Palembang: Unsri Press.The study aimed to determine the physical and chemical properties of soil to support Land Application of palm oil mill effluent. The research method is carried out by survey method by taking soil samples at several depths. The results showed pH (2.98 - 2.93), C org (38.22 - 61.62 g / kg), N tot (0.84 - 0.95), P brey 1 (1.35 - 1 , 80 mg / kg), K-dd (0.19 - 0.32), Na (0.55 - 1.09 cmol / Kg), Ca (1.8 - 3.23 cmol / kg), Mg ( 0.55 - 1.81 cmol / kg), CEC (17.40 - 19.58 cmol / kg), KBL (14.94 - 32%), Sand (36.99 - 40.94%), Dust ( 40.63 - 55.57%), Clay (7.55 - 22.38%), BD (0.74 - 1.08 g / cm³), RPT (60 - 72%), Permeability (0.27 - 3.45 cm / hour). The results of the analysis show that nutrient-poor soils, but the physical condition of the soil is quite helpful for the media providing land applications for palm oil mill effluent.Keywords: palm oil mills, soil properties, waste

(Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-8 Tahun 2020, Palembang  20 Oktober 2020. pp. xxx.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The purpose of this research was to determine effect of fertilization stimulants on nutrient availability and the production of rubber latex on Ultisols. This research was conducted on May 2020 in rubber gardens public, Sungai Lilin km.114, Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatera.This research used Randomized Complete Block Design with 2 factors those were  first factor  was fertilizer and second factor was stimulants. The fertilizer consists of 4 levels, namely (without fertilizer and N, P, K fertilizer) and stimulants of 4 levels, namely (without stimulan, stimulant A, and stimulants B) and repeated 3 replication, so that 18 units of experiments were obtained. Each experiment consists of 5 plants so that the total number of plants as many as 90 plants. The results of this study showed that the stimulants did affect the yield of rubber plants. There is interaction of the experiment N, P, K fertilizer and stimulan A P1 S 1to production of rubber latex.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The aimed of the study was to compare the levels of soil organic matter in cultivated paddy fields with rice-paddy and rice-palawija cropping patterns in Pagar Alam Selatan District, Pagar Alam City. This research was conducted in Pagar Alam Selatan District, Pagar Alam City and soil analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Sampling was carried out using a grid survey method with a detailed survey level to compare between treatments using the T test. The parameter measured was C-organic analyzed by the Walkey and Black method. The results showed that the levels of organic matter in the two paddy fields in Pagar Alam Selatan District, Pagar Alam City were very high with the average soil organic matter content in paddy fields with a rice-paddy cropping pattern of 11.96% and an average organic matter content of 11.96%. soil in paddy fields with rice-crop crops pattern is 9.96%. The organic matter content of paddy fields with rice-paddy cropping patterns was significantly different from that of paddy-palawija cropping patterns.
