Abstract

Potensi pariwisata Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah sangat besar, perlu dukungan sumber daya manusia yang cerdas dan kreatif atau terampil berkarya. Melalui tangan-tangan kreatif generasi muda Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah yang dididik melalui pembelajaran prakarya di satuan pendidikan SMP/MTs dan diharapkan berkelanjutan ke satuan pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, potensi pariwisata nantinya akan lebih maju dan berkembang serta punya daya tarik tersendiri dengan pernak-pernik hasil kerajinan tangan masyakat lokal. Oleh karena itu materi pembelajaran prakarya seharusnya dilengkapi dengan materi yang spesifik sesuai warisan budaya kearifan lokal kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan buku Prakarya SMP/MTs. dengan mengadopsi atau memasukkan materi kearifan lokal Tapanuli Tengah. 2) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan pemakaian buku Prakarya Berbasis Kearifan Lokal SMP/MTs. Tapanuli Tengah. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan buku Prakarya SMP/Mts Tapanuli Tengah. Teknik sampling pada penelitian menggunakan Purposive Sampling merupakan sampel bertujuan dilakukan dengan cara mengambil subyek bukan didasarkan atas strata, random atau daerah tetapi didasarkan atas adanya tujuan tertentu (Arikunto, 2013:183). Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan, bahwa : 1) pengembangan buku Prakarya kewirausahaan dalam rangka menopang industri Pariwisata Daerah Tapanuli Tengah layak digunakan dengan hasil pencapaian nilai rata-rata setiap aspek di atas 85 dan pencapaian tingkat uji kelayakan 89,4%.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Kotanopan dengan judul “Peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Melalui Kunjungan Rumah (Home Visit) Terhadap Masalah Etika Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 5 Kotanopan”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk Mengetahui Peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Melalui Kunjungan Rumah (Home Visit) Terhadap Masalah Etika Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 5 Kotanopan dan Untuk Mengetahui Kendala Peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Melalui Kunjungan Rumah (Home Visit) Terhadap Masalah Etika Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 5 Kotanopan. Informan Penelitian adalah kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 5 Kotanopan, wali kelas, guru Bimbingan Konseling, kepala sekolah, anak/siswa dan orang tua anak/siswa di SMP Negeri 5 Kotanopan. Hasil penelitian adalah Peran guru bimbingan dalam memperbaiki etika siswa adalah salah satunya dengan memperingati siswa dengan secara baik,baik dan jika tidak berjalan sesuai yang diinginkan maka apa bila lebih dari 3 kali di peroses maka berlanjut pada tahap selanjutnya seperti  pangilan orangtua dan jika tidak tuntas juga dengan pangilan orang tua maka selajutnya dengan melakukan kunjungan rumah (home visit)

Abstract

Abstrak Pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling sangat dibutuhkan bagi anak anak usia dini, supaya dapat mencegah kekerasan seksual yang dapat terjadi pada anak usia dini. Pengabdian ini dilakukan menggunakan layanan bimbingan konseling salah satunya layanan informasi. Layanan Informasi yang diberikan menggunakan fun card atau kartu tempel. Kartu tempel tersebut akan diperagakan kepada siswa/i PAUD pada media boneka, layanan ini nanti juga diselingi dengan senam dan lagu terkait anggota tubuh yang boleh disentuh dan yang tidak boleh disentuh. Pemberian layanan ini nanti juga bekerjasama dengan mahasiswa program studi bimbingan dan konseling serta para guru PAUD di sekolah tersebut. Hasil pengabdian ini lebih khususnya dapat menjadi rujukan bagi para guru, mahasiswa dan calon pendidik nantinya dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual pada anak usia dini, hasil penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi bahan ajar atau teori dalam mata kuliah Psikologi Anak Usia Dini, Belajar dan Pembelajaran dan Psikologi Pendidikan. Hasil Penelitian ini nanti juga akan ditampilkan pada publikasi pengabdian ilmiah nasional terakreditasi dan sebagai bahan ajar pendukung bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Online games are played through internet connection on various devices, either alone or collaboratively with players from around the world. This research aims to explore the impact of violence in online games on children's behavior and mental health. The research methodology is literature review, using sources from Google Scholar and articles published in Scopus- and Sinta-accredited journals. Violence in online games refers to graphic or action scenes that depict violence, such as weapon fighting, physical violence, harsh language, or other brutal acts. Some games display violence explicitly and realistically, such as blood, broken bones, or sexual violence, while in other games, violence is implicitly and less visible. The presence of violent content in online games may have different impacts on children, but generally can affect their behavior, character, and mental health. Therefore, it is crucial for parents and caregivers to limit the time spent playing online games and choose games that are safe and do not contain violent content for children. The negative impact of violent online games includes increased aggression, reduced empathy, decreased mental health, distraction, and worsened behavior. However, there are also positive impacts of violent online games, such as enhancing social and cognitive skills, improving multitasking ability, and boosting creativity. It is important for parents and caregivers to monitor and regulate their children's online game time, and choose games appropriate for their age and maturity level that do not contain violent content.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine and evaluate the impact of teachers' professionalism and school leaders' managerial skills on the implementation of school-based management. Based on these goals, this study employs quantitative research techniques using a descriptive-inferential strategy. While primary data was gathered using a questionnaire instrument, secondary data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Following that, the data was prepared and subjected to path analysis with a mixed multiple regression model. The research population consists of junior high school principals and instructors. The sampling strategy samples the entire population using the Slovin formula, which, rounded up, will result in a total of 150 samples. Following an analysis of the study's findings, it was discovered that managerial competence of school principals has a significant direct effect on teacher professionalism by 81.6%, a direct effect on school-based management by 77.4%, a direct effect on school-based management by 75.4%, and a combined significant direct effect on both teacher professionalism and managerial competence of school principals by 75.4%. Thus, the professionalism of teachers through the managerial skill of school principals has a 60.7% impact on management at the school.

