Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pemberdayaan sumber daya sekolah dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 4 Prabumulih Barat Kota Prabumulih. Jenis Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui pengamatan, wawancara dan telaah dokumen yang diperlukan dalam kegiataan penelitian. dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1) strategi pemberdayaan sumber daya sekolah  yang dilakukan yaitu meningkatkan sumber daya manusia terutama guru dan siswa, peningkatan  sarana prasarana sekolah dalam menunjang kemajuan sekolah dan peningkatan mutu sekolah, dan 2) cara alternatif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan guru dengan pendidikan S1, menambah jam mengajar bagi guru yang kurang jam mengajar, menambah sarana prasarana sekolah yang dibutuhkan dengan mengunakan dana BOS maupun dana DAK dan meningkatkan pembangunan pendidikan didaerah pinggiran Kota.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to implement character education of responsibility and discipline on the students of SD Negeri 18 Air Kumbang. This research uses descriptive qualitative research type. Data analysis used is Miles and Huberman analysis and validated by technique and source triangulation method. After doing research, in the implementation of character education discipline and responsibility in SD Negeri 18 Air Kumbang there are 3 aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning is done by entering the character education discipline and responsibility into the curriculum. Integrating the character of discipline and responsibility in a variety of activities one of which is a self-development activities, school culture and subjects in school. Then in the evaluation is done by assessing student attitudes and doing joint evaluation conducted by principals and teachers and parents of students.

Abstract

This study aimed at exploring the implementation of the nations character values in relation to the implementation of inclusive education in SD Negeri 8 Talang Kelapa. Currently the moral crisis occured in various countries and also in Indonesia. It need to strengthen character education to overcome this problem. Education in Indonesia also aimed at shaping the human character of Indonesia to be well manifested with the behavior and attitude of living in accordance with the soul of Pancasila. This nation will progress if its education is able to change the character of the nation that is not good to the noble values of Pancasila. Inclusive education as an education that accommodates students with diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs, and learning together in one class. Inclusive education as an implementation of the nations character values. This research was a qualitative research with case study. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 8 Talang Kelapa Banyuasin. The results showed that inclusion education is able to implement the character values among the prominent ones 1) social care 2) tolerance; 3) independent. Activities in the implementation of character values include learning, habituation, and extra curricular.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) the influence of principal leadership on teachers’ performance; (2) the influenceof compensation on teachers’ performance; and (3) the influenceof principal leadership and compensation simultaneously on teachers’ performance. The data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents and were analyzedby using multiple regression analysis through the t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The population in this study were all teachers of SMP NegeriatBabatSupat sub-district, MusiBanyuasin Regency, totaling 134 people. The sampling technique used was probability sampling by using the Slovin formula to obtain 100 teachers as the research sample. The results of the study found that: (1) there was a significant influence between principal leadership on teachers’ performance; (2) there was a significant influence between compensation on teachers’ performance; (3) there was a significant influence between principal leadership and compensation on teachers performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan Untuk mengetahui faktor yang membuat masyarakat di Kelurahan Pasar Bhayangkara Kecamatan Talang Ubi KabupatenPALI bekerja di sektor informal dan juga untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang bekerja di sektor informal. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan dasar-dasar metode studi kasusdan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif, maka data-data yang diperoleh dalam prosedur penelitian ini merupakan data-data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Wawancara 2). Dokumentasi, dan  3). Observasi Langsung. Teknik Analisis data melalui prosedur dan tahapantahapan berikut: 1. Reduksi Data, 2. Penyajian Data dan 3. Conclusion Drawing/Veriffication. Hasil dari wawancara menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat pekerja sektor informal memiliki pendidikan rendah, itulah yang menjadi penyebab masyarakat bekerja di sektor informal, selain pendidikan juga masalah lingkungan yang kebanyakan bekerja di sektor informal, pendapatan para pekerja sektor informal paling kecil yaitu 200 ribu rupiah perharinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sertifikasi dan motivasi kerja baik secara stimultan maupun secara parsial terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri Gugus 2 Kecamatan Rantau Bayur Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Tehnik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan cara non random sampling yaitu sampel langsung dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen dan diolah secara statistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitaian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel sertifikasi (X1) terhadap variabel (Y) dengan nilai persamaan X1 terhadap Y sama dengan 3,283 2,018; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel X2 terhadap Y dimana nilai persamaan antara X2 terhadap Y sama dengan 4,630 2,018., dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sertifikasi dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja yang dapat hasil uji f secara stimultan menunjukkan nilai persamaan X1, X2 terhadap Y sama dengan 52,329 3,21.

Abstract

This study determined whether there is an effect of principal leadership and teacher competence on teacher’s performance at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Lilin, either partially or simultaneously. The population of this research is 40 teachers. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire, with data analysis using multiple linear regression of SPSS 25. The results obtained in this study 1) there is no influence of principal leadership on teacher’s performance; 2) there is an effect of teacher’s competence on teacher’s performance; and 3) simultaneously there is an effect of principal leadership and teacher’s competence on teacher’s performance. This paper contributes to improve teacher’s performance through principal leadership and teacher’s competence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the function of classroom teacher education management in improving student learning outcomes of SD Negeri in Babat Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research is a qualitative research, with the aim of being able to gain an in-depth understanding and interpretation of the meaning of the phenomena in the field. The function of classroom teacher education management in improving student learning outcomes of SD Negeri in Babat Toman Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency can be said to be good and in accordance with the duties assigned in carrying out the learning process.

Abstract

This study determined the management competence of principals in improving the quality of education in SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive. Sources of data in this study were teachers who assisted in the learning process at SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Data collection techniques in this study include 1) interviews and 2) documentation. The data analysis used in this study were 1) data reduction, 2) display or presentation of data and 3) conclusions and data verification. The results showed that the management competence of the principal in improving the quality of education in Lais District was good. This paper contributes to upgrade the principal’s management competence in order to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of principal leadership and work commitment to the professionalism of primary school teachers. The formulation of the problem in this study, namely (1) how is the influence of the principal leadership on teacher professionalism?, (2) how is the influence of work commitment on teacher professionalism?, (3) how is the influence between principal leadership and teacher work commitment to teacher professionalism. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. This research is looking for systematic empirical data and in this study the researcher can’t directly control the independent variables because the events have occurred and according to their nature can’t be manipulated. This study places the influence of principal leadership and teacher work commitment to the professionalism of primary school teachers in Cokroaminoto cluster, Semidang Aji District, OKU Regency. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the performance of the Cokroaminoto cluster primary school teachers in good category of 65.5%, that’s, the mean or average score is 61.4155 which in 52–63 interval. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the professionalism of teachers in the professional category of teachers in carrying out their duties is 77.5%. However, there are still teachers whose professionalism is in the quite professional category at 12.0% and even there are still teachers who are less professional in carrying out their duties by 2.8%, this is reflected in the indicator that teachers do not master the methods and evaluation of learning outcomes. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the regression equation line Y = 18.668 + 0.260X1 + 0.472X2 is obtained. These results indicate that this positive sign is in accordance with the theory and can be interpreted that the principal leadership and teacher professionalism are good, so the teacher's performance will be good too.
