Abstract

The objective of the study is to evaluate the levels of knowledge and self care in mothers with the primipara post partum in Purwokerto before and after intervention both control and experimental group. Quasi-experimental two group design was applied in the study. Forty eight mothers with primipara post partum were recruited from Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital and maternal clinic in Purwokerto. Data analysis in the study included correlation, paird t-test, and independent t-test. The findings of the study show that the levels of knowledge and self care in mothers with primipara post partum were significantly different between control and experimental group as well as before and after intervention in experimental group (p less than 0.001).FCMC: discharge planning and home care could enhance the level of knowledge and self care in mothers with primipara post partum.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze application of five family duties in health area in taking care of member of family suffering Diabetus Mellitus. This was a qualitative research with fenomenologis approach, with data collecting method indepth interview. Participant of this study were selected to have certain criterion that is one of member family is suffering Diabetes mellitus. Result of this research indicated that family to recognize Diabetes mellitus after contact with health facility. Decision taken by family is strive health or brings to health service, the treatment is give nutrition and takes medicine regularly. Workdload of family and knowledge in accomplishment of economic requirement influences psychological of patient especially in arrangement of area which kondusif.

Abstract

The Objective of study is to know the effect of age and self-concept for achievement of maternal role when the baby age 0-6 months. This research used the analytical method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were mothers who had baby aged 6 months to 12 months old in Public Health Center 2 Sokaraja-Banyumas with a population of 70 respondents. The Sampling technique used the simple random sampling for 41 respondents. The analysis used by the rank spearman and regression test. The results showed that the majority of maternal was 20–30 years old. The majority self-concept and achievement role of maternal were good. Mother age factor was dominantly influence of maternal achievement role (p =0,021).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine what factors that are relate to the children nutritional status. The research is an analytic of the factors using cross sectional research design. The subjects are 124 children that are recruited by applying simple random sampling (lottery technique). The data are collected the information in KMS and Toddler Nutrition Status Quesionnaire. We analyzed the data descriptively by applying the chi-square analysis.  The findings show that nutrition status of children related to economic stustus of parents (p=0,006), knowlege of mothers (p=0,000), education of mothers (p=0,006), exclusive breasfeeding (p=0,013), imunisation of children (p=0,045). Improvement of mothers’ knowledge of children nutrition, exclusive breasfeeding, and imunization should be given by health education. Mothers and health providers have to cooperate to complete the immunization program for the children.
