Abstract

There are thousands of digital-based startups in Indonesia but only few have a sustainable business development. One of the reasons is the products created by startups are not in accordance with market needs. Fashion is one of the startups that has the potential to develop in the digital age, because it is one of the second largest subsectors that contribute to the Indonesian economy. In the field of fashion, especially in customized clothing, the main obstacle experienced by business participants is low competitiveness against those who owns a branded business. This is indicated by dissatisfaction with the quality of the service, which resulted in unfaithful users. This research aims to explore the interaction between custom clothing businesses and their users so that the concerns coming from both parties can be used as the basis for creating digital-based solutions. This research focused in exploring the interaction between tailors and sewing service users using a design thinking approach. Qualitative method is used in this research and information is gathered using survey strategy. Data collection is conducted by in-depth interviews with tailors and sewing service users. Observation is also used to understand the tailor’s daily activities. The result shows that there is concern between tailors and their users. Proposed idea as a digital-based solution is project management with transparent sewing service process that can be seen by sewing service users. This research is limited to the stage of formulating digital feature ideas which can be used as the basis for designing rapid prototypes. Validation of the prototype can be conducted in the next study.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed at finding out whether or not: (1) there is a significant influence between Self-efficacy and students` reading achievement; (2) there is a significant influence between Reading Interest and students` reading achievement; (3) there is a significant influence between Self-efficacy and Reading Interest to students` reading achievement. The population of this study consisted of 857 students of The Eighth grade students of State school in Baturaja Timur Subdistrict namely SMP Negeri 9 OKU, SMP Negeri 13 OKU, SMP Negeri 23 OKU, SMP Negeri 32 OKU and SMP Negeri 34 OKU in academic year 2013/2014. The try-out was done in SMP Negeri 34 OKU with 32 respondents. In this research, the writer used sample size so the writer get size of sample population based on table of sample size, the writer got 343 students at 95% confidence level from 857 students. The researcher took the sample by using simple random sampling. The result showed that (1) there was a significant influence between students’ self-efficacy and reading achievement of the eighth grade students of State Schools in Baturaja Timur Subdistrict, (2) there was a significant influence between students’ reading interest and reading achievement of the eighth grade students of State Schools in Baturaja Timur Subdistrict, (3) there were a significant influence among students’ self-efficacy and reading interest toward reading achievement of the eighth grade students of State Schools in Baturaja Timur Subdistrict. Key Word: Self-efficacy, Reading Interest and Reading Achievement

Abstract

Hydroxyapatite (HA) is a ceramic that can be used as bone implants and teeth. Hydroxyapatite can be synthesized from Calcium Oxyde (CaO) commercial reacted by ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (NH4H2PO4). The purpose of this research are to determine the effect of time and temperature on characteristic of HA synthesis by low temperature hydrothermal method as well as to determine the kinetics model of HA synthesis by using the approach of shrinking core models. There are 3 models are used, the diffusion through liquid film, diffusion through HA layer, and chemical reactions. The procedure was started with synthesized 36.9 gr NH4H2PO4 was dissolved in 600 mL of water and then added 30 gr CaO with temperature of 70°C, 80°C, 90°C and reaction time of 10 minutes - 480 minutes. The mixture was stirred rate of 300 rpm until paste formed. Then the paste was dried in the oven at temperature 120°C for 12 hours and calcined at a temperature of 900oC for 1 hour. The results of this research showed that obtained products were containing 97% HA. The best of kinetic model that described HA synthesis was model of diffusion through HA layer , with formula:Keywords: hydroxyapatite, hydrothermal, CaO, kinetics model, shrinking core.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to found out the kinds of teacher talk that used by English teacher during the classroom interaction and to know the students’ perception about teacher talk in classroom. The population of this research was 162 students of seventh grade students. The researcher only took 32 students as the sample by applying purposive sampling. The data were collected through observation and questionnaire. Then the researcher used descriptive method for analyzing the data. The result of this research showed that the teacher used all kinds of teacher talk while giving questions and feedback. In giving questions, teacher used procedural questions (23%), display questions (70%), and referential questions (7%). In giving feedbacks, the teacher used informing (38%), prompting (23%), encouragement (8%), criticizing (23%), ignoring (8%) as the feedbacks for incorrect answer. And for correct answer, the teacher used praising (75%) and summarizing (25%) in the class. For the students’ perception toward teacher talk used by the teacher while giving questions and feedbacks, the students agreed that teacher always use all of the feedback except ignoring. It concluded that the teacher talk which teacher used while giving questions and feedbacks in the English class of the seventh grade students at SMPN 23 OKU is good. In addition, English teachers in Junior High School were suggested to develop and improve their basic ability in managing their talk, especially the ability in giving the appropriate questions and good feedbacks to the students in English class. With all the type of their talk, the interaction between the teacher and the students will be built and increase. The teacher must be a good facilitator and motivator to the students in learning English.

