Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) Berbantuan Mouse Mischief terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X materi fungsi kuadrat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Temanggung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Pemilihan sampel dengan cara random sampling, diperoleh siswa X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan pembelajaran TPS Berbantuan Mouse Mischief, sedangkan kelas kontrol diajar dengan pembelajaran ekspositori. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan data nilai mid semester matematika dan metode tes untuk menentukan hasil belajar siswa yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji ketuntasan dan uji perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar, baik ketuntasan individual maupun ketuntasan klasikal; dan (2) rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol.The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning Assisted by Mouse Mischief towards students learning achievement grade X in quadratic functions material. The population in this research is student of grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Temanggung 2012/2013 academic year. The research samples were taken by using random sampling and found class X-2 as the experiment group and class X-4 as the control group. Experiment class was taught by TPS learning assisted by Mouse Mischief, while the control class was taught with the expository learning. Data is collected obtained by the documentation method to get math midterm score and test method for determining student learning achievement which is then analyzed by learning mastery test, individually and classically and the mean difference test. The results of this research are (1) the experiment class which implements TPS learning assisted by Mouse Mischief has reached mastery of learning, individually and classically, (2) the learning achievement of the experiment group that implements TPS learning assisted by Mouse Mischief is better than the control group that implements expository learning.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education sector is changing the face-to-face learning system into online learning. This research was conducted to find out how the pattern of parental assistance in online learning at the Elementary School (SD) level. The research data were obtained using a questionnaire given online via Google Form to 100 parents of elementary school students who were selected by random sampling method. Based on the research results, it is concluded that parents play a role in assisting the learning process of children at home. Most parents cannot fully assist their children in learning because both parents have to work. As a solution, other family members can accompany their children to learn. Not a few parents also entrust tutors to accompany their children to study because parents do not understand the material provided. Parents have high hopes that teachers in explaining the material are not too fast so that students can understand the material better, communication between students and teachers is more intense, material is integrated with student life, and students acquire skills and character education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the thinking processes of a concrete student in solving two-dimensional problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were two students taken using purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Test of Logical Operations and problem-solving tests. Stages of data analysis used are researching all data, making a cognitive classification of students, choosing concrete students to be used as research subjects, reviewing the results of concrete student work in solving mathematical problems, verify data and data sources that have been classified and transcribed in the presentation or exposure of data. The results showed that at the stage of understanding the problem and re-checking the answers, concrete students use the assimilation at the stage of planning to solve the problem of doing the disequilibration. At the stage of carrying out a plan to solve a problem, concrete students carry out the accommodation. During this study, it was found that students 'habits in mathematical problem-solving did not plan to solve problems, did not re-examine answers, and there were students' habits by interpreting the final results of problems. It can be concluded that the students' concrete thinking processes in solving two-dimensional problems vary according to the stages of problem-solving.

Abstract

Technology always develops from time to time and is very closely related to real-life, which is to solve everyday problems. This study aims to describe the design of 3N-oriented TPACK-based mathematical computing modules (niteni, nirokke, nambahi). The method used is descriptive qualitative part of development research. This research resulted in an E-module design. Mathematical Computing E-Module has the following characteristics (1) containing the TPACK concept and 3N teachings that are designed to be attractive, (2) showing the appropriate 3N activities in the lecture process, and (3) inviting students to carry out niteni, nirokke, and nambahi activities during lesson. The design of 3N-Oriented TPACK based on Mathematical Computing E-Modules is declared valid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan unsur-unsur matematika (etnomatematika) pada bangunan Umbul Binangun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data-data yang dipakai adalah data yang didapat dari studi literatur, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Observasi dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi etnomatematika pada bangunan Umbul Binangun. Sedangkan literatur dan wawancara digunakan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam nilai-nilai budaya yang ada pada bangunan Umbul Binangun. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat unsur-unsur matematika (etnomatematika) pada bangunan Umbul Binangun, yaitu konsep persegi panjang, lingkaran, belah ketupat, dan garis sejajar.  Melalui kegiatan mengamati bangunan Umbul Binangun dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan etnomatematika menjelaskan bahwa unsur budaya dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika.Ethnomathematics at Umbul Binangun Building for geometry learningAbstractThis research was conducted to find mathematical elements (ethnomathematics) in the Umbul Binangun building. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data used are data obtained from literature studies, observation, documentation, and interviews. Observation and documentation are used to identify ethnomathematics in the Umbul Binangun building. Meanwhile, literature and interviews are used to read more deeply about the cultural values that exist in the Umbul Binangun building. This study's results show elements of mathematics (ethnomathematics) in the Umbul Binangun building, namely the concept of rectangles, circles, rhombuses, and parallel lines. Observing the Umbul Binangun building in mathematics learning with ethnomathematics explains that cultural elements can be used in learning mathematics

