Abstract

Peak runoff has an important role in flood control.In flood control, the data of peak runoff is needed to anticipate the flood and rain fall modeling estimation is required with the help of HEC-HMS Software. From modeling result on February 3, 2007 researcher got calibration value of simulation of peak discharge 17,9 and peak discharge observation is 16,7 with a value of effectiveness (Nash) of 0.873. Model validation test on 9,10 February and 7 March 2007 resulted in value (Nash) of 0.826, 0.742 and 0.656. Debit puncak mempunyai peranan penting dalam pengendalian banjir. Dalam pengendalian banjir, data dari limpasan hujan dibutuhkan untuk mengantisipasi banjir dan pemodelan estimasi curah hujan dibutuhkan dengan adanya bantuan dari Software HEC-HMS. Hasil pemodelan pada tanggal 3 Februari 2007 didapat nilai kalibrasi simulasi debit puncak sebesar 17,9 m³/s dan observasi debit puncak sebesar 16,7 m³/s dengan nilai efektifitas (Nash) sebesar 0,873. Uji validasi model pada tanggal 9,10 Februari dan 7 Maret 2007 menghasilkan nilai (Nash) sebesar 0,826, 0,742 dan 0,656.

Abstract

The problem of flood inundation in the Kebon Agung River at the Medokan Ayu Village, Rungkut District Surabaya, is getting worse due to the conditions of topographic, soil properties, high rainfalls, rising sea tides and very significant changes in land use. The eastern part of Surabaya, which was formerly open space land and now developed into a residential area. Therefore in the area, there is often flood inundation when the rainy season due to lack of recharge areas and poor drainage facilities. The performance evaluation of the drainage system was carried out using the SWMM program that is combining hydrology and hydraulic analysis. Hydrology analysis is used to determine various rainfall return periods. The maximum rainfall data are collected for 18 years. The hydraulic analysis is used to obtain the data in the form of cross-section, roughness, and drainage channel capacity. The results of the evaluation of drainage system modeling with SWMM have obtained the inundation points, namely for channels K3-K4-K5- K6-K7-K8 on the right side and Ki2-Ki3-Ki4-Ki5 on the left side. Pemasalahan genangan banjir di Kali Kebon Agung di Kelurahan Medokan Ayu Kecamatan Rungkut Surabaya menjadi semakin parah karena kondisi topografi, sifat tanah, tingginya intensitas hujan, meningkatnya pasang surut air laut dan perubahan tata guna lahan yang sangat signifikan. Wilayah Surabaya bagian timur yang semula lahan terbuka kini berkembang menjadi daerah perumahan. Oleh sebab itu di wilayah tersebut sering terjadi genangan banjir saat musim hujan dikarenakan kurangnya daerah resapan dan fasilitas drainase yang kurang baik. Evaluasi kinerja sistem drainase pada wilayah tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan pemodelan SWMM yang megabungkan pemodelan hidrologi dan hirdolika. Analisis hidrologi digunakan untuk menentukan berbagai kala ulang hujan. Data curah hujan maksimum digunakan selama 18 tahun. Analisis hidrolika digunakan untuk memperoleh data berupa penampang, kekasaran, dan kapasitas saluran drainase. Hasil running SWMM didapatkan titik titik lokasi genangan pada saluran K3-K4-K5-K6- K7-K8 pada sisi kanan dan Ki2-Ki3-Ki4-Ki5 pada sisi kiri.

Abstract

Puri Bunga Nirwana, Bukit Permai, and Gunung Batu Housings are some of the housings that exist in Sumbersari subdistrict. These housings are the third former residential land that was initially able to rainwater seeped into the land of the free but is now covered by housing buildings. The effect of this case is the water cannot go into the land directly but the weather even in times of flooding rains. Therefore, to overcome this problem, it is necessary to do a study and planning of artificially recharged wells in the area. From the result of research with the basic circle and square pad at Puri Bunga Nirwana Housings for the types of houses with an area of 72 m2, 84 m2, and 105 m2 were made artificial recharged wells with a diameter of 1 m and a depth of 2 m. While at Bukit Permai and Gunung Batu Housings for the types of houses with an area of 75 m2, 90 m2, 101 m2, and 202 m2 were made artificial recharged wells with a diameter of 1 m and a depth of 2 m. And the useful cross-section used on each housing is the square cross-section. Perumahan Puri Bunga Nirwana, Perumahan Bukit Permai dan Perumahan Gunung Batu merupakan beberapa perumahan yang ada di Kecamatan Sumbersari. Ketiga perumahan ini dahulunya merupakan lahan yang awalnya mampu meresap air hujan ke dalam tanah secara bebas akan tetapi kini tertutup oleh bangunan-bangunan perumahan. Hal ini menyebabkan air tidak dapat langsung masuk ke dalam tanah tetapi menggenang bahkan banjir di saat hujan turun. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini perlu dilakukan perencanaan sumur resapan di daerah tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian dengan penampang lingkaran dan penampang persegi pada Perumahan Puri Bunga Nirwana untuk tipe rumah dengan luas 72 m2, 84 m2, dan 105 m2 dibuat sumur resapan dengan diameter 1,0 m dan kedalaman 2,0 m. Pada Perumahan Bukit Permai dan Perumahan Gunung Batu untuk tipe rumah dengan luas 75 m2, 90 m2, 101 m2 dan 202 m2 dibuat sumur resapan dengan diameter 1,0 m dan kedalaman 2,0 m.dari hasil perhitungan diketahui bahwa penampang yang efektif digunakan pada masing-masing perumahan adalah penampang persegi.

