Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that often occurs in the elderly and will have an impact on the quality and quantity of life of the elderly, so it needs early treatment. SEFT therapy and taichong point acupressure are complementary therapies that can lower blood pressure in the elderly. The design in this research is descriptive statistics. The sample was taken by purposive sampling and obtained 30 respondents who were divided into 15 respondents each in the SEFT group and the taichong point acupressure group. Data were collected using observation sheets and analyzed univariately. The results of the research in the SEFT group showed that the pre-test systolic blood pressure was 164.00, the diastole was 94.67 and the post-test systolic blood pressure was 149.67, the diastole was 90.00. Whereas in the taichong point acupressure group, the pre-test systolic blood pressure was 153.33, the diastole was 93.33 and the systolic blood pressure post-test was 142.67, the diastole was 88.67. SEFT therapy and taichong point acupressure can be an alternative in reducing blood pressure in the elderly.

Abstract

Chephalgia is grievance that is often felt like discomfort in head, Chephalgia can bother activity and productivity. One of complementary therapy that can reduce Chephalgia is acupressure. This study aims to determine the effect of acupressure by family member on pain level of Chephalgia patient in Padang Panjang conducted february-September 2019. The study is an experimental design and a pretest-posttest with control group design with 116 of samples and it uses simple random sampling. Different levels of pain before and after the administration of acupressure by family members used the Wilcoxon test. Whereas to see the comparison of the intervention group and the control group used to test two different groups used the mann withney test.. Satistic test result get p value = 0.0000 that means there is significant effect between before and after acupressure on intervention group, but there is no significant effect on control group get p value = 0,771. This therapy acupressure is recomended for solving Chephalgia, it means that we can give nursing complementary therapy for minimizingC.

Abstract

Emotional feeling of men who have sex with men (MSM). This study showed the experience on facing the emotional feeling of men who have sex with man (MSM) after diagnosed having HIV with their partners. This study using qualitative approach with descriptive phenomenology design, the number of participant was 20 people, and getting by in depth interview. Secluding from society often done by people who diagnosed having HIV, asking the information about HIV and how to cure it and getting closer to God for healing. Caring the Men who have sex with man with HIV by more emphaty feeling.

Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit dengan angka kematian yang tinggi terutama pada wanita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keefektifan beberapa metode Pendidikan Kesehatan program pencegahan kanker payudara terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan Tindakan remaja tentang SADARI. Metode penelitian dimulai dengan pencarian data menggunakan Science Direct, Taylor & Francis Online (Tandfonline), PubMed, DOAJ dan SAGE dimulai dari tahun 2015-2020 dengan jumlah 1361 artikel. Artikel dicari dengan kata kunci “actions” and “attitudes” and “breast cancer” and  “breast self-examination” and “Health Education” and “knowledge” and “Youth Adolescents” or “ Teenager” and “demonstrations” and “ lectures” and  “seminars” and  “peer education.”. Ditemukan 16 artikel memenuhi kriteria yang dinilai menggunakan the JBI critical appraisal tools. Keseluruhan artikel menyebutkan bahwa beberapa media efektif terhadap sikap, tindakan dan pengetahuan dalam pencegahan kanker payudara terutama pada remaja putri. Penggunaan metode pendidikan kesehatan yang efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan yaitu ceramah dan demonstrasi. Kesimpulan dari telaah artikel ini adalah metode Pendidikan Kesehatan terbukti efektif terhadap pencegahan kanker payudara dalam hal pengetahuan, sikap dan Tindakan  remaja tentang sadari.

Abstract

WHO reported that 30-50% of teenagers pregnance have until 19 year old in the world (2011) .in Indonesia, Teenagers having sex in Bandung, 54%, 51% Jakarta, and Surabaya 47% (JPNN, 2014). Campaign for teenagers condom use not accordance with Indonesian culture. Indonesia is not justified HIV prevention and teen pregnancy with condom use campaign. Phenomenological study method by in-depth interview nurses in the community about the experience of involving parents, teens, and peers to prevent free sex in adolescents. The result is that in order to prevent free sex in adolescents should involve parents, teens, and peers.

Abstract

Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease. Ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain is blocked by a blood clot. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family emotional support and the implementation of Continuity of Care for ischemic stroke patients in RSUP. DR. M. Djamil Padang. This research is a descriptive analytic cross sectional approach, sampling using a non-probability method with consecutive sampling technique, the sample is 123 according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection using a questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha is 0.8> 0.01. Data analysis using chi square test. The test results showed that most of them provided good family emotional support. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship with p <0.05 between family support for the implementation of Continuity of Care. Based on the research, it can be concluded that optimal family emotional support increases the implementation of Continuity of Care and has an impact on improving the quality of life of stroke patients.