Abstract

Onions are used fresh food of Indonesian society as a culinary spice supplement. Needs onions in Riau Province is very high, while the local onion production can not meet the needs of the community onions. Therefore do import onions from overseas such as Thailand. But in practice, many violations committed by businesses onions with committing a criminal act of smuggling onions to the province of Riau. Therefore, the active role of civil servant investigators (investigators) Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru in terms of supervision and enforcement is needed. The purpose of this thesis, namely: First, the process of investigation of criminal smuggling of onions illegal by investigators Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru Second, obstacles to the investigation of criminal smuggling of onions illegal by investigators Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru Third, efforts to overcome obstacles in the investigation the crime of illegal smuggling of onions by investigators Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru.This type of research used in writing this law is the law of sociological research that in this study the authors directly conduct research on the locations or places studied in order to give a complete picture of the issues examined. Meanwhile, the population and the sample is a whole party with regard to the issues examined in this study, the data source used, primary data, secondary data, and the data tertiary, data collection techniques in this study by observation, interview and literature studyFrom the research there are three main things that can be inferred. First, the process of investigation of criminal smuggling of illegal onions by investigators Agriculture Quarantine Center Class I Pekanbaru not run optimally because the main actors (Intelctual dader) was not found. Therefore the criminal cases of smuggling of onions illegal still a lot going on in the province of Riau, Second, barriers in conducting criminal investigations of smuggling onions illegal ie, Act Quarantine no longer relevant to the quarantine modern, factors geographic location of Riau province close to the Strait of Malacca which is a line of international trade, a factor of coordination with related parties running with no opptimal, Third, efforts made to overcome these barriers is to renew the Quarantine Act, increased coordination with relevant parties such conduct coordination meetings, etc .. Suggestions Writer, first, to the government to improve performance in the areas of quarantine, and increased coordination with the relevant parties, Second, Opening Dumai port as the inclusion of fresh food, Third, to the community to increase awareness of the law by providing reports when aware of criminal acts of illegal smuggling of onions.Keywords: Investigation - Crime - Smuggling Onions

Abstract

Covid-19 spreads rapidly and needs to be broken off the transmission chain not to become infected in humans. An effective way of staying at home is by adopting a clean and healthy lifestyle, avoiding contact with sufferers, wearing a mask if you have to be outside the house, avoiding crowds and maintaining physical distance, coughing and sneezing etiquette. This activity aims to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 and increase small businesses' income in making masks. This activity is carried out in several places: a nursing home in West Sumatra, an orphanage in the city of Padang, a mosque in Sungayang Batu Sangkar. Furthermore, it was also carried out at RSIA Sayang Ibu and Harapan Ibunda Hospital Batu Sangkar. The method used is community empowerment in making masks. The results of the activities obtained were: making 1000 masks by empowering the tailoring business. Meanwhile, the manufacture of face shields is carried out by health workers. Furthermore, the masks were distributed to several nursing homes in West Sumatra, orphanages in the city of Padang, mosques in Sungayang Batu Sangkar. Meanwhile, the distribution of personal protective equipment in face shields and hazmat suits was handed over to RSIA Sayang Ibu and Harapan Ibunda Hospital Batu Sangkar. The distribution of personal protective equipment also carried out an educational program about Covid-19 to the public via radio, streamed on SIPP FM. Implementing this activity can be realized by carrying out practical activities by proving that students and lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine Unand can take part even under challenging conditions during this pandemic.

Abstract

Uji Salmonella-Shigella pada telur ayam yang disimpan pada suhu dan waktu yang berbeda dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Mikroba diidentifikasi di Komplek Lik Ulu Gadut Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Industri Balai Riset dan Standardisasi (Baristand) Industri Padang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa waktu dan suhu penyimpanan telur ayam yang berbeda tidak ada hubungannya dengan keberadaan Salmonella-Shigella.  Kata kunci: Salmonella, Shigella, mikroba, deskriptif

Abstract

Customs and Excise is a government agency that serves the public in the field of customs and excise. the purpose of this study is to determine the Impact of the Implementation of Excise Tariff Policy for Containing Ethyl Alcohol in Southern Sulawesi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis of data by describing or describing data that has been collected as it is. The results of the study were the decrease in MMEA excise tax receipts due to the decrease in MMEA excise band orders. From 2017 to 2019 it always experiences fluctuations as a result of the existence of local government regulations regarding restrictions on the sale of alcoholic beverages, Sulbagsel Customs and Excise Regional Office always conducts socialization and guidance if there is a new policy from the government. Abstract

development and increasing welfare. The city government collects several types of taxes including restaurant tax. This study aims to determine the application of restaurant tax at the Fatmawati Fried Chicken Restaurant. The method used in this research is qualitative research, the restaurant tax collection procedure carried out by the restaurant is in accordance with the Regional Regulation by using a tariff of ten percent of the price of food and beverages as the basis for imposition of taxes (DPP). Deposit is applied by using Regional Tax Payment (SSPD) which is deposited together with tax that has been collected. The application of Restaurant Tax Reporting is carried out using a Regional Tax Return (SPTPD) which is carried out at the Makassar City Bapenda no later than the 20th of the following month. Based on the data received by the researchers, from July to December 2019 it can be concluded that the Fatmawati Fried Chicken Restaurant is late every month in depositing its taxes from this study. 2018 concerning Restaurant Tax. Keywords: Restaurant Tax, Collection, Deposit and Reporting, Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2018

Abstract

The imposition of advertisement tax shall be carried out on the person or entity that manages the advertisement. The basis for the imposition of advertisement tax is the Advertisement Rental Value, which is determined through the Billboard Tax Object Sales Value and the Strategic Value of Advertising Signs. This research was conducted at CV Iqra '99 Makassar which is a company in the field of Printing and Digital Printing with a qualitative descriptive approach that processes primary and secondary data. The results showed that CV Iqra 99 Makassar determined the Billboard Tax Object Sales Value by reporting to the Makassar City Revenue Service regarding the size of the billboard, the type of billboards and the advertisement period. Meanwhile, to determine the Strategic Value of the Iqra 99 Makassar Billboard Installation Makassar will report the Installation Location which is the customer's order point. Application of Makassar Mayor Regulation No. 40 of 2015 concerning Determination of Billboard Rental Value is expected to be able to help the billboard entrepreneurs in the process of calculating the amount of advertisement tax and to be an important part of enforcing tax regulations in Makassar.Keywords: Advertisement Tax, Advertisement Rental Value, NJOPR, NSPR
