Students’ blog in PBIG Unilak have been used to promote English skills during these two years. This mixed method study aimed to identify and describes the major problems faced by the students during the implementation of blogging based class. This study based its data from 168 students who attended 5 different classes based-blog. Employing a total sampling technique, the students were invited to fill up online questionnaire and interview. However, only 161 feedbacks can be processed. The analysis in this study reveals there are three major problems in blog-based class, which significantly contributed to an unproductive learning process atmosphere at PBIG Unilak namely: Lack of confidence in posting article and comments in the blog; Lack of IT skills and Cyberbullying.

Kemampuan menerapkan strategi/teknik mengajar yang beragam pada materi ajar yang berbeda berperan penting untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan kelas. Penerapan kegiatan lebih maksimal jika dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan dan terintegrasi dalam kegiatan berbasis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Selain untuk kepentingan penyelesaian masalah belajar, PTK juga sangat bermanfaat untuk pengembangan profesionalisme guru diluar konteks kelas seperti peningkatan jenjang karir dan pemenuhan persyaratan sertifikasi guru. Dengan beberapa pertimbangan diatas, tim ipteks bagi masyarakat (IbM) menawarkan solusi berupa pendampingan PTK dan strategi kegiatan kelas di MTs Negeri Muara Fajar dan SMP IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru. Kegiatan pendampingan secara teoritis telah selesai dilaksanakan dengan hasil yang memuaskan. Hal ini terlihat dari respon dan jumlah peserta (22 orang) yang berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pendampingan tersebut. Selain itu, umpan balik yang diberikan melalui isian angket menunjukkan bahwa guru memang membutuhkan pendampingan PTK dan merasakan manfaat penyampaian materi yang diberikan. Sebagai kesimpulan, Pendampingan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan Strategi Kegiatan Kelas Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Guru. MTs Negeri Muara Fajar Pekanbaru dan SMP IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru telah memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kompetensi akademik dan profesionalisme guru. This research was conducted to offer an alternative teaching strategy on raising vocabulary mastery using the Word Clap Game. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a difference in the results of the Word Clap Game strategy on EYL’s vocabulary mastery of the fifth-grade Narwastu elementary school in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. This quasi experiment research involved 60 students with two classes; The experimental class with 29 students (VB class) and the control class with 31 students (VA class). The results of this study highlighted the post-test scores in the experimental class as having increased compared with the pre-test scores, which can be seen from the average score of the experimental class post-test that was 76.03 while the pre-test was 62.75. The average post-test value in the control class is 74.19, which was lower than the experimental class. Therefore, this study believes that there was no significant difference in students who are taught using the Word Clap Game strategy in mastering vocabulary with students who were not taught using the Word Clap Game strategy both seem effective in raising the EYL vocabulary mastery.

The present Classroom Action Research (CAR) initiated when the researcher found the students at the eighth-grade students of SMP Juara Pekanbaru had low writing skills. This problem could be identified from their base scores below the standard minimum score (GPA). It was 64,06. The purpose of this research was to try to develop the students’ writing skill and to know the factors that influenced the changing of students’ writing skill. This research was conducted from March up to May 2019 in two cycles consisted of ten meetings. The participants of this research were 27 students of the Andalusia class. In improving the students’ writing skill, a narrative text was used as a learning media. The instruments used in this research were writing test, interview, field note and also observation list to help understand the phenomenon. This research showed that the students got the score 72,22 in cycle 1 dan 84,49 in cycle 2, especially on organization with an increase of 4,47. It could be seen that scrambled pictures media could improve the students’ writing skill.

cyberbullying phenomenon among EFL students interactive communication somehow an exciting topic to discuss. Seeing foreign language speakers interact and communicate with each other on the internet, this is an interesting linguistic study for review. This present library study tries to explore ten high recognized papers from contemporary studies regarding cyberbullying among students’ interactive communication. From these ten studies, this ongoing study constructs its perspective in seeing the cyberbullying context. This study uses a library study in qualitative approach and explores ten contemporary research about cyberbullying and came out with a result of present perspective and currently proposed terminology of cyberbullying among EFL bloggers.

Di era globalisasi ini, pendidikan telah mengalami perubahan dan kemajuan yang signifikan. Sehingga guru hendaknya mampu menggunakan bahkan mengembangkan sebuah teknik, strategi, metode, dan media pembelajaran yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk secara aktif melakukan interaksi dengan berbagai sumber belajar. Melalui pemanfaatan dan pengembangkan teknik, strategi, metode, dan media pembelajaran yang tepat siswa dapat aktif berinteraksi dengan sumber belajarnya dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas mereka sebagai manusia yang terdidik. Dengan demikian, tujuan pendidikan secara global dan khusus dapat dicapai secara maksimal. Mitra PKM ini adalah Sekolah Dasar dan Madrasah Ibtida’iyah sekecamatan Rumbai Kota Pekanbaru Para guru di sekolah mitra ini sangat membutuhkan adanya wadah dan upaya nyata bagi pengembangan kompetensi mereka khususnya dalam hal pemanfaatan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran demi memenuhi kewajiban meningkatkan hasil dari proses pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, tim pengusul kegiatan PKM menawarkan solusi berupa pelatihan dan pengembangan media animasi. Di mana program ini diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah dan inspirasi bagi para guru di sekolah mitra untuk membuat media animasi yang mampu memotivasi para peserta didik. Kegiatan ini telah tuntas dilaksananakan dalam waktu 6 bulan. Dengan demikian, tim pengusul merumuskan kegiatan PKM ini menjadi Pelatihan dan pengembangan media animasi bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar dan Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Sekecamatan Rumbai Kota Pekanbaru

The skills of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by teachers have a significant influence on the teacher's ability to use appropriate learning media, which is a key factor in the success of the teaching process. Therefore, SMP Negeri 1 Mungka Regency has designed learning that is suitable for the situation after the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this service project is to provide knowledge and training to teachers of SMP N 1, Mungka District, Fifty Cities Regency in using Prezi-based technology as a learning medium. The training begins with an explanation of the relationship between media and learning, as well as the role of the media in the learning process in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. Then, the training materials cover how to create a Prezi account, how to register for Prezi, how to install, and how to use it in learning. The training method involved questions and answers, hands-on practice, and demonstrations, and evaluation was carried out through distribution of questionnaires before and after the training. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that in general the participants were satisfied with the schedule and time of the training, as well as with the topics presented. Although some participants experienced difficulties due to inadequate internet connection and devices, there were indications that participants had succeeded in increasing their knowledge and motivation in terms of using Prezi technology as a learning medium. In addition, the simple works of the participants were also considered quite good.
