar Matematika siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Batuan.   ABSTRACT Weja, I Wayan. 2013. This research is conducted through three action cycles as it is aimed at solving teaching’s and learning’s problems in the classroom. There are 35 students used as subjects of research which were taken from all the 5th grade students at SD Negeri 3 Batuan. This class was chosen because the students’ learning completeness is still in a low level. The data was analyzed through descriptive quantitative method. The quantitative analysis is applied to give several descriptions about the students’ improvement on their learning completeness regarding to the math concepts taught by their teacher.The research finding shows that the implementations of this remedial teaching format accelerates the students’ improvement significantly during those three cycles; the first cycle reaches 42.9% completeness, the second cycle reaches 91.4% completeness and the third cycle reaches 100.0% completeness. Therefore, based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the remedial teaching in format of repetition is able to improve the Mathematics learning’s completeness of the 5th grade students at SD Negeri 3 Batuan

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed at investigating whether the implementation of guided writing strategy and the students’ achievement motivation gave a significant effect to the students’ writing competency. This was an experimental research which applied 2 x 2 factorial design. The population was 6 classes (134 students) of grade X in SMAN 1 Sukasada in the academic year 2012/2013. The samples were 4 classes which were choosen by using Random Sampling and were divided into two groups, i.e. experimental group and control group. The research data were analyzed by using Statistical Two-Way ANOVA and Tukey Test. The result shows that, first, there was a significant difference on the students’ writing competency between the students who were taught by using guided writing strategy and conventional writing strategy. Second, there was a significant interactional effect on the students’ writing competency between the strategies applied and the students’ achievement motivation. Third, there was a significant difference on the students’ writing competency between the students who had high achievement motivation when they were taught by using guided writing strategy and conventional strategy. Fourth, there was a significant difference between the students’ writing competency of the students who had low achievement motivation when they were taught by using guided writing strategy and conventional strategy.     Keywords: achievement motivation, guided writing strategy, writing competency.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims at investigating any significance difference between the writing achievement of students who were taught by using journal writing technique and those by conventional writing technique and investigating any interactional effect between the implementation of those techniques and the students’ achievement motivation upon students’ writing achievement. This research was a post-test only control group design which was conducted in the fourth semester students of English Education Department, Undiksha. The result shows that there is a significant difference between the writing achievement of the students taught by using journal writing technique and those by conventional writing technique, where the students taught by using journal writing technique shows better writing achievement than the students taught by using conventional writing technique. In addition, there is a significant interactional effect between the implementation of those techniques and the students’ achievement motivation. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed at analyzing and investigating the authenticity of teacher’s made assessment and its contribution to students’ English achievement in Elementary schools in Buleleng regency. The authenticity of teachers’ made assessment was seen in terms of teachers’ assessment planning, assessment implementation as perceived by teachers, teachers’ assessment implementation as perceived by students. This study was also intended in order to know the contribution of those aspects to students’ English achievement. The research design for this study was Exploratory Mix-Method design, involving 33 English teachers. The data were collected through documentation, and questionnaires which were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result of data analysis showed that teachers’ assessment planning, assessment implementation as perceived by teachers and students had sufficient level of authenticity. From statistical analysis, it was found that only teachers’ assessment planning and assessment implementation as perceived by students which had significant contribution to students’ English achievement. However, it was also found that the three aspects were integratedly gave significant contribution to students’ English achievement. In conclusion, it showed how the teachers’ assessments with its level of authenticity gave contribution to the students’ English achievement.   Keywords: teachers’ assessment authenticity, students’ achievement

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh buku bergambar tanpa kata terhadap prestasi menulis bahasa Inggris ditinjau dari tingkat percaya diri siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Selong. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling yang berjumlah 88 orang siswa yang terbagi kedalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan signifikan prestasi menulis bahasa Inggris siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran buku bergambar tanpa kata dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (FA=34,614, p<0,05), (2) terdapat interaksi signifikan antara pembelajaran (buku bergambar tanpa kata dan pembelajaran konvensional) dengan tingkat percaya diri terhadap prestasi menulis siswa (FAB =31,140, p<0,05), (3) untuk siswa yang memiliki percaya diri tinggi, terdapat perbedaan signifikan prestasi menulis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan buku bergambar tanpa kata dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional (Qhitung = 11,46, p<0,05), (4) untuk siswa yang memiliki percaya diri rendah, tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan prestasi menulis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan buku bergambar tanpa kata dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional (Qhitung = 0,303, p > 0,05).   Kata kunci: Buku bergambar tanpa kata, Percaya Diri, Kemampuan Menulis Bahasa Inggris Abstract This study aimed at knowing the effect of wordless picture books on the English writing of the students differing in self-confidence at the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Selong. This study was an experimental research with post-test only control group design. The study used random sampling technique which involved 88 students who were divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected using questionnaire and test. The data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results of the study revealed that (1) there is a significant difference on the English writing of the students between the students taught by using wordless picture book and conventional learning (FA=34.614, p<0.05), (2) there is a significant interaction between teaching by using wordless picture book and conventional with students’ self-confidence level on the English writing of the students (FAB =31.140, p<0.05), (3) for the students with high self-confidence, there is a significant difference on the English writing of the students taught by using wordless picture book and conventional learning (Qobs = 11.46, p<0.05), (4) for the students with low self-confidence, there is no significant difference on the English writing of the students taught by using wordless picture book and conventional learning (Qobs = 0.303, p > 0.05).   Keywords : wordless picture books, self-confidence, English writing achievement

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed at finding out the effect of cooperative learning model upon   reading comprehension of eleven grade students of sma negeri 1 selong differing in reading interest. This study was experimental research used post-test only control group design. This study used random sampling technique involved 84 students who were divided into experimental and control group. Data were collected using questionnaire and test. The data were analyzed two- ways ANOVA and Tukey Test. The result of this research was (1) there was a significant difference between the achievement  of the students  who were taught by cooperative learning model and those who were taught  by using conventional learning model (FA=41,061, p<0,05). (2) There was an interaction between teaching using cooperative learning and conventional model with students’ reading interest upon reading comprehension (FAB=0.946 p<0,05). (3)  for the students with high reading interest, there was a significant difference on the reading comprehension between by using cooperative learning model and conventional learning model (Qhitung=4,119, p<0,05). (4) for the students with low reading interest, there was a significant difference on the reading comprehension between by using cooperative learning model and conventional learning model (Qhitung=2,174, p<0,05).   Keywords : cooperative learning model, reading comprehension, reading interest
