Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Meningioma is a tumor composed of cells of neoplastic meningothelial (arachnoidal) cells that a rise from the arachnoid membrane and the layer of the arachnoid villi associated with intradural venous sinuses and surrounding tissue. Meningiomas tumors is one of the central nervous system (CNS) the most commonly found (the second sequence) and generally grow slowly. Approximately 60-95% activity of telomerase (hTERT ) found on meningiomas and can induces VEGF . The aim of this study is to determine the role of hTERT and VEGF in meningiomas grading . Methods : This study is conducted using analytic observasional cross sectional method and had been analyzed with  unpaired categorical analysis of the 60 cases of meningioma (46 cases grade I, 7 cases grade II, and7 cases grade III). The sample were obtained the archive of Anatomical Pathology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University/Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital Result : The result of this study showed: 44 cases (96%) grade I meningiomas showed positive hTERT imunoexpression weak to strong, 2 cases(4%) non-reactive and VEGF imunoexpression showed strong positive 12 cases (26%), 24 cases(52%) were moderate positive and 10 cases (22%) weak positive. 7 cases (100%) grade II showed a strong positive hTERT imunoexpression and 5 cases (71%) showed a strong positive VEGF imunoexpression, 2 cases (29%) were moderate positive. 6 cases (86%) grade III showed strong positive hTERT imunoexpression, 1 case (14%) were moderate positive and 7 cases(100%) showed a strong positive VEGF imunoexpression. Statistical analysis revealed imunoexpression VEGF showed stronger positivity with p- value = 0.02 (< 0.05) compared to the hTERT imunoexpression with p-value =  0.73 (> 0.05). Conclusion : More affecting angiogenesis gradations meningiomas, seen by the presence of VEGF higher imunoexpression on higher gradations. hTERT Imunoexpression cannot determine of the meningiomas histopathological grading.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan dari Google Workspace For Education yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran daring.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik yang dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu melalui wawancara model semi terstruktur dengan bantuaan aplikasi google meet kepada responden yaitu tenaga pengajar di Sumatera Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Google Workspace For Education telah digunakan oleh guru-guru di Sumatera Selatan dengan baik untuk proses pembelajaran daring yaitu seperti aplikasi Google Classroom, Google Form, Google Sheet, Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Calendars, Google Drive, Jamboard, Google Slides dan Google Photos. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Daring, Google Workspace For Education Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the Google Workspace For Education used for learning courage. The research method is qualitative method. Data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews with the help of the Google Meet application for teachers in South Sumatera. The results of this research is indicate that the teacher in South Sumatera use GWFE for challenging learning processes such as Google Classroom applications, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Calendars, Google Drive, Jamboard , Google Slides and Google Photos Keywords: Online Learning, Google Workspace For Education

Abstract

Background: Hypoxic conditions in preeclampsia cause oxidative stress in the placenta. Oxidative stress triggers endothelial dysfunction resulting in changes in placental parenchyma and vasculature, turn leads to clinical manifestations in maternal and neonatal. Previous studies reported that preeclampsia placental tissue increased the expression of the oxidative stress marker 8OH2dG.Objective: This study aimed to observe the expression of the marker 8OH2dG on the incidence ofpreeclampsia and its association with neonatal outcome.Methods: This study design was case-control, a number of 44 pregnant women participated in this study. The case group was preeclampsia women based on American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist (ACOG) 2013 criteria and normotensive women as control group. The immunohistochemical was perform in placental tissue for expression of 8OH2dG in trophoblast nuclei. The results were positive when the trophoblast cell nuclei were stained ≥5% with moderate and strong intensity; and negative if stained weakly <5%. Bivariate analysis was performed to determine the association of 8OH2dG expression with preeclampsia and neonatal outcome.Results: This study reported the frequency of trophoblast nuclei with 8OH2dG positive staining was higher in the preeclampsia group than the control group. Expression of 8OH2dG positive staining also increased the risk of low birth weight and asphyxia.Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the marker 8OH2dG is associated with preeclampsia and adversely neonatal outcome.Keywords: 8OH2dG, preeclampsia, oxidative stress, neonatal outcome
