Abstract

This research aims at examining the influence of some variables i.e. current performance, after initiation performance, maturity, capital structure, and ownership structure, on sustainability of dividend initiation policy, and also the influence of sustainability of dividend initiation policy itself on its consequence variable i.e. stock performance. This research was conducted to sample firms consisting of 180 going public firms listed at Jakarta Stock Exchange and involving financial data which all belongs to kind of secondary data. Using Structural Equation Model (SEM) for data analysis and hypothesis testing, this research has found significant influence from after initiation performance, the only variable among four antecedent variables being examined, to sustainability of dividend initiation policy, and there is also found significant influence from sustainability of dividend initiation policy to its consequence variable i.e. stock performance. In a whole, findings of this research indicate that while signaling model of dividend is proven to be credible in explaining dividend initiation policy behavior among Indonesian going-public firms, agency cost model is not, particularly pertaining to monitoring rationale proposition (Easterbrook, 1984) and maturity proposition (Grullon, 2001). Finally, the existence of difference between finding of this research and those of ones conducted in advanced market context, basically provides supporting evidence on Frankfutter & Wood’s argument stating that dividend policy is contextual in nature.Keywords: Inisiasi Dividen, Sustainabilitas Dividen, Signaling Model, Agency Cost Model

Abstract

Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Pendekatan Zona Alfa dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kejuruan AkuntansiAbstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning with alpha zone approach on the student's learning outcomes in accounting vocational training. The research design uses non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. This Research is conducted on students of SMK Buol totaling 103 students. Convinience sampling is used by using sampling or determine the experimental class and control class. Data were analyzed using T Test. The results showed that there were differences between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class project-based learning approach is more effective than the alpha zone on project-based learning without an alpha zone.Key Words: project-based learning, alpha zone, learning outcomesAbstrak: Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan pendekatan zona alfa terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata diklat kejuruan akuntansi. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa SMK Se-Kabupaten Buol yang berjumlah 103 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Convinience Sampling atau menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data menggunakan T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yakni pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan pendekatan zona alfa lebih efektif dari pada pembelajaran berbasis proyek tanpa zona alfa.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis proyek, zona alfa, hasil belajar

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of family environment in entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship learning in school, as well as the achievement motive against the interest of entrepreneurship of senior high school students throughout Malang. The study uses a quantitative approach. The study population was high school state students throughout Malang. The process of sampling using proportional random sampling technique, resulting in a sample of 347 high school students. Data were analyzed using analysis of quantitative description. The findings show that: (1) the family environment of entrepreneurship education in entrepreneurship affect the interest of students, (2) entrepreneurial learning in schools using learning media has an influence on students 'interest in entrepreneurship, (3) Achievement motive significant effect on students' interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the findings, it can be suggested (1) to the parents to continue to teach children as early as possible to have the properties of an entrepreneur as well as supporting the child when choosing to become entrepreneurs rather than being an employee, (2) to the school, is expected in perform entrepreneurial learning, can follow changes in the business world, using a variety of learning media and increase students' motivation to try to become entrepreneurs by using media appropriate learning in school.Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan  di lingkungan keluarga, pembelajaran kewirausahaan di sekolah, serta achievement motive terhadap minat kewirausahaan siswa SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri se-Kabupaten Malang. Proses penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling, sehingga menghasilkan sampel sejumlah 347 siswa SMA. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskripsi kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pendidikan kewirausahaan di lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap minat kewirausahaan siswa, (2) pembelajaran kewirausahaan disekolah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat kewirausahaan siswa, (3) achievement motive berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat kewirausahaan siswa. Berdasarkan pada temuan penelitian tersebut, dapat disarankan (1) kepada orangtua siswa untuk terus mengajarkan anak-anak sedini mungkin untuk memiliki sifat-sifat seorang wirausaha serta mendukung anak ketika memilih menjadi wirausaha daripada menjadi pegawai, (2) kepada pihak sekolah, diharapkan dalam melakukan pembelajaran kewirausahaan, dapat mengikuti perubahan pada dunia usaha, menggunakan media belajar yang bervariasi dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk mencoba menjadi wirausaha dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat di sekolah.
