Abstract

The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes Civics Class VI SDN 005Bukit Kapur. This study aims to describe the results of learning by using the cooperativemodel script. The subjects were students of class VI SDN 005 Bukit Kapur consisting of twocycles. The data in this study focuses on improving learning outcomes. The instrument usedfor data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets that do after thelearning process. Results showed absorption learning outcomes on average 93% in subjectscategorized Civics very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized by an averageof 93%. While completeness of student learning outcomes otherwise completed 100%.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low result of fifth grade students learn math A SDN 013Buluh Kasap Dumai. Of the 32 students, only 7 students who achieve specified KKM is 65. Tothe researchers conduct classroom action research with the aim to improve learningoutcomes VA SDN 013 Buluh Kasap Dumai math grade students through interactive learningmodel, the study was conducted in February 2012. The subjects were students SDN 013 BuluhKasap Dumai VA classes totaling 32 students. The data used in this research is data ofstudent learning outcomes, student activities, complete learn student and teacher activities.Instruments used in this study consisted of two research instruments are instruments learningdevice consists of a syllabus, lesson plan, student worksheets and data collection instrumentsconsist of observation of student activity sheets, teacher activity observation sheet, a testsheet. The results showed mastery of students in each cycle has increased, the base score isthe number of students who completed 7 students (21.90%), in the first cycle the number ofstudents who pass increases with the number of 16 students (50.00%), the second cycleincreases with the number of student mastery of 25 students (78.12%). It can be concludedfrom the results of fifth grade students learn math A SDN 013 Buluh Kasap Dumai can beimproved through the application of interactive learning model.

Abstract

Coast Sakera of Bintan regency of Riau Islands province has become location implementation research On July 2016, with a goal determine the oil content and the abundance of diatoms in each station and the relationship between oil content with the abundance of diatoms. The survey method was applied in four stations, each station consists of three sampling points. Based on the result, the hinghest average value of oil content was obtained at station 3 (0,3587 ppm) and the lowest was at station 4 (0,1238 ppm). Diatoms were found in the surface waters of coast Sakera were 12 species. Where the species most dominating is Isthmia sp 2 Nitzschia sp 1 and Nitzschia sp 2. Based on the result, the hinghest average value of diatoms was obtained at station 4 (104 ind/l) and the lowest was at station 3 (51 ind/l). The relationship between oil content with diatom abundances has weak negative correlation, wich mean increasingly high of oil content will decline the abundance of diatoms of coast Sakera.Keywords : Coast Sakera, abundance, oil, and diatoms

Abstract

Abstract: Research has been conducted on chemical equilibrium subject in XI IPA 3 class SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. Purpose from this research is to find out the achievement of completness learning students on chemical equilibrium subject in XI IPA 3 class SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. Form of this research is pre-experimental research with One-ShotStudy Casedesign. Time for data collection is start from November until December 2014. The selected sample is one from three classes, which is XI IPA 3class. This Class has been selected because in the learning process it seen students with lower activity and lacking motivation. Data analysis technique used in this research is with calculate the percentage of completeness of classical study. Based on result final data processing research obtained classical learning completeness at 90%, its means the implementation of active learning strategy Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) typewith Question Box media can achieve completeness learning students on chemical equilibrium subject in XI IPA class SMAN 14 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE), Question Box media,Mastery Learning, chemical bonds.

Abstract

Abstract : Classroom Action Research (CAR) has been done using active learning strategy Instant Assessmen type to improve the student activity and student achievement on the subject of Colloid in class XI Science 1 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in April to May 2016 and the subjects were students of class XI Science 1 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru and subjects of research was 42 students which consist of 19 males and 23 females. The data was collected from action of each observation, analyzed descriptively by using techniques percentage to see results that occur in learning activities. This study consisted of two cycles where the average student activity in the end of the learning process gained 54,75% and student achievement in classical learning completeness percentage obtained 85.71%.Key Word : Instant Assessment, activity, result of study

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of research was to know whether there was significant difference for student’s achievement between the application of the TGT and TAI models on the topic of hydrocarbon in class X Senior High School 1 Rambah and to know the cooperative learning that has been gave the best result to student’s achievement between TGT and TAI models. The kind of research was the experiment research with Randomized Pretest-Posttest Comparison Group Design. There were three classes as population, X.E, X.F and X.G. There were two classes as sample of research which were choiced randomly by using normality and homogenity test. The result, class X.F as the experiment that used TGT model and class X.E as the experiment that used TAI model. The data analysis technique used to test hypothesis was the t-test of two side. The result of analysis showed that there was no significant difference the student’s achievement between the application of TGT and TAI models (tobserved = -1,428 and ttable = 2,00). The test of N-gain normalized showed that students achievement between TGT and TAI models was high category with valued 0,76 and 0,81. Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the application of active learning strategy type Learning Start With A Question (LSQ)) has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X.5 class as experiment class and X.7 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (5,78 > 1,67). It means that using active learning strategy type LSQ can improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,71) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,51). Abstract

Abstract: The research about comparing cooperative learning models types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with Numbered Head Together (NHT) has been done to improve student’s achievement on learning topic Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements at class X SMAN 2 Dayun. This research aimed to find out student’s achievement the better one between cooperative learning models types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with Numbered Head Together (NHT) on learning topic of Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements by comparing these two models. This was a quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Population on this research ware all classes X in SMAN 2 Dayun consisting of four classes. The subject of this research ware X4 as the experimental class of TSTS and X2 as the experimental class of NHT, which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using two tail t-test. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained that tcount = 4,271 and ttable = 2,00 with α = 0,05, dk = 53. tcount ≥ ttable 4,271≥ 2,00. It means there are significant differences between the student’s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with the student’s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the learning topic of Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements in SMAN 2 Dayun.Keywords: TSTS, NHT, Learning achievement, Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to produce Student Task Sheet (LKPD) based on guided inquiry on salt hydrolysis and to know the response of teachers and students on developed Student Task Sheet. The model used in this research is 4-D through 4 phases : Definition, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The disseminate is not carried out due to takes time. An Analysis of Basic Competence (KD) with indicators that had been integrated with Guided Inquiry stage for being used as reference in developing Student Task Sheet had been produced during the definition stage. The Design stage had produced task sheet that had been designed. The development stage had produced task sheet that had been validated by 3 validators, and it was tested on 2 chemistry teachers and 13 students. Product were validated and were responded based on properness of contens, presentation, language, and design. The result showd that tash sheet had been developed based on four aspects : 95,13% on contents aspect, 95,84% on properness of presentation aspect, 97,92% on properness of language aspect and 93,75% on properness of design aspect. Overall, the average percentage of the task sheet that had been developed was 95,83%. That value included in valid category.Keywords : Student Task Sheet (LKPD), Guided Inuiry, Salt Hydrolisis, 4-D

Abstract

Abstract: The porposes of research were to know improvement of student achievement and the effect of the application of cooperative learning model MURDER to increased student achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in Class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This research was a form of experimental research with the design randomized control group pretest-posttest. The study population was all students of class X at SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The samples were students of class X.3 as experimental class and class X.2 as the control class. The experimental class was applied cooperative learning model MURDER, while the control class using discussion method. Data were analyzed using t-test. Results from the study showed tcount>ttable (4,58 >1.67) and category increase student achievement in the experimental class at 0,79 with high katergori while the experimental class category increase student achievement by 0.55 with category so it can be concluded the implementation of cooperative learning model MURDER can improve the student achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model MURDER, Student Achievement, Hydrocarbon
