Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the description of Geography Learning Innovation carried out by teachers in SMA Negeri Kota Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive pattern. So that this writing will describe, record, explain and explain the problems being studied. The selection of informants was done by purposive sampling. The research data was obtained through face-to-face and direct questions and answers with respondents with interview guidelines to informants after which data reduction was carried out then the data was presented, verified and drawing conclusions. The results revealed that the application of innovation was carried out, namely the teacher providing learning material interspersed with questions and answers, suggesting examples combined with image media, maps and globes, and laptops so that students better understand and easily master the learning material. The obstacles faced by teachers in implementing learning innovations at Public Senior High Schools in Kota Pariaman are: limitations in the availability of instructional text books, funds for geography field practice have not been supported, limited learning time and the lack of available time allocation. Efforts made by the teacher include adding material from other sources to enrich the material, preparing learning media, digital maps, globes, photos, illustration images, preparing assessment techniques that are in accordance with the learning objectives, providing feedback on the learning process and results, making remedials and provide enrichment ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Inovasi Pembelajaran Geografi kurikulum 2013 yang dilaksanakan guru Di SMA Negeri Kota Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan menggunakan pola deskriptif. Sehingga penulisan ini akan mendeskripsikan, mencatat, menjelaskan dan memaparkan permasalahan yang diteliti. Pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui cara bertatap muka dan tanya jawab secara langsung dengan responden dengan pedoman wawancara kepada informan setelah itu dilakukan reduksi data kemudian data disajikan, diverifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa penerapan inovasi yang dilakukan yaitu guru melakukan inovasi pada perangkat pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembalajaran serta memberikan materi pembelajaran diselingi tanya jawab, mengemukakan contoh contoh dikombinasi dengan media gambar, peta dan globe, dan laptop agar siswa lebih memahami, dan mudah menguasai materi pembelajaran. Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkan inovasi pembelajaran pada SMA Negeri di Kota Pariaman yaitu: keterbatasan dalam ketersediaan buku teks pembelajaran, keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung, keterbatasan dana untuk praktik lapangan geografi belum mendukung, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran dan sedikitnya alokasi waktu yang tersedia. Upaya yang dilakukan guru yaitu menambah materi dari sumber lain untuk memperkaya bahan materi, mempersiapkan media pembelajaran, peta digital, globe, foto, gambar ilustrasi, mempersiapkan teknik penilaian yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, memberikan umpan balik terhadap proses dan hasil pembalajaran, melakukan remidial dan memberikan pengayaan

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi tentang pengetahuan Kebencanaan warga sekolah pada sekolah dasar di Zona merah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif . Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh sekolah dasar yansg berada di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yaitu dengan jumlah 406 sekolah dasar sedangkan yang menjadi sampel adalah sekolah yang berada di zona merah atau dekat dengan garis pantai yaitu sebanyak 9 sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Subjek penelitian ini adalah warga sekolah di sekolah dasar yang terdiri dari guru, siswa, dan Petugas sekolah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Persentase. hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengetahuan kebencanaan guru terhadap gempa bumi dan tsunami tergolong Tinggi yaitu dengan persentase 82 % , Sedangkan pada pengetahuan kebencanaan siswa Terhadap gempa bumi dan tsunami tergolong Tinggi yaitu dengan persentase sebesar 91 %, kemudian pada petugas Sekolah yang terdiri dari Operator, Penjaga Perpustakaan, dan penjaga sekolah tergolong Tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 74 %. Pengetahuan Kebencanaan warga sekolah terhadap gempa bumi dan tsunami selalu ditingkatkan melalui sosialisasi & simulasi oleh KOGAMI dan BNPB, selain itu dari pihak sekolah selalu memberikan informasi melalui materi pelajaran serta dari Organisasi Siswa seperti Pramuka dan PMI. Tujuannya agar warga sekolah selalu antisipasi serta menanamkan kuat mental terhadap bencana agar ketika terjadi bencana mereka tidak panik.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to determine the effect of the application of active learning type of Hollywood Squares using LKS to the results of learning geography students class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency. The hypothesis in this study is "There is a significant influence on the application of active learning of the type of Hollywood Squares using LKS to the students' geography result of grade XI SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency". This type of research is quasi-experimental, with randomized control only design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency enrolled in the 2016/2017 academic year, selected sample using cluster random sampling technique, which selected XI IPS2 class as control class and class XI IPS1 as experiment class. To test the hypothesis used two equality test (t) at the 0.05 level.The result of the data analysis shows that the experimental class has an average value of cognitive domain of 81.25 while the control class has a mean of cognitive domain of 73.88. The calculation of the cognitive sphere t obtained (95) (62) is 1.66. Thus the hypothesis presented earlier can be accepted at 95% confidence level. Based on this it can be concluded that the application of active learning type Hollywood Squares using LKS can improve learning outcomes geography class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Prospects of Saribu Tourism of Rumah Gadang in Solok Selatan Regency, 2) Efforts to increase the number of visitors to Saribu Tourism Object of Rumah Gadang Solok Selatan Regency. This type of research uses the mix methode with a sequential explanatory strategy. The population of this study were all visitors of the Saribu Tourism Object. The sample of respondents consisted of 33 people. 23 tourists and 10 tour managers. Data collection techniques include observasion, questionnaire interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using SWOT analysis technique. The result showed that the prospec of attractions of the Saribu Gadang house was seen from the knowledge of tourism 54% knew from friend or family. For 50% accessibilty, it is quite good, transportations 47% using a motorcycle. Facilities and infrastuctures supporting tourist objects are deemed insufficient. Cultural attractions that are not continiu. In an effort to increase the number of visitors in the future by completing the lack of infrastrukur, increasing promotions and publications, repairing samaged roads, and attracting more attractions

