Abstract

Predictions of financial distress has a central role for the company's going concern aspects. This research aims to empirically prove the role of profitability, leverage and liquidity in financial distress. The research population comprised all companies incorporated in the agricultural sector as well as basic industry and chemical sectors. The research sample obtained as many as 380 observations through the purposive sampling method. This study uses logistic regression analysis. This study provides evidence of significant role between profitability and liquidity on financial distress condition in the agricultural sector as well as the basic industry and chemical sectors. In the basic industry and chemical sectors, leverage has a significant role on financial distress condition.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the financial performance of telecommunications sektor companies judging from profitability ratios which unclude ROA, ROE, and NPM period  before and during the Covid-19 pandemi. Covid-19 has an impact on the weakening of various sektors of the economy. Nevertheless, there are still some sektors that are able togrow. One of them is the telecommunications sektor. The internet plays a big role in community activities that are generally carried out online, causing an increase in the performance of telecommuniciation issuers. The data used in this study is the financial statements of telecommunication companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange quarter 2 of 2019-quarter 1 of 2021 and analyzed using descriptive methods. The results showed that the financial performance of telecommunications sektor companies was guided by the average value of profitability ratios that include ROA, ROE, and NPM obtained results that during the covid-19 pandemi were first confirmed, overall, the average financial performance of telecommunications sektor companies has increased. Assesment with the analysis of Hotteling’s T2 test also provided results that there was no difference in financial performance in terms of the profitability ratio between before and during the covid-19 pandemi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penentuan konsentrasi dan tipe kepemilikan pada kinerja dan risiko bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) untuk periode 2000-2018. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel. Karakteristik utama dari analisis regresi data panel adalah penggunaan uji Hausman. Data diperoleh dan dikolaborasikan dari beberapa penyedia data seperti Osiris, Bloomberg, dan situs web Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari 42 bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diproses menggunakan perangkat lunak Stata: Software for Statistics and Data Science. Konsentrasi kepemilikan diukur menggunakan Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) dan kepemilikan asing dan domestik sebagai proksi dengan menggunakan variabel dummy. Untuk mengukur kinerja bank, penelitian ini menggunakan proksi ROA dan ROE sedangkan standar deviasi pengembalian digunakan untuk mengukur risiko bank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh konsentrasi kepemilikan terhadap kinerja bank. Selain itu, kepemilikan domestik memiliki efek positif pada kinerja bank. Dalam hal risiko, konsentrasi kepemilikan memiliki efek positif pada risiko bank. Semakin terkonsentrasi kepemilikan bank, maka bank akan semakin berisiko. Selain itu, kepemilikan asing dan domestik berdampak pada risiko bank. Kepemilikan asing berpengaruh positif terhadap risiko bank. Tingkat kepemilikan asing terhadap bank berpengaruh pada risiko bank. Kepemilikan asing yang tinggi menempatkan bank dalam risiko.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a fundamental role in the regional economy as well as the national economy. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the performance variability of MSMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research population is all MSMEs in Magelang City. The research sample was 7,924 MSMEs obtained through purposive sampling. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis. The results and discussion show that the City of Magelang, from an economic perspective, has a fairly stable economic condition from 2015 to 2019. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 put the economy of Magelang City in a recession phase. Nevertheless, the competitiveness of Magelang City in 2020 has increased compared to 2019. The analysis of the variability of the performance of MSMEs shows that the South Magelang District has the lowest turnover of MSMEs. Central Magelang Subdistrict has the highest MSME turnover value. South Magelang Subdistrict has the highest average turnover of MSME compared to the average turnover of MSME in North Magelang and Central Magelang Districts.

Abstract

Desa Gunungpring di Magelang, Jawa Tengah merupakan salah satu desa wisata religi yang menjadi destinasi bagi wisatawan untuk melakukan ziarah ke makam ulama yang ada di daerah ini. Kawasan ini memberikan kebermanfaatan ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar. Banyak warga yang mengandalkan penghasilan keluarganya dari usaha yang dijalankan di desa wisata Gunungpring. Namun, kendala yang dialami pelaku usaha yaitu kedatangan wisatawan yang bersifat musiman. Jumlah wisatawan akan meningkat pada bulan-bulan tertentu, namun akan menurun di bulan lainnya. Hal ini memberikan pengaruh pada pendapatan masyarakat yang tidak stabil. Oleh karena itu, Program kemitraan masyarakat ini berusaha mengatasi kendala yang dialami oleh para pelaku usaha dengan melakukan pendampingan strategi marketing digital. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman strategi marketing digital yang baik dan pentingnya pemasaran digital yang semakin berkembang sehingga mampu menjangkau masyarakat atau konsumen yang lebih luas. Pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat bekerjasama dengan perangkat desa Gunungpring dan kelompok sadar wisata “Adiluhung” yang ada di Gunungpring. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu sosialisasi, edukasi dan pendampingan. Hasil dari program ini yaitu masyarakat Gunungpring khususnya pelaku usaha yang berada di kawasan Gunungpring memahami pentingnya pemasaran digital dalam meningkatkan penjualan dan jangkauan konsumen yang lebih luas, sehingga pelaku usaha tidak hanya bergantung pada wisatawan yang datang berkunjung. Para pelaku usaha yang semula hanya melakukan penjualan secara konvensional, kemudian dapat memanfaatkan aplikasi online atau e-commerce dalam melakukan penjualan produknya.Gunungpring Village in Magelang, Central Java, is a religious tourism village that is a destination for tourists on pilgrimages to the tombs of scholars in this area. This area provides economic benefits for the surrounding community. Many residents rely on family income from businesses run in the Gunungpring tourist village. However, the obstacle experienced by business actors is the arrival of seasonal tourists. The number of tourists will increase in certain months but will decrease in other months. It has an impact on unstable people's income. Therefore, this community partnership program seeks to overcome the obstacles experienced by business actors by providing digital marketing strategy assistance. This program aims to provide a good understanding of digital marketing strategies and the importance of digital marketing, which is growing so that it can reach a wider audience or consumers. The Community Partnership Program is implemented in collaboration with Gunungpring village officials and the "Adiluhung" tourism awareness group in Gunungpring. The methods used are outreach, education, and mentoring. The result of this program is that the people of Gunungpring, especially business actors in the Gunungpring area, understand the importance of digital marketing in increasing sales and reaching a wider audience so that businesses do not only depend on tourists who come to visit. Business actors who previously only made conventional sales can then use online or e-commerce applications to sell their products.
