Abstract

Learning is a key activity of the educational process. Researchers conducted observations in class VII-A MTs As-sunniyah Ranuyoso virgin and approximately 80% of the data obtained shows student scores ≤ 70. This study aimed to determine Increased Activity dan Student Result in studying the math the subject is social arithmetic with probing prompting learning model. Type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). The procedure used is the model cycle based on these result, the percentage of student learning in the first cycle of 60,3%, and a second cycle 0f 92,8%. While the result of daily tests of student in the first cycle obtained average value 31,5, while on the second cycle of 79,95. It is proved that the activity and student learning outcomes can be improved with the implementation of probing prompting learning model. For a particular subject, type probing prompting learning model is used to avoid boredom in learning actifity.   Keywords: probing prompting, learning activity, learning outcomes.

Abstract

During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in daring learning. The problem this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on the number pattern material according to Polya during daring learning. This study aims to describe the problem-solving abilities according to Polya during daring learning on number pattern material for class VIII MTs. Hasanuddin Semboro with the subjects studied were 6 out of 23 students. This research method type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the, students tended to be incomplete in writing down known and asked data and students are able to describe number pattern problems using symbols. At the stage, students are able to recall the number pattern problems that have been resolved. At the stage of carrying out, students are able to carry out their plans and check for the previous steps to have been carried out. At the re-checking stage, some students are able to re-examine and steps that have been carried out.   Keywords: problem solving, number pattern, online learning

Abstract

During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in online learning. The problem in this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on number material during online learning. This study aims to identify the difficulties of seventh grade students of SMP Nurul Chotib Wringinagung in learning mathematics on numbers. The type and approach in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study were tests, interviews and questionnaires, while data processing used the percentage formula P = × 100%. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the difficulty of grade VII students of SMP Nurul Chotib Wringinagung in number material was the lack of understanding of students in solving problem solving problems, often incorrectly using formulas in solving problems, as well as difficulty distinguishing between planning and implementing plans.   Keywords: difficulties problem solvig, numbers, online learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematical problem solving abilities based on their high, medium and low level of ability in solving the problem. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collecting method that use are observation, test, and interview. The results showed that the problem-solving ability of high-level subjects reached an average of 75%, the problem-solving abilities of medium-level subjects reached an average of 67%, the problem-solving abilities of low-level subjects reached an average of 67%, out of a maximum score of 100. The result of interview, ability level high, medium, and low, students are capable and good even though it does not reach 100%. So, it can be concluded that high, medium, and low level abilities are good for going through the problem solving ability indicator.  Keywords: problem solving, online learning

Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to describe the application of realistic mathematics education based on group investigative learning model for student activities and learning outcomes. The type of the research is classroom action research (CAR). Researchers conducted observations in class X APH SMK Negeri 8 Jember and obtained data on an increase in activity and student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The research design refers to the Hopskins cycle design model. Based on the research results, it was seen that there was an increase in the proportion of student learning activities, namely 51% in cycle I and 60% in cycle II. Meanwhile, for student learning outcomes, the percentage was 16% in cycle I and 78% in cycle II. After comparing between cycle I and cycle II, it can be seen that an increase in learning outcomes is as expected, namely at least 75%. This proves that the activity and student learning outcomes can be increased by the application of a group investigative learning model based on realistic mathematics education. Keywords: group investigation, realistic mathematics education, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the TAI learning model based on PBI. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP An-Nisa Gumukmas. The data collection methods used were interview, observation, test and documentation methods. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the percentage of activity in the first cycle is 56.71% and in the second cycle it is 71.99%, that there appears to be an increase. Then for the average value in cycle I is 68.89 with a percentage of learning outcomes completeness of 55.56% and in cycle II an average value of 78.67 is obtained with a percentage of 92.59%, this shows that there appears to be an increase in activity and student learning outcomes by applying the TAI learning model based on PBI. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the TAI learning model based on PBI can increase student activity and learning outcomes.