Abstract

This study aims to determine the settlement patterns of 2006-2017 and the development of settlements in the Mandiangin District of Koto Selayan, Bukittinggi City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was Mandiangin Koto Selayan District and the sample in this study was a settlement in the Mandiangin District of Koto Selayan. Analysis using the closest neighbor method with the help of ArcGIS 10.1 software. The results in this study are, 1. 2006 settlement patterns, Nearest Neighbor Ratio 1.020039 with Expected Mean Distance of 180.164770 and z-score -0.392828 T interval (nearest neighbor index) between 0.7 to 1.4. This shows that the distribution of settlements in Mandiangin Koto Selayan District is random. 2. 2017 settlement patterns, Nearest Neighbor Ratio 1.725348 with Expected Mean Distance 378.264177 and z-score -5,550569 T intervals (nearest neighbor index) between 1.4 to 2.15. This shows that the distribution of settlements in the Mandiangin District of Koto Selayan is dispersed. 3. Development of settlements in 2006-2017 in the Mandiangin District of Koto Selayan, which is 3,238,123m2. Keywords: Settlement Patterns, Development of Settlements

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the teacher profile of geography subjects in Padang City High School. The things meant are 1) the teacher's general identity, 2) self-development, 3) scientific publications and 4) innovative work. Type of quantitative descriptive research. The population is all geography teachers in Padang City and the sample is taken as a whole (total sampling), with a total of 68 people. Sources of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques with 1) observation, 2) questionnaire 3) documentation. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded 1) The general identity condition of geography teachers in Padang City High School consisting of ranks / groups is mostly IVA (56.52%), the last level of education is the majority of S1 (85.29%), tertiary universities from the majority of UNP ( 70.59%), the majority of teaching time is in the range of 31-35 years (29.42%), the majority employment status of civil servants (63.24%), the majority certification year is 2008 (31.42%). 2) Teacher self-development consisting of post-certification education with a percentage (8.57%), teachers who attended training during 2014 - 2019 with a percentage (30.88%), seminar activities as resource persons with a percentage (2.94%) , workshop activities with a percentage (2.94%). 3) Teacher scientific publications based on the results of research reports in education (2.94%), based on scientific writing (1.47%), and based on textbook publications (1.47%). 4) The innovative work of the teacher has a percentage that is, based on learning media, arts and methods (0%). So the quality of geography teachers in Padang City is still low as seen from the small number of teachers involved in self-development activities, scientific publications and very few teachers who have innovative work. Efforts in overcoming this problem are teachers taking part in training related to scientific publications and innovative works and the government is providing more training related to scientific publications and innovative works in order to improve the professionalism of geography teachers in Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru geografi tentang KTSP dan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Pariaman meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Informan penelitian ini seluruh guru geografi yang telah menerapkan KTSP dan kurikulum 2013 berjumlah 12 orang. Dan tiga informan kunci diambil dengan teknik snowball untuk memvalidasi data dengan teknik triangulasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, data display, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan: 1).Secara umum guru mempersepsikan dalam perencanaan lebih baik KTSP daripada kurikulum 2013 karena penyusunan silabus dan RPP disesuaikan dengan peserta didik. 2).Secara umum guru mempersepsikan dalam pelaksanaan lebih baik kurikulum 2013 daripada KTSP karena peserta didik lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran. 3).Secara umum guru mempersepsikan dalam penilaian lebih baik KTSP daripada kurikulum 2013 karena penilaian dalam kurikulum 2013 yang dilakukan banyak.Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Penerapan KTSP, Penerapan Kurikulum 2013

