Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this study were to describe: (1) the students with high-ability mathematical reasoning on problems solving of algebra factorization in eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta, (2) the students with  moderate-ability mathematical reasoning in problem solving of algebra factorization of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta, (3) the students with low-ability mathematical reasoning in problem solving of the algebra factorization material in eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. This research was a qualitative case study type. The research subjects were taken from eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. The subjects amounted to 9 students consisting of 3 students with high ability, three students with moderate ability, and 3 students with low ability. The research data were in the form of written and oral data. Written data were obtained from the research subject test on written test instruments. The oral data obtained from the think aloud verbal conducted by researchers to the study subject. The techniques of analyzing the data were: (a) data reduction (b) presention of data (c) conclusion. The results showed that the students with high-ability reasoning mathematical were: (a) understand the problem, the students read the questions carefully and write down the information that is known of the problem and write down what was being asked of the problem; (b) present the mathematical expressions and perform calculations, students write a mathematical equation to calculate by used the operations of addition, subtraction and multiplication algebra fluently; (c) submit the notion and manipulation of mathematics, students write the answer to determine the length and width of the rice field by factoring and write down the factoring results that obtained; (d) drawn the conclusions, students write the length and width of the rice fields and multiplying the factoring results obtained to convince answers that obtained. The students with moderate-ability reasoning mathematical were: (a) understand the problem, students read the question after it write down the information that was known from the problem and write down what was being asked of the problem; (b) present the mathematical expressions and perform calculations, students write a mathematical equation to calculate by using the operations of addition, subtraction and multiplication algebra although this was used long time to write mathematical expressions and perform calculation, but students were get the expected rice fields wide. The students with low-ability mathematical reasoning were: understand the problem, students read again and again but still confused after it write down the information that was known from the problem and write down what was being asked of the problem. Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-based mathematical module in the material system of two-variable linear equations of class VIII SMP students that are valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research with the method used is ADDIE. The subject of this study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngabang, Landak District. The instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets and student learning outcomes tests. The result indicates that a problem-based mathematical module has been developed in the material system of two-variable linear equations of class VIII SMP students that are valid, practical and effective. Based on the results of the validity test, it can be stated that the problem-based mathematical module produced is valid with a validity value of 79.11. The implementation observation results show that the problem-based mathematics module is in the practical category with a practical value of 82.18. Then the results of student learning tests showed that the average value of the learning outcomes test was 83.00 and the effectiveness of the problem-based mathematics module was 87.50% and included in the effective category. When viewed from the results of the tests performed, the development of problem-based mathematical modules in the subject matter of the two-variable linear equation system has been successfully developed and is suitable for use in Ngabang 1 State Middle School.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic period like now requires to find an alternative learning that is effectively used. It drives a changing method of learning from face-to-face to online. One alternative in learning today is the use of smartphones or commonly referred to as mobile learning. This study aims to determine: 1) differences in student mathematics learning achievement with learning through mobile learning and google classroom, 2) interaction between learning through mobile learning and the ability to work together with students towards mathematics learning achievement, 3) differences in student mathematics learning achievement at the level of ability cooperate. The subjects of this study were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program STKIP Pamane Talino who took 68 Integral Calculus courses consisting of 2 classes. The research was conducted in 5 meetings. Each group was taught with the same material. The instruments in this study were test and questionnaire. The research method used was quasi experiment with 2x3 factorial design approach. The data analysis test used was the two-way ANAVA test with the analysis prerequisites in the form of a normality test and a homogeneity test. The results of data analysis show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. Thus, it can be concluded that: (1) learning with Mobile Learning media is more effective than learning with Google Classroom media, (2) the level of ability to work together high, medium and low gives different effects on student mathematics learning achievements and (3) students with all levels of ability to work with learning media Mobile Learning and Google Classroom provide equally good learning achievements.

Abstract

Abstrak Rendahnya prestasi belajar matematika merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sulit untukdiselesaikan. Banyak faktor yang berhubungan dengan permasalahana tersebut, salah satunyaadalah penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian iniadalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembalajaran matematika menggunakan metode pairs checksterhadap prestasi belajar matematika. metode yang digunakan daam penelitian ini adalahmetode kuantitatif dengan studi komparasi, dengan uji prasyarat analisis uji normalitas dan ujihomogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair checks lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaranlangsung terhadap prestasi belajar dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata nilai siswa yang diajarkanmenggunakan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair checks yaitu 73,50 sedangkansiswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung nilai rata-ratanya 54,18. Hal itudiperkuat dengan pengujian hipotesis berdasarkan perbandingan t?????? dengan t1?? pada tarafsignifikan 5% atau ? = 0,05 menunjukan bahwa t?????? lebih besar dari t1?? (1,731585 >1,67022).Kata Kunci: metode, pair checks, matematika.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika tentang metode Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dan Jigsaw terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada materi pokok soal persamaan garis dan sudut kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila pada akademik 2017/2018 kabupaten landak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif studi penelitian komparatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila pada 13 Maret - 22 Maret 2018. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila yang terdiri dari 57 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) lebih baik daripada Jigsaw. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata kelas VIIA menggunakan Metode STAD 80,55 dan kelas VIIB menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw 75,71. Pengujian hipotesis terhadap hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 2,153 sedangkan ttabel = 2,004. Ini menunjukkan t hitung> t tabel atau 2,153> 2,004. H0 ditolak yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan antara penggunaan metode Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dan Jigsaw pada prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada garis subjek dan sudut kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila 2017/2018 tahun ajaran Kabupaten Landak

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of practical use of student worksheets in schools. This research is development research. The product developed and tested in the form of guided inquiry-based worksheets on Algebra material for eighth grade MTs students. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The purpose of this research is to develop guided inquiry-based worksheets that fulfill the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness to help class VIII MTs to better understand the algebraic material. The subject of this study was the eighth-grade students of MTs 1 Landak. The instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets, and learning outcome tests. The results of instrument validation are categorized as valid with the level of material validation of 76.25% and media validation of 78.7%. The results of LKS implementation observations found a practical level of 78.3%. Learning test results students find an average test of learning outcomes obtained by students of 77.7 with a percentage of classical completeness of students by 80%. The results of this test indicate that LKS is included in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar kalkulus diferensial berbasis pendekatan penemuan terbimbing pada. Penelitian ini dilakukan di STKIP Pamane Talino pada mahasiswa pendidikan matematika angkatan 2019. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas, uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian the one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar kalkulus diferensial berbasis pendekatan penemuan terbimbing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Apakah ada hubungan kemandirian belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Gamping, (2) Seberapa besar hubungan antara kemandirian belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Gamping. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data, uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian diketahui bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemandirian belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Gamping. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai Pearson Correlation sebesar 0,643 > 0,361. Selain itu dapat dilihat dari nilai hitung (4,446) > t tabel (2,048) (2) bahwa hubungan antara kemandirian belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Gamping cukup kuat dengan persentase sebesar 41,4%. Kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 41,4% ditentukan oleh kemandirian belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai koefisien determinasi dengan R square sebesar 0,414.