Abstract

This study investigates the active involvement of elementary school teachers in laying the foundation for character education. Character education is essential for shaping the newer generation's moral, ethical, and responsible personalities. Primary school, as the first level of education, plays a crucial role in molding the character of children. Teachers serve as role models for their students by inspiriting, guiding, and assisting them to realize their highest character potential. The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth understanding of the active role of teachers in shaping students' character in elementary schools, including the ways in which teachers engage in character education, the strategies they employ, and the challenges they encounter. The study also intends to assess the efficacy of character education implemented by instructors in shaping the character of students. The results demonstrate that instructors play a crucial role in shaping the character of their students. The implementation of character education in elementary schools requires a concerted and persistent effort to create a learning environment that supports and inspires the development of good character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the leadership management process in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. This research uses a literature study or literature approach with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of the leadership management process of Islamic educational institutions in the internalization of religious moderation in Indonesia includes efforts to create harmony and create mutual respect for each other's beliefs, by looking at the function of religious moderation itself and the goals and objectives to be achieved. The implementation of the leadership management process of Islamic educational institutions in internalizing religious moderation in Indonesia includes efforts to create harmony and create a sense of mutual respect for each other's beliefs, by looking at the function of religious moderation itself and the goals and objectives to be achieved. Thus, an educator's strategy is created in carrying out and delivering learning material through the insertion of relevant learning material with moderation, it is necessary to optimize the learning approach so that it fosters a critical mindset with mutual respect for differences in all things, being tolerant and democratic, being able to express think with an idea, have an attitude of sportsmanship and a high sense of responsibility, besides that it is also necessary to organize programs, conduct training and special provision related to religious moderation and fulfillment in achieving evaluation aspects.Keyword: Leadership Management; Islamic Educational Institutions; Internalization of Religious Moderation.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa, guru, dan dosen dalam menyusun karya tulis ilmiah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada tanggal 26 Mei 2023 dengan 43 peserta dari berbagai kalangan. Kegiatan meliputi pemaparan konsep dasar karya tulis ilmiah, pengenalan aplikasi Mendeley, demonstrasi praktis penggunaan Mendeley, sesi tanya jawab, diskusi, dan latihan mandiri. Melalui kegiatan ini, peserta meningkatkan pemahaman tentang struktur dan komponen karya tulis ilmiah serta kemampuan dalam mengorganisir referensi dan menyusun daftar pustaka secara efisien dengan bantuan Mendeley. Kolaborasi antara peserta dari berbagai latar belakang akademik memperkaya pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Penelitian lanjutan direkomendasikan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan Mendeley dalam meningkatkan kualitas karya tulis ilmiah serta penerapan lebih lanjut di lingkungan institusi. Pengembangan panduan penggunaan Mendeley yang lebih spesifik juga perlu diperhatikan.

Abstract

Dengan rasa senang atau tidak, setuju atau tidak, rela atau tidak, kini dunia telah memasuki Era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Hal ini tentunya telah mengakibatkan degradasi dan pergeseran nilai yang melanda masyarakat di Era Society 5.0. Semakin pesatnya pertumbuhan teknologi cyber dalam setiap aktivitas manusia, tentu saja hal ini berdampak pada banyak aspek kehidupan, termasuk pada dunia Pendidikan. Bahkan kini muncul istilah Pendidikan 4.0 yang menggambarkan respons dunia pendidikan untuk menyelaraskan manusia dan mesin agar menemukan inovasi-inovasi baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Tentunya berbagai inovasi baru tersebut diharapkan memecahkan masalah yang ada, dan mendapatkan solusi atas masalah tersebut. Lalu bagaimana semua ini bisa berkembang dengan pesatnya? Hal ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari peran Filsafat Ilmu yang merupakan induk Ilmu Pengetahuan (The Mother of Science). Dengan ilmu pengetahuan tercipta perubahan dan perkembangan dalam bidang teknologi. Sehingga Filsafat ilmu merupakan jembatan yang berperan penting dalam perkembangan teknologi. Tulisan ini berusaha memberikan penjelasan tentang Filsafat Ilmu: Peran dan Orientasi Keilmuan di Era 5.0 Society. Maka, Tim PKM menawarkan metode pengabdian dengan memberikan pendidikan tambahan bagi mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan berupa Stadium General (Kuliah Umum).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to quantify and examine how school supervisors' managerial oversight and managerial expertise affect school principals' performance. This study employs descriptive-inferential methodology and quantitative research techniques. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to obtain data. Statistical tests are then used to process and interpret the data. The entire research sample consisted of school administrators. The whole population census approach was employed in the sampling technique. According to the analysis of research findings, supervisory managerial oversight had a strong, immediate impact on the school's managerial competency. The effectiveness of school A principals is not significantly impacted by management oversight of supervisors. The performance of school A principals is significantly impacted directly by the managerial ability of school principals. Through the managerial proficiency of school principals, supervisory management supervision has a strong indirect impact on the performance of school A principals. The management oversight of school supervisors does not differ significantly from other managerial oversight. The managerial capabilities of school principals vary significantly. The principals of school A are more managerially skilled than the principals of school B. There is a large disparity between school principal performance; principals at school A perform better than principals at school B.
