Abstract

Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) film have been grown by Metalorganic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) method on Semi Insulating-Gallium Arsenide (SI-GaAs) substrates using of Trisdimethylaminoarsenic (TDMAAs) and Trimethylgallium (TMGa) precursors. The characteristic of GaAs film strongly depends on growth temperature. The best crystallinity quality of film was obtained at growth temperature, V/III ratio, reactor pressure, N2 and H2 dilute are 580 oC, 4.8, 50 torr, 300 sccm, respectively. X-ray diffraction data indicate that the GaAs films grown at 580 oC show epitaxial layer with FWHM on (200) peak of about 0,477o. Hall effect measurement data indicate that the grown layer were p-type semiconductor, with Hall mobility and carrier concentration in the range of 346 cm2/V.s and 3.17 x 1017 cm-3, respectively. The band gap of GaAs films determined by photoluminiscense (PL) measurement was 1,42 eV. This value is same as the band gap of bulk GaAs.

Abstract

GaN-based double-hetero film has been grown on (0001) sapphire substrate by plasma-assisted MOCVD method. The structure of film was n-GaN/Al0.25Ga0.75N/In0.3Ga0.7N/Al0.25Ga0.75N/p-GaN. A photoluminescence (PL) peak originating from InGaN active layer has been observed at room temperature, which produced emission wavelength of 453 nm corresponded to energy of 2.74 eV. However, broadening of the peak caused by the crystalline quality of the InGaN epilayer is still poor, which is related with fluctuation of In rich regions.

Abstract

Gallium nitride (GaN) thin films have been grown on Si(111) substrate by PA-MOCVD method, with trimethylgallium (TMGa) and radical nitrogen resulted by plasma of nitrogen gas as a source of Ga and N respectively. The growth was performed at 675 °C; 0.4 torr; 90 sccm and 0.08-0.12 sccm of substrate temperature, reactor pressure, gas flow of nitrogen and TMGa, respectively. The grown polycrystalline GaN thin films have hexagonal structure and n-type semiconductor. The growth rate of the grown thin films increased with increasing gas flow of TMGa. The Hall mobility value of films is still low due to the presence of O and C impurities. The highest value of mobility was found to be 64.88 cm2/V.s with 5.47 x 1018 cm-3 of carrier concentration.

Abstract

Ferromagnetic semiconductor GaN:Mn thin films were successfully grown by plasma-assisted metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (PA-MOCVD) method on c-plane sapphire substrate. The films were grown at various Mn source flux in the range of 5 - 40 sccm and growth temperature which was lower than that of MOCVD themal, i.e. in the range of 625-700 °C. Cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl (CpMnT) was used as a source of Mn. X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed that GaN:Mn films are wurtzite and do not show second phase for film with Mn concentration up to 6.4% at 650 °C of growth temperature. Hall effect measurements show n-type characteristics. The carrier (electron) density tends to decreases and Hall mobility tends to with the increase of Mn concentration is increased. Hysteresis curves observed from VSM measurements indicated that all of the samples are ferromagnetic at room temperature.

Abstract

Fish have spesific characteristic of sound frequency. This sound frequency can be received by fish to responds. Connectivity between sound frequency and fish respond indicates that source of sound frequency has been to function as an attractor. The objectives of this research were to determine the sound frequency of L. argentimaculatus and to describe fish respond of the sound frequency that records as an attractor for fish to find to signal in a laboratory scale. Source of sound frequency was L. argentimaculatus with total length 17 – 22 cm that doing some activities to find feed. Attractor that used in this research was a to research sound editting frequency recording of L. argentimaculatus that was feeding activity and sound of feed target.Lowest frequency range of L. argentimaculatus was 100,8 Hz while highest frequency range was 3244,1 Hz with the intensity range was 30 dB to 57 dB. The significant response time difference of L. argentimaculatus was between morning and daytime observation and between daytime and evening observation.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to synthesize and to characterize a single and a double layer ZnO and ZnO/ZnO:Ag thin films and their application for degradation of direct blue 71. Double layer (DL) thin films of zinc oxide and silver-doped zinc oxide (ZnO/ZnO:Ag) were deposited on the substrate glass by using sol-gel spray coating technique. Ag doping variations (2, 4, 6 and 8 %mol) into ZnO were studied. X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) and UV-Vis spectrophotometer were used to analyze structure and optical properties of thin films. Direct Blue 71 (DB71) was used for photocatalytic evaluation under UV light irradiation. XRD result showed that all prepared thin films have wurtzite structure with better crytalinity compared to double layer preparation and increasing concentration of Ag doping. UV-Vis transmittance spectra showed that decreasing of transparency of films followed by DL preparation and Ag doping concentration. By using envelope method, energy gap of films can be determined. ZnO/ZnO:Ag 6% (DL 6%) indicated the smallest energy gap 3,038 eV. The highest DB71 degradation result under UV light irradiation was reached by DL 6% with 55.43% and 8.56 x 10-3 min-1 for photocatalytic efficiency and photodegradation rate, respectively.

Abstract

Police efforts in achieving the educational goals has not come true as well. Jakarta Police SPN even further behind the other Police-Police found in Indonesia. Indicators not maximal achievement of educational goals Police use them visible on the lower end of the exam results Education and Formation (Diktuk) Police Officer Polda Metro Jaya on the NES. The role of educators is expected to print the candidates NCO Professional Police so that they can run their police duties properly in accordance with the ethics of the police which is based on the Tribrata. The method used in this research is the method of juridical sociological (empirical). The establishment of the Police Officer Education is an education to establish and equip students to be members of the police who have the knowledge, skills, abilities, commendable attitude and behavior in the context of carrying out police duties that come from the general public with the lowest level of high school graduates who have passed the various required tests such as administration and others.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menghasilkan modul ajar pada mata kuliah permesinan bantu program Diploma III Teknika di Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Pengembangan ( Research and Development ). Desain penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil produk yang dibuat dengan menggunakan Microsoft word. 2) Hasil produk modul ajar dinyatakan layak digunakan menurut ahli media dan materi dengan persentase 86,59% dan 74,39%, dan menurut tanggapan taruna sebagai respon pengguna dinyatakan layak dengan persentase 76,12% sehingga produk yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran.
