#### Abstract

Problem statement of the research was whether cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was effective viewed from students’ learning motivation in Math at VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga. The objective of the research was to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type viewed from students’ learning motivation in Math at VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga. This research was a quantitative research. The research using quasi experimental design. Population of the research was all students of VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga in odd semester, academic year 2021/2022. There were two classes with the total number of student was 39 students. Sample of the research was all students, which were class VII A as experimental class which taught using Cooperative Learning model of Jigsaw type, and class B as a control class which taught using reguler learning model. Instrument of the research was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this research used descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of the research showed that based on descriptive analysis, it was found that mean score of students’ motivation from experimental class and control class were 18,85 and 10,74. Based on inferential analysis, it could be seen that data was normal and homogeny. Learning motivation data was tested using independent sample test analysis. The result showed that students learning motivation which taught using cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was in sig. 0.004˂0.05, it meant that H0 was rejected. From this result, it could be concluded that cooperative learning of Jigsaw type was effective viewed from studens’ learning motivation in Math at VII grade of SMP Negeri 5 Batauga.

#### Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Katobengke dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal cerita pada pokok bahasan bilangan bulat. 2) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Katobengke dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal cerita pada pokok bahasan bilangan bulat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019 di kelas V SD Negeri 2 Katobengke. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Katobengke Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019,dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan pedoman wawancara. Setelah data terkumpul maka analisa data dilakukan melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data dan diakhiri dengan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulannya adalah: 1) Kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yang ditemukan adalah kesalahan dalam memahami soal, kesalahan membuat rumus, dan kesalahan dalam melakukan komputasi. 2) Penyebab kesalahan siswa adalah siswa kurang atau belum mampu memahami maksud dari soal, kurangnya latihan siswa dalam menyelesaiakan soal-soal matematika yang berhubungan dengan soal cerita, serta kurangnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika.

#### Abstract

This study aimed to describe the challenges of higher education in implementing online learning during the pandemic Covid-19 outbreak. This study was a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected from 408 students and 20 Lectures from 6 public universities and 6 private universities in Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, and Maluku, by filling out online questionaires and in-depth interviews via social media. The process of data analysis was data reduction, identifying themes, mapping interrelationships between themes, and concluding findings The results of data analysis showed that there were two main challenges, both for lecturers and students. First, limited resources, such as electronic devices (laptops/smartphones/others), learning resources, electricity, and internet connections. Second, lack of knowledge/skills on how to use the online learning media, finding and/or providing learning resources, managing online learning, providing online measuring tools, and carrying out online assessments. This condition has the greatest impact on students from low economic families, and who live in areas with limited access to learning facilities, such as electricity, and internet connections. Most of them lose learning opportunities because of these limitations.Â  Third, the difficulty of time management during the online learning period.

#### Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Buton Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Buton Tengah yang terdiri dari 6 kelas dengan jumlah 161 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu kelas VII.F sebagai kelas control yang terdiri atas 26 siswa dan kelas VII.D sebagai kelas eksperimen yang terdiri atas 27 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah tes. Untuk hasil analisis inferensial dari hail uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung = -2, 960 dan signifikan pada 0,005 < 0,05, berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran terbimbing berpengauh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas Vll SMP Negeri 7 Buton Tengah tahun ajaran 2019/2020.

#### Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 3 Baubau pada Pokok Bahasan Faktorisasi Aljabar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 1 siklus dengan subjeknya adalah peneliti dan guru sedang objeknya adalah siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 3 Baubau yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah nilai rata-rata 41,91 dan ketuntasan pembelajaran mencapai 48%, kemudian hasil belajar siswa setelah tindakan pada siklus 1 meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 71,22 dengan ketuntasan belajar 81,22%. Kemudian rata-rata hasil observasi pertemuan I sampai pertemuan ke-IV terhadap guru dengan presentasi 86,7% (sangat tinggi), sedangkan rata-rata hasil observasi terhadap siswa dengan presentasi 80% (tinggi). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 3 Baubau pada Pokok Bahasan Faktorisasi Aljabar.

#### Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of verbal ability on mathematics learning achievement of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori. This study used an ex-post factorial design. The population of this study were all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori in the academic year 2020/2021. The sample was students of class VIII-A 30 and VIII-B 27 who were selected using the proportional random sample technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire and student learning achievement. The results obtained are: 1) The verbal ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori has excellent abilities and has high, medium and low verbal skills. The verbal ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori is in the medium category with a percentage of 75.5% this is because verbal skills are very good.

#### Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is one of the basic abilities that every student must have in examining, expressing, and exploring a mathematical idea in the form of a problem, information, definition, etc. to find an appropriate solution according to the results of the representation, whether in the form of pictures, words, tables, symbols, graphs, and patterns in mathematics. The biggest reason that hinders students' bright ideas from appearing is the weak ability of students' mathematical representations which hinders students in determining the completion of mathematical problems and even less careful in reading story problems, weak in problem analysis, inaccurate, and difficulty connecting between concepts. The subjects of this study were students of grade VIII in one of the MTs in the Angkona sub-district, which consisted of two students. The instrument used for this research is the Visualizer Verbalizer Questionnaire (VVQ). Mathematical representation ability test questions and interviews. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the students' representation abilities with the visualizer and verbalizer styles are quite good. There are several interesting things from the two research subjects, namely the Visualizer subject (SVi) in solving a problem prioritizing the visual aspect in examining each question and the information contained in the a simpler form in representing an image and illustration of a flat shape. Meanwhile, the subject verbalizer (SVe) is more likely to explore detailed and clear information in representing something related to the Pythagorean theorem.