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the great catalysts that spurs transformation in the world of education. This encourages the importance of understanding teacher digital literacy in responding to educational transformation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) is to provide information and increase teacher knowledge of digital literacy during learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The PkM targets are teachers in the provinces of West Java, Central Java, East Java, and DIY. The activity carried out was to provide education about the importance of digital literacy in responding to the transformation of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The stages of this activity consist of 1) planning stage; 2) preparation stage, 3) implementation stage, and 4) evaluation stage. Before and after the activity, the PkM team provided a digital literacy questionnaire. The results of the PkM activity showed a significant increase in understanding of digital literacy, which was 21.3%.

Abstract

Internet of things  (IoT) lebih banyak mengambil peran dalam  segala bidang di era desruptif.  Pendidikan lebih ditekankan untuk berbasis digital dan paperless. Media cetak dalam pembelajaran semakin diminimalkan dan digeser dengan media digital agar lebih ramah lingkungan.  Tuntutan Internet of things  (IoT)  tetap harus mengedepankan budaya luhur bangsa Indonesia. Pembudayaan yang luhur merupakan dharma keempat dalam Catur Dharma Perguruan Tinggi Tamansiswa yang dapat dilakukan dengan membudayakan ajaran Ki Hadjar Dewantara pada pembelajaran. Salah satu ajaran Ki Hadjar Dewantara  adalah Tri N: niteni, nirokke, nambahi.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  desain e-book petunjuk praktikum IPA berbasis Tri N (niteni, nirokke, nambahi). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu desain e-book petunjuk praktikum IPA berbasis Tri N. Petunjuk praktikum IPA yang dihasilkan mempunyai karakteristik sebagai berikut yakni (1) berbentuk e-book, (2) memuat konsep ajaran Tri N  dalam kegiatan praktikum yang didesain menarik dalam bentuk tabel hubung kait yang disertai simbol, (3) menunjukkan akitifitas  Tri N yang sesuai  dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan praktikum, dan (4) mengajak praktikan untuk melakukan aktifitas niteni, nirokke, dan nambahi  selama praktikum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and determine mathematical critical thinking skills based on students' self-esteem. This research used a mixed method with a sequential explanatory research design. The research population was first year mathematics education students who took geometry courses, and the research samples were selected by way of purposive sampling technique. Research subjects were grouped based on high, medium, and low self-esteem categories to be interviewed about students' critical thinking skills. The research instruments were tests and interviews. The results showed that students had various mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of self-esteem. Four students possessed a high level of self-esteem as indicated  by the fact that two students’ mathematical critical thinking skills results were classified in high category while the remaining two students were in medium category. Of 25 students who had moderate self-esteem, 5 students obtained high category in the results of their mathematical critical thinking skills, 14 students had their result in moderate category students, and 6 students were in the low category. Of 3 students with low self-esteem, one student had their results of the mathematical critical thinking ability result in the high category and two students had their result in the low category. It can be concluded that there is less significant correlation between self-esteem and students' critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, there are three different levels in students' critical thinking skills in terms of self-esteem at high, medium, and low levels.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi perkembangan zaman yang sangat pesat, kompetensi mahasiswa harus lebih disiapkan agar mampu memenuhi tuntutan zaman. Perguruan Tinggi sebagai tingkatan tertinggi dalam dunia pendidikan, harus mampu menyiapkan generasi-generasi penerus bangsa untuk mampu menghadapi masa depan yang berubah cepat. Pemerintah membantu pencapaian Perguruan Tinggi melalui Program Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dengan harapan mampu meningkatkan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa. Penelitian ini diadakan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan program MBKM terhadap peningkatan hard skills mahasiswa. Untuk memperoleh data, dilakukan survei menggunakan kuesioner online terhadap 83 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program MBKM dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi, kemampuan menulis dan riset, kemampuan dalam menggunakan bahasa asing, kemampuan dalam mengajar, kemampuan dalam mengoperasikan berbagai perangkat elektronik, dan kemampuan dalam menggunakan berbagai software

Abstract

After confirming the positive case on March 2, 2020, online learning and distance learning is one of the alternatives for learning that is carried out in Indonesia. Apart from the advantages and disadvantages, this learning is an alternative so that learning continues during the COVID-19 pandemic. In connection with this condition, research in the field of education must also adapt to several new phenomena such as limited face-to-face learning, so researchers need to think about research designs that are relevant to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Single subject research or often referred to as Single Case Experiment Design is one of the alternative research methods that can be carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, where one of the characteristics of this research is to focus on one subject, so there is no need to use relatively large subjects to conduct experiments.
