Abstract

Literature studies show that the nutrient content in tofu pulp is still high; however the utilization of this waste is still relatively low by the community. Nowadays, tofu dregs is still widely used as an ingredient for animal feed. Some of the reasons why people don't take advantage of tofu waste are consits of the funding, equipment, time and worries related to starting their own business. The aims of this study is to make a pre-designed tofu dregs processing plant into a multipurpose product aggregate such as sausages driven by the tofu business community. The method stage in this research is making a feasible product and process scheme, analyzing tofu solid waste in the form of a paper project and making a household scale sausage production prototype. The results of this study are able to produce a role model for tofu dregs utilization which is more  conomically valuable but still meet the standard and quality of reasonableness. The results of the role model will be disseminated by reaching out to tofu entrepreneur communities to collaborate with each other so that the utilization of tofu with high economic value can be carried out more massively, structurally and systematically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to make an investigation what makes physics difficult. Students from different islands in Indonesia who were taking a preparation course in South Tangerang were taken into account of survey. A yes-no answer questionnaire was prepared in order to get the students perception toward physics. The questionnaire was given to approximately 115 students in the middle of the semester. The students were asked to full fill a questionnaire through what makes introductory physics difficult. We found that factor related to the nature of physics is taking part as the maximum percentage on the reason why physics considered as a difficult subject. But factor related to the courses is taking part as the minimum percentage on the reason why physics considered as a difficult subject. The female and male students mostly agreed that the factor related to the nature of physics and took more than fifty percent. Lack of physics background, lack of previous experience and working only assigned problem have the high percentage as the part of student controlled factor. Physics is cumulative subject and physics required good mathematics both are taking high percentage related to the nature of physics.

Abstract

The demand of drinking water is growing continuously, so that the business prospects are also increasingly promising. This condition becomes a challenge for business doer of drinking water, including CV. Tirta Sasmita. A manual customer data management in CV. Tirta Sasmita causing most of customer data are not well documented, so that it may reduce the number of customers. Customer relationship management (CRM) that consists of human resources, process, and technology is a strategy which can be implemented to improve the customer service to be more effective. This research aims to design a CRM-based application that can be used in marketing control system for business doer of drinking water CV. Tirta Sasmita. This research used qualitative approach method, with descriptive research to arrange a business process flow, and action research to design CRM application using Unified Modelling Language (UML) and interface design. This application was developed using prototype method, in which customer database inside are beneficial to ease the remarketing activity. ‘Add order’ menu in CRM application system is also beneficial in terms of sales trends. There are seven access rights in the application which are based on business process flow of CV. Tirta Sasmita, namely sales counter, field sales, supervisor marketing, manager marketing, finance, surveyor, and legal. This system can be implemented based on process business in CV. Tirta Sasmita.