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang Identifikasi Fisik Bumi untuk Memetakan Sumber – Sumber Belajar Berbasis Lingkungan di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Jenis Penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di lingkungan dan SMAN/MAN di daerah Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah fisik muka bumi yang ada di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan Google Earth dan ArcGIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Di Kabupaten Tanah Datar terdapat beragam jenis dan persebaran fisik muka bumi yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar yang berbasis lingkungan diantaranya (1) Sungai (Batang Anai, Batang Selo, Batang Sinamar, Batang Ombilin, dan Batang Sumpur). (2) Danau (Danau Singkarak). (3) Gunung (Marapi, Singgalang, dan Sago). (4) Gua (Ngalau Pangean). (5) Telaga (Telaga Koto Baru, Kayu Tanduak, Aia Taganang). (6) Air Terjun (Lembah Anai). 2. Berdasarakan pemetaan, kondisi fisik di Kabupaten Tanah Datar layak di jadikan sumber belajar, karena kriteria pemilihan sumber belajar dan aspek lainnya mendukung untuk menjadikan sumber belajar mata pelajaran geografi SMA/MA kelas X SK (Menganalisis unsur-unsur Geosfer) KD 3.1 (menganalisis dinamika & kecenderungan perubahan litosfer dan pedosfer serta dampaknya terhadap kehidupan di muka bumi) dan 3.3 (Menganalisis hidrosfer dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan di muka bumi)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan spiritual mahasiswa dengan tingkat indeks prestasi kumulatif di Jurusan Geografi FIS UNP. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian Deskripsi Korelasional dengan Populasi mahasiswa S1 aktif jurusan Geografi FIS UNP masa studi dibawah 4 tahun sebanyak 723 orang. Kemudian sampel yang dipergunakan adalah mahasiswa jurusan geografi BP 2013 dan 2014, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Stratified Random Sampling maka sesuai perhitungan kriteria pengambilan sampel diperoleh sampel sebanyak 30 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi dan 21 mahasiswa Program Studi Geografi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Penelitian ini menemukan: nilai signifikansi 0,000 ≤ 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan IPK adalah signifikan. Koefisien korelasi kecerdasan spiritual (X) dengan IPK (Y) yaitu sebesar 0,550 dengan keeratan hubungan termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan kecerdasan spiritual merupakan variabel yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dan positif indeks prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa di Jurusan Geografi FIS UNP

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of learning or daily tests of students who dropped dramatically in KD 3.4 concerning the dynamics of planet Earth as a space of life. This study aims to determine the factors that cause students' difficulties in understanding geography subject matter in odd semester about the dynamics of planet Earth as a space of life and the efforts made by students and teachers in overcoming it. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Research informants are teachers and class X students consisting of X MIA 1, X MIA 8 and X IIS whose learning outcomes in KD 3.4 are incomplete or under KKM. Difficulty in understanding the material because the material is too difficult so that makes students less able to digest, remember, and understand the material. While the factors that cause students difficulty in understanding subject matter are lack of interest in reading and not repeating lessons, teachers, subject matter, study habits, and the role of parents. Efforts made by students in overcoming difficulties understanding the subject matter are self-study by re-reading textbooks, browsing and searching on the internet, asking friends and teachers. While the efforts made by the teacher are repeating and reviewing material that is not yet understood by students conducting remedial to students whose grades are below KKM, and conducting evaluations.
