Abstract

Malang regency is one of greatest special places of Indonesian migrant workers of Indonesia which contributing big number enough of Indonesian migrant workers. The research is aimed to know what kinds of matters faced by Indonesian migrant workers of Malang Regency when they are in pre-placement time, placement time, and after placement time, know comparison of cost benefit had been had by Indonesian migrant workers of Malang Regency and the comparison of cost benefit between the destination countries. The outcomes of the research shows that based on the calculation yields of Cost Benefit Analysis of 15 ex-Indonesian migrant workers are wholly fulfilled the requirements to be prioritized, since in the Net Present Benefit (NPB) Method and also by Benefit Cost Ratio Method (BCR) all shows that the calculation yields are feasible to operate. Keywords: Migration, Indonesian Manpower, Cost Benefit Analysis

Abstract

The industrial sector is one of the sources of income in Indonesia, although basically the state of industry in Indonesia still has many problems including regarding low-educated labor, limited capital and uneven income distribution. Malang City is one of region in East Java with a largest source of income from the manufacturing industry sector. The variables observed in this study are education and gender issues on productivity. This study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed by multiple regression models. The results show that: 1) Education influences the labor productivity of small-scale manufacturing industries in Malang City; 2) Gender has a positive and significant effect towards labor productivity in small-scale manufacturing industries in Malang City; 3) Male labor productivity is higher than female labor productivity.https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v7i1.2691

Abstract

Salah satu bidang usaha yang tetap konsisten dan berkembang dalam perekonomian nasional salah satunya adalah Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Dengan maraknya pertumbuhan usaha saat ini persaingan pasarpun semakin ketat.Peralihan tren pemasaran dari konvensional (offline) ke media online menyebabkan para pelaku UMKM yang tidak memanfaatkan potensi digital marketing kehilangan kesempatan untuk lebih mengembangkan bisnisnya. Sosialisasi ini diikuti oleh 21 (Dua puluh Satu) orang para pelaku UMKM yang berada di Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang. Para pelaku UMKM di sini masih kurang inovatif dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Umumnya, mereka belum menggunakan daya pikir yang kreatif untuk menggunakan digital marketing dengan memanfatkan jejaring sosial sebagai media pemasaran.Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan dengan tujuan untuk membentuk usaha kecil yang produktif dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Para peserta sosialisasi sangat antusias dengan materi dan pemaparan yang disampaikan.Kondisi ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi para pelaku UMKM mempraktekkan ilmu yang didapat, sehingga usahanya semakin berkembang dan dapat bersaing pada pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Financial management is one of the main aspects for the progress of a company. Accounting is a process or way of producing financial information that can be used to make a decision for its users. Implementation methods of Community Service activities is carried out using presentation methods, tutorial systems, and mentoring. The results of the training and mentoring activities for making Islamic banking mudharabah financing proposal aimed at residents of Malang City Kasin Village who are also perpetrators or owners of MSMEs, have been evaluated based on the response and the results of the practices carried out by the participants and assistance for 3 days. This evaluation of community service activities was carried out through a questionnaire and the results of feedback on questions in the questionnaire relating to training and mentoring materials for making bank credit proposal and the enthusiasm of the participants in each question and answer session. The level of understanding of the participants in understanding the material that has been delivered is grouped on a scale of 71% -80.99%, then the community service activities are declared "quite good" and there are 3 mudharabah financing proposals available from the results of mentoring activities

