Abstract

Pandemi covid membuat perubahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita. Salah satu dampak dapat terlihat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di dunia pendidikan. Mahasiswa harus menggunakan sistem internet dalam pembelajaran khususnya di pembelajaran matematika. Akan tetapi, terkadang mahasiswa tidak siap untuk menggunakan sistem online untuk belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan minat siswa antara komunikasi sinkron dan asinkron dalam pembelajaran online. Tujuan lain dari penelitian untuk menyelidiki perbedaan antara sinkron dan asinkron di pembelajaran online. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. 40 mahasiswa dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi secara teknik Sinkron lebih disukai tetapi tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan minat mahasiswa antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknik sinkron dan asinkron.

Abstract

Algebraic ability is one of the most important abilities to be developed because it becomes the basis to achieve other mathematical thinking ability. In new normal era, information through social media is the main thing for society, particularly for children of the current generation. This study aims to describe algebraic thinking ability and students' interest in learning through social media-based pictorial puzzles. The method of the research is descriptive quantitative. The samples of this study were 6 students of grade VIII SMP Edu Global School in Cirebon city. This study indicates that algebraic thinking ability and students' interest in learning algebra are still classified as moderate and have not reached the high category, so it needs to be improved in the learning process.

Abstract

The process of observation and interview with one of the teachers of SMP Islamiyah Weru is the background of this research by producing information that found difficulties and self-efficacy of students in solving some of the problems given by the teacher. This study aims to improve the ability of self-efficacy in students. Quantitative method, the type of research uses a quasi-experiment and the design used is nonequivalent control group. Application of the Auditory learning model, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) contributes to improving the ability of self-efficacy with the results obtained namely the difference in the increase in self-efficacy in students whose learning uses the AIR learning model with Expository learning models with the average N-Gain self-efficacy of classroom students Experiment is higher than the control class so it can be concluded that the increase in students' self-efficacy in the experimental class is better than in the control class

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in increasing the ability ofmathematical representation and the acquisition of mathematical problem solvingabilities between students who get learning with a scientific approach based oncontextual problems with students who get expository learning. This type ofresearch is quasi-experimental. The sample was 79 VII grade students who camefrom two classes in one State Junior High School in Lembang Regency. First classgets learning with a scientific approach based on contextual problems and thesecond class gets Expository learning. Both classes posttest mathematical problemsolving abilities. The results showed that (1) there was a difference in the overallacquisition of mathematical problem solving abilities between students whostudied with a scientific approach based on contextual problems and students whoreceived expository learning; (2) there are differences in the acquisition ofmathematical problem solving abilities based on students' initial mathematicalabilities (high, medium, low) (3) there is an influence of interaction between thelearning model and students' initial mathematical abilities on improving students'mathematical problem solving abilities. Abstract

Abstract Understanding of mathematical concepts is the ability to explain or identify information verbally in addition to seeing the relationship between one concept and another. Therefore, information is needed about understanding mathematical concepts in students to avoid mistakes in understanding mathematical concepts. It aims to describe the understanding of students in class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Jamblang on the concept of exponential function material and the reasons for errors in understanding the concept. The research method used is a case study research method with a qualitative approach. The instrument used in the study was the final semester assessment test (PAS) in the description and interview section. Based on the results of the test and interview data analysis, it is concluded that 1) A total of 10 students in class X MIPA 2 have an overview of understanding the concept of exponential function material, namely students experience an error in understanding mathematical concepts in the form of an inability to use appropriate concepts to solve problems. 2) Students experience errors in understanding mathematical concepts in the form of an inability to use appropriate concepts to solve PAS questions on exponential function material, errors in understanding these concepts because students do not understand the questions, do not know the concepts, lack of confidence in answering questions and are lazy to think. Keywords: Analysis, Conceptual Understanding, Exponential Function Abstrak Pemahaman konsep matematika adalah kemampuan menjelaskan atau menidentifikasikan informasi secara verbal disamping melihat keterkaitan antara satu konsep dengan konsep matematika lainnya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan informasi mengenai pemahaman konsep matematika pada peserta didik untuk menghindari kesalahan dalam memahami konsep matematika. Bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran pemahaman peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Jamblang pada konsep materi fungsi eksponensial dan alasan terjadinya kesalahan dalam memahami konsep. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah tes penilaian akhir semester (PAS) pada bagian uraian dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes dan wawancara disimpulkan 1) Sebanyak 10 peserta didik di kelas X MIPA 2 memiliki gambaran tentang pemahaman konsep pada materi fungsi eksponensial yaitu peserta didik mengalami kesalahan pemahaman konsep matematika berupa ketidakmampuan dalam menggunakan konsep yang sesuai untuk menyelesaikan soal. 2) Peserta didik mengalami kesalahan pemahaman konsep matematika berupa ketidakmampuan dalam menggunakan konsep yang sesuai untuk menyelesaikan soal PAS pada materi fungsi eksponensial, kesalahan dalam memahami konsep tersebut dikarenakan peserta didik tidak memahami soal, tidak mengetahui konsep, ketidakpercayaan diri dalam menjawab soal dan malas berfikir. Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' motivation to learn mathematics in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic at MAN 1 Cirebon City in class XI. This type of research is a field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Methods of data collection is done by observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Researchers took high school students at MAN 1 Cirebon City class XI as a sample, data source sample collection was done purposively and snowball to produce a sample that can logically be considered representative of the population and find key informants who have a lot of information. The results of the study stated that the mathematics learning motivation of MAN 1 Cirebon City students during the covid-19 pandemic was in the "moderate" category with the average percentage gain from the observational analysis of learning motivation of 56.25%, while the results of the questionnaire analysis of learning motivation obtained an average percentage by 78.42% so that it is included in the "high" category. Based the results of interviews and questionnaires, can be concluded that students of MAN 1 Cirebon City have high motivation. So, the motivation for learning mathematics at MAN 1 Cirebon City students in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is categorized as "high" from the results of interviews where students meet six indicators of learning motivation.
