Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) Analyze the influence of finance, unemployment, and poverty partially on income inequality from 2010 to 2017. (2) Analyze the effect of economic, unemployment, and poverty simultaneously on income inequality. (3) Analyzing the variables that are most dominant affecting income inequality.                This research is quantitative. The data used in the study are secondary data obtained through the Central Statistics Agency from districts/cities in South Kalimantan. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative analysis using panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model.               This study's results are based on panel data regression analysis, which states the economy has no significant effect, significant unemployment, and poverty significantly affect income inequality in 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop strategies that need to be carried out in developing Bukit Matang Kaladan Tourism Object, (2) know the contribution of Bukit Matang Kaladan Tourism Object to the village's original income, and (3) know the role of government in developing Bukit Matang Tourism Object Kaladan. Respondents in this study were six respondents who were considered influential and experts. They knew the tourism situation, especially in Banjar District, which was used in data processing using the SWOT method. This study provides the results of developing the strategy that best suits the situation is the SO strategy (1) With the superiority of the landscape and maintaining a conducive tourist environment; tourists will continue to visit these attractions, plus a strategic location. (2) Maximizing the role of POKDARWIS and training provided by the Banjar Regency Culture and Tourism Office to promote tourism objects with the opportunities that are already available.

Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) Determine the effect of the Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Funds for Capital Expenditures. (2) Determine the effect of the Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Funds, and Capital Expenditures on the Economy. This research is a quantitative study using the Simultaneous Equation Model with Eviews 10 Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS) method. The data used in the study were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan Province and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance 2011-2018.The results of phase 1 research with the best model Fixed Effect Model show that simultaneously Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Funds significantly affect capital expenditure. However, the Regional Original Revenue variable partially has no significant effect on capital expenditure. While the second stage of research with the best model Random Effect Model shows the results that simultaneously or partially, the variables of Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Funds, and predictive Capital Expenditures have a significant effect on Economic Growth.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the rate of growth, level of contribution, level of effectiveness, and trends of motor vehicle taxes and motor vehicle name transfer fees to local taxes in the province of South Kalimantan. This research uses a descriptive quantitative analysis method; the data used is secondary data obtained from digital files available from the Regional Finance Agency and the official website of the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan Province, which is accessed through the website.The results of this study are the average motor vehicle tax growth rate of 11% and the transfer fee of motor vehicle names by 6%. The contribution rate of motor vehicle tax is 24.71% on average, and the transfer of motor vehicle name transfer fee is 22.75%. The effectiveness of motorized vehicle taxes is, on average, 100%, and the transfer fee for motorized vehicles is 99.3%. Then the trend method that is good for both taxes is the quadratic trend method.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the strength of the relationship between the number of tourists, hotel occupancy rates, and household consumption expenditures on hotel tax revenue in Banjarmasin City. The research scope is hotel tax in Banjarmasin City using multiple linear regression analysis with quantitative descriptive data collection techniques from secondary data sourced from literature (literature) and official data.This research results in a joint influence between the number of tourists, hotel occupancy rates, and household consumption expenditures on hotel tax revenue in Banjarmasin City. Meanwhile, only partially the number of tourists has a positive and significant effect. In line with the test results, the most dominant influencing variable is the number of tourists.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) know the amount of potential parking tax in Banjarmasin City, (2) know the effectiveness of the parking tax in Banjarmasin City, and (3) know the level of parking tax contribution to local tax revenue in Banjarmasin City.This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data types used in this study are primary and secondary, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature.The study results show that the potential of the Banjarmasin parking tax is greater than the revenue or realization in the previous year. The level of effectiveness of the Banjarmasin City parking tax in 2015-2019 averages 98.19% or is in the effective category. Meanwhile, the parking tax contribution to Banjarmasin City's local tax revenue in 2015-2019 has an average of 2.73% or is in the very poor category.

Abstract

This study determines the role of balancing and profit-sharing funds for economic growth and a general allocation of funds for economic inequality. This study uses a scatter plot analysis of Klassen Typology in thirteen districts/cities in South Kalimantan from 2011-2019. The Klassen Typology here is divided into three years of observation. Two thousand eleven as a base year, 2015 as a middle year, and 2019 as a final year of observation. The observations are divided into balancing and profit-sharing funds for economic growth and general allocation funds for economic inequality. The secondary data used are from the Badan Pusat Statistik Kalimantan Selatan, which consists of data on the rate of economic growth and Gini Ratio, and from Direktorat Jenderal Perimbangan Keuangan used of balancing funds, profit sharing funds, and general allocation funds data.The Klassen Typology with the best results for balancing funds on economic growth is in quadrant II, with low balancing funds and high for economic growth. The regions that have improved economic growth are Banjar, Balangan, Kotabaru, Tanah Bumbu, Tanah Laut, and Tabalong; there are so many being in quadrant II, both in 2011-2019. The role of profit-sharing funds on economic growth is in quadrant I as the best result with high profit-sharing funds and high economic growth. Barito Kuala, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Hulu Sungai Tengah, and Hulu Sungai Utara have improved their economic growth over three years of comparison. The role of general allocation funds in economic inequality is in quadrant III for the best with high general allocation funds and low economic inequality. The regions with economic inequality decreased are Balangan, Barito Kuala, Tapin, Tanah Laut, Hulu Sungai Tengah, and Hulu Sungai Utara.