Abstract

Resistivity method is a useful geophysical tool for investigating landslides. It can be used to estimate the subsurface structure of a landslide mass, the depth of the failure surface, and the lateral extent of a landslide. High resolution of resistivity data were obtained by applying Schlumberger configuration, while penetrating deepness was obtained by applying Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) configuration. Interpretation of subsurface condition showed there was soil layer in survey area which was indicated as slip surface triggering the landslide.

Abstract

Population growth is one of the causes of land-use change that can increase runoff. Tanggul watershed is one of the watersheds which often overflows during the rainy season. This study purpose to analyze the effect of land-use changes on runoff in Tanggul watershed using SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) model. To make sure the performance of SWAT model calibration and classified by the value of NSE and R2. The result of calibration included in a good category and validation included in a very good category. This study was modeling forest land-use change in 2004-2017 to determine the effect of land-use change on runoff. The result in this model of forest land-use change can increase runoff.

Abstract

The difference in rainfall intensity affects the hydrological cycle as a process that greatly determines the amount of water discharge. Thus, in water resources management, it is important to determine the distribution pattern of rainfall and discharge. By studying the characteristics of rainfall distribution patterns and water discharge, the potential of water resources can be illustrated well. This study uses the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis method to examine spatial variability of rainfall intensity and water discharge in Bondowoso Regency. Rainfall and discharge data are collected from 35 rain stations and 227 weirs in 2008 until 2018. This study produces monthly average rainfall distribution values between 190 mm / month with monthly average discharge between 7300lt/sec/month. Meanwhile, the obtained average annual rainfall distribution values are between 2300 mm/year with annual average discharge values between 105000 lt/sec/month. The spatial distribution map using IDW method produces information on the potential of water resources as follow: the higher the height of a place, the higher the average monthly rainfall, while the lower the height of a place, the higher the average monthly discharge. As for the obtained correlation value between rainfall and discharge is R² = 0.665.

Abstract

Currently, water demand is increasing, both domestic, industrial and agricultural water needs. However, the increase in water demand is not due to an increase in the water availability due to changes in land use and other factors that pose a threat to increased exploitation of water resources. So it is necessary to analyze and evaluate the water needs to anticipate the impact of drought in the Asem-Tekung-Jatirowo sub watersheds. The calculation of water supply and water demand can be carried out using the water balance method, assisted by the WEAP (Evaporation and Water Planning) program, through data integration of streamflow analysis and water user in the river reach. The results showed that the sub-watershed area showed a deficit of water in 2013, with the Jatiroto region having the highest air deficit of 1.58 million m3 or 44.2%. Based on this analysis, urgently needed a recommendation of drought anticipation strategies these are planting patterns to adjust condition of water supply, storage of water reserves, conservation of critical land, and repair of channels that are at risk of water seepage.

Abstract

Water requirement in Pesanggaran is rice fields, while the availability of irrigation water is obtained from rainfall and irrigation discharge. The water balance is calculated by using a tool such as the Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP) where the results of the WEAP are in the form of a broad percentage of water coverage that can be covered (Coverage). The results of the WEAP calculation are in the form of Coverage as a reference in calculating profits for each year. Optimization in the Very Dry and Normal Year is the existing of where the start of planting begins in December period 1 while the optimize has the start of planting in the December period 3 in the Dry and Wet Season. WEAP optimization is seen in the number of Coverage values where the coverage value for a Dry Year before optimization is 99.34%, and after optimization is 100%, Wet Year before optimization is 99.1%, and after optimization is 100%, for Very Dry Year Coverage value is 95.69%, and Normal Year Coverage as 99.16%.

Abstract

Sub DAS Talang merupakan bagian dari DAS Mayang yang merupakan salah satu daerah aliran sungai yang berada di Kabupaten Jember. Meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia terhadap tempat tinggal menyebabkan perubahan tata guna lahan dari daerah resapan menjadi pemukiman. Sehingga air hujan tidak dapat meresap ke dalam tanah dan menjadi aliran  permukaan dan menyebabkan debit yang dihasilkan meningkat. Maka dari itu dilakukan  klasifikasi citra landsat 7 & 8 menggunakan program ERR Mapper & ArcGIS untuk mengetahui perubahan tata guna lahan dan program HEC-HMS untuk mengetahui perubahan debit puncak yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SCS Unit Hydrograph dengan tata guna lahan tahun 2009, 2013, dan 2018 sedangkan data curah hujan harian dan debit harian tahun 2018. Pada tata guna lahan tahun 2009 sampai 2018 luas lahan hutan terus mengalami penurunan sebesar 7,49 %. Hasil dari analisa berupa grafik yang menunjukkan debit puncak terus meningkat dari tahun 2009, 2013, hingga tahun 2018. Debit puncak mengalami peningkatan sebesar 67,48 % dikarenakan nilai CN yang meningkat seiring penurunan luasan hutan sehingga debit yang dihasilkan juga menjadi lebih besar.

Abstract

Abstract. The Sampean Baru watershed is categorized as an area with a very high level of vulnerability to drought. The purpose of this study was to assess the hydrological drought in the Sampean Baru watershed. NCEP / NCAR Reanalysis climate change data is used to obtain synthetic rainfall models of the past. This climate change data has crude resolution and is global in scale. The NCEP / NCAR Reanalysis data was processed through a downscaling process to obtain local scale climate data in the form of past synthetic rains. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is one of the downscaling models used in this study. The ANN downscaling output was processed through discharge modeling using SWAT. Hydrological drought assessment used the Standardized Precipitation Index (SRI) method. The SRI calculation was based on the accumulated discharge over a period of time. The results indicated that the ANN downscaling process can bridge global scale climate data to local scale climate data. SWAT modeling gave excellent results. SRI-6 can describe past droughts. It can be seen from the compatibility between the results of the drought assessment and the drought data belonging to the relevant authorities.