Abstract

The people of Argoyuwono Village who are not well educated and have insufficient levels of economic capacity to send their children to higher levels of education, therefore, need the help of housing providers, to obtain information and assistance, this can lead to things that can be done to improve their standard of living. The method of this program is the provision of a reading house to give a new nuance and further and quality knowledge travel through books. The result of this program is that the people of Arguyuwono village are very happy with the existence of a reading house, because they believe that providing a reading house will be able to be a conducive place to build smart and superior generation in the village and this program is getting help from other parties, both from the village apparatus , Community leaders, teachers and also the general public.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) yang bekerja di luar negeri dilatarbelakangi oleh tekanan ekonomi, maka pemikiran para TKI berpusat pada remitansi yang besar, dengan stigma tersebut ada rasionalitas calon TKI memilih negara tujuan tempat bekerja yang memiliki standar upah tinggi, dengan biaya keberangkatan yang serendah mungkin. Bagi Pemerintah, TKI yang bekerja di luar negeri memberikan sumbangan devisa negara yang tidak kecil. Taiwan menjadi salah satu tujuan utama untuk bekerja dikarenakan pada Negara Taiwan ini  mempunyai standar gaji yang lebih tinggi dibanding Hongkong dan Singapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ditemukan bahwa untuk pra penempatan beberapa PJTKI ada yang memberikan dana tambahan untuk calon TKI namun ada yang meminta untuk membayar biaya pemberangkatan dan potong gaji, ketika berada di Taiwan kontrak kerja mudah diperpanjang dan standar upah tinggi tetapi sikap majikan tempramen dan kendala bahasa sedangkan setelah kembali ke Indonesia purna TKI mendapatkan modal yang tinggi dikarenakan standar upah yang tinggi namun hal itu menyebabkan purna TKI lebih konsumtif (2) Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Cost Benefit Analysis dari 15 mantan TKI secara keseluruhan memenuhi syarat untuk diprioritaskan, karena dalam metode Net Present Benefit (NPB) maupun dengan Metode Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) semuanya menunjukan bahwa hasil perhitungan yang layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

The banking world is currently experiencing rapid growth, new banks have emerged such as Islamic banks, so it is inevitable that a competitive and tight banking business will emerge. This service activity is expected to provide provisions for the participants, so that they can improve the Islamic economy. Understanding of Islamic banking products will provide benefits for them in terms of the Islamic economy. The systematics of the implementation of this service activity are Socialization, Literacy and Implementation with the assisted subjects who are partners of this community service activity are Karang Taruna and Dinoyo Residents in Lowokwaru District, Malang City. The activity is carried out in three stages, namely problem identification, activity implementation, and implementation evaluation. The result of the implementation of this activity was that the Participants expressed their gratitude to us for being given the opportunity to take part in the Islamic banking literacy and socialization activities so that they could open their minds who had so far felt that conventional banks and Islamic banks were the same. This shows that the literacy and socialization of Islamic banking in society is still not active enough so that activities like this should be carried out more frequently.

Abstract

The MSMEs sector has a very important role in supporting the economy of Malang Regency. However, MSMEs have difficulty obtaining access to Islamic banking financing because of a few reasons: their management lacks a good financial administration system, business management is still manual and traditional, and most MSME owners are unable to separate the operational money for their households and businesses. These technical constraints make the owner think less about the goals or long-term strategic plans of his business. In Karangsuko Village, most of its population still rely on the MSMEs sector as a means of livelihood. This service aims to make MSMEs actors understand financial management, sharia accounts, financing rules from Islamic banks, preparation of financial reports, and drafting financing proposals to Islamic banks. This activity was implemented using the RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal) method. With the systematic implementation of service activities by a team of lecturers at the Islamic University of Malang, the percentage of participants' understanding before and after the assistance was 18% and 87.20% respectively.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted to determine and analyze the effect work life balance, job burnout and workload on organizational commitment female nurses. The type of research used is a quantitative approach. The population in this study at the Islamic Hospital Unisma Malang with 65  people with a saturated sample of as much as the total population. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a likert scale. The data analysis technique in this study uses classic assumption test, multiple regression, t-test, F-test and coefficient of determination which is processed using the SPSS software progam (version 14.0). The results of this study indicate that simultaneously work life balance, job burnout and workload  have a positive and significant effect on organitational commitment. Partially, work life balance has a significant positive effect on organitational commitment, job burnout variable has no effect on organitational commitment, and workload has a significant negatif effect on organitational commitment.  Keywords: work life balance, job burnout and, workload, and organitatonal commitment

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the leadership style, reward, punishment, and employee performance and to determine the effect of leadership style, reward, and punishment on employee performance partially or simultaneously. This research method uses quantitative methods and this type of research is explanatory research. The sample of this research was 47 employees of the Housing, Settlement and Human Settlements Department of Malang Regency.To obtain accurate and detailed data, this study used a data collection method with a questionnaire. Data analysis used was instrument test, normality test, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 20 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style, reward, and punishment have a simultaneous effect on employees of the Housing, Settlement Areas, and Cipta Karya Malang Regency employees. Whereas partially, leadership style has no effect on employee performance, reward has an effect on employee performance, and punishment affects employee performance at the Housing, Settlement Areas, and Cipta Karya Malang Regency. Keywords: Leadership Style, Reward, Punishment and Employee Performance
