Abstract

Vaksinasi Covid-19 merupakan salah satu usaha untuk membentuk Herd Immunity di masa pandemic Covid-19 yang masih berlangsung. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah meningkatkan cakupan vaksinasi untuk masyarakat umum dan lintas agama tanpa membeda-bedakan suku, agama, bahasa dan ras sehingga terbentuk herd immunity. Metoda pelaksanaan melalui pengabdian masyarakat bermitra dengan kepolisian resort kabupaten Pekalongan, dinas kesehatan kabupaten Pekalongan, dan Rumah Sakit Islam Aisyiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan. Bentuk kegiatan berupa pelayanan vaksinasi di aula Kampus II Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan selama 3 hari dari tanggal 3 sampai 6 Agustus 2021. Hasil kegiatan telah dilakukan vaksinasi dengan sasaran 1482 orang, sasaran yang ditunda vaksinasinya 23 orang. Jumlah vaksin terpakai 135 vial. Kejjadian ikutan paska imunisasi tidak ada. Simpulan kegiatan adalah pelayanan vaksinasi dapat meningkatkan cakupan vaksinasi di kabupaten Pekalongan.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a global pandemic that has become the worid’s attention. The Indonesia government has declared COVID-19 a National Disaster. As front – line health care providers, nurses have a high risk af being exposed to COVID-19. Compliance using personal protective equipment ( PPE ) is essential in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. Objective this study aims to determine the relationship between personal protective equipment compliance and the incidence of COVID-19 among nurses at Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Hospital. Sample this study involved all nurses at Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Hospital as many as 143 respondents ( Response rate 93 % ). Methods a descriptive correlative study with a cross – sectional approach was used. Data were collection using a self – protection compliance questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using chi – square. The results showed that most of the nurses aged 26 – 35 years ( 60.2 % ), female ( 66.9 % ), had a three years Nursing education ( 85 % ) with a working period of 5 years ( 76.7 ), and did not comply with the use of personal protective equipment ( 72.9% ) and had never been confirmed positive for COVID-19 ( p – value < 0.001; OR = 11.23 ). This study indicatet that nurses who comply with personal protective equipment have an 11 times chance of not experiencing COVID – 19. Conclusion compliance with the use of personal protective equipment is critical in preventing the transmission of COVID – 19 to nurses.

Abstract

Booster vaccination is very necessary for the community to avoid COVID-19; however, this booster can cause side effects. Therefore, this needs to be anticipated so that these side effects do not cause problems. This study aims to obtain the side effects of Booster Covid- 19 vaccination at adults. A total of 46 respondents were selected using the cluster sampling technique. This study applied a descriptive design of data collection using a check list. The results stated that all (100%) booster vaccine users get side effects, the booster used here are Moderna, Sinovac, and Pfizer. It could be concluded all respondents have effect sides.
