Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan prosedur penelitian yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiyono. Penelitian Sugiyono menerapkan 10 langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan. Sedangkan pada penelitian ini menggunakan 5 tahap dari 10 tahap, yaitu identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain dan revisi desain. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan vokasional konstruksi bangunan UNJ angkatan 2017 pada mata kuliah teknologi beton. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan media flashcard ini setelah divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Melalui validasi ahli media, media flashcard dikategorikan baik dengan persentase 75,71%. Sedangkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, menyatakan bahwa media dikategorikan sangat baik dengan presentase 81,43%. Secara keseluruhan, media flashcard teknologi beton ini layak untuk digunakan pada mata kuliah teknologi beton.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between teacher’s instructional communication and learning outcomes in the form of final exam in the subjects of Class X Land Measurement Science expertise in Modeling and Building Information expertise program at SMKN 1 Jakarta. The type of research used in this study is associative quantitative research. The method used is a survey method with a correlational approach. The population in this study were class X students of the Permodean Design and Building Information program at SMK 1 Jakarta, as many as 102 people. The sample in this study used the Random Sampling technique which was tested on 80 students. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between instructional communication and learning outcomes as evidenced by: correlation coefficient value of 0.601 which is included in the category of strong relationships, the significance value of the correlation coefficient t count = 6.851 and t table = 1.991 which indicates a significant relationship, and the relationship between instructional communication and final exam learning outcomes is obtained by the determination coefficient value of 0.376. So the instructional communication factor can influence learning outcomes, which is 37.6%, and the rest is influenced by other factors beyond instructional communication skills.

Abstract

Multiple choice test is generally used in midterm examinations, especially for the tenth grade students of Graphics Engineering in SMKN 1 Jakarta. Some of the subjects which use this type of test are Building Construction and Engineering Graphics. Nevertheless, the quality of each question of the tests has not been proven yet. Therefore, analysis towards the quality of each question on the test is needed. This research aims to know the quality of each question in multiple choice tests made by teacher for all subjects in civil engineering program SMKN 1 Jakarta. Qualitative descriptive method would be used in this research. The result of this research shows that Building Construction and Engineering Graphics have good content validity and construct validity, high reliability questions, proper difficulty levels (proportionally divided), effective tricky questions, and properly used bahasa Indonesia. Thus, hese multiple choice questions can be used as a reference in making other multiple choice questions for the next midterm examination week, under the condition that improvements are done throughoutly in order to achieve maximum result. To this point, it can be concluded that multiple choice questions, in graphics engineering program already have good quality.

Abstract

The objectives of this research was designed to : (1) Develop interactive multimedia learning of class X of engineering mechanics on the simple beam construction subjects. (2) Determine the feasibility of the developed media learning. (3) Knowing whether the resulting product can improve learning outcomes in a simple beam construction subjects.This research is a R&D (Research and Development). The method used is an experimental method. Validated by expert instructional media content and media experts to get the feasibility trial. Further trials conducted on students of class X of expertise Building Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta totaling 83 people. Analysis results of students learning used t-test independent samples of the two parties with software SPSS 22.The results of this development means that the experimental class obtain the mean difference in learning outcomes (pre -test and post-test ) of 38.46 and a spike of 19.21 % . While the control class, obtained a mean difference of learning outcomes (pre -test and post-test ) of 26.59 and a spike of 13.3% . So we can conclude interactive multimedia learning development more effectively used in the learning process of engineering mechanics in class X SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta

Abstract

Implementation of Field Work Practice (FWP) for Vocational High School (VHS) students is one of the programs planned as a means for students to improve competence in both soft skills and hard skills, besides that by carrying out FWP students get learning and training bythe world of work. Every student supervisor or teacher has difficulty evaluating the results of street vendors, due to the lack of references obtained by student supervisors in implementing the street vendors program at VHS. This study aims to identify and analyze various approaches and evaluation models that have been used in the implementation of street vendors in VHS students. This research method uses a systematic literature review (SLR) with a descriptive explanatory type of research to gain a comprehensive understanding of the evaluation of the street vendors program implementation. This study found 50 articles on the topic of street vendors from various disciplines, but 15 research articles that were appropriate to the topic of Technology and Engineering came from various literary sources or based on the database found on Google Scholar. This study produced three evaluation models, namely the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model with 15 articles, the discrepancy model with 3 articles, and the goal-oriented model with 2 articles. The contribution of this research is expected to increase understanding of the evaluation of the implementation of the street vendors program for VHS students and to lay a strong basis for the development of better evaluations in the future.
