Abstract

Wabah Covid-19 berdampak pada semua aspek kehidupan baik sosial maupun ekonomi. Dalam aspek ekonomi, wabah Covid-19 berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya pengangguran, menurunnya pertumbuhan ekonomi, menurunnya pendapatan usaha dan lain sebagainya. Meningkatnya pengangguran pada saat wabah Covid-19 disebabkan oleh menurunnya pendapatan usaha, usaha yang harus terhenti karena aturan pembatasan sosial. Kondisi demikian membuat Balai Latihan Kerja Komunitas (BLKK) Pesantren tergerak untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat terdampak covid-19. BLKK Pesantren merupakan salah satu lembaga masyarakat di lingkungan pesantren yang didirikan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui berbagai kegiatan pelatihan. Salah satu kegiatan pelatihan pada saat covid-19 adalah pelatihan desain grafis. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan untuk memberikan kemampuan masyarakat terdampak covid-19 dalam bidang desain grafis. Metode pemberdayaan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah menggunakan metode PAR (Participation Action Research). Ruang lingkup kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para santri, masyarakat desa Gondosuli dan masyarakat umum sekitar kecamatan Muntilan. Tim pengabdi melibatkan diri langsung ke lapangan sebagai pengajar di BLKK. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan ini mendapatkan respon positif dari masyarakat desa Gondosuli dan sekitarnya. Program pelatihan keterampilan di BLKK Pesantren ini menjadi salah satu opsi bagi masyarakat dalam hal pengembangan diri, olah keterampilan dalam upaya mewujudkan SDM yang berkualitas, terampil dan mandiri, terutama di masa Covid-19. In the economic aspect, the Covid-19 outbreak contributed to unemployment, decreased economic growth, decreased business income and so on. The increase in unemployment at the time of the Covid-19 outbreak was caused by decreased income, businesses that had to be stopped due to social regulations. This condition has motivated the Pesantren's Community Work Training Center to organize training that can improve the skills of people affected by Covid-19. The Pesantren's Community Work Training Center is one of the community institutions within the pesantren which was established in an effort to improve the quality of human resources through various training activities. One of the training activities during Covid-19 was graphic design. This training was held to provide the ability of people affected by Covid-19 in the field of graphic design. The empowerment method used in this service is to use the PAR (Participation Action Research) method. The scope of this service activity is the students, the community of Gondosuli village, and the general public around the Muntilan district. The service team is directly involved in the field as a teacher at the BLKK. The results of this empowerment activity received a positive response from the people of Gondosuli village and its surroundings. This Pesantren's Community Work Training Center skills training program is an option for the community in terms of self-development, processing skills in an effort to create quality, skilled, and independent human resources, especially during the during Covid-19.
