Abstract

PT. X is a newspaper publishing company. In publishing newspapers, paper raw materials are needed as the main ingredient. In choosing a supplier of paper suppliers, so far the company still applies conventional methods. Improper supplier selection process will have an impact on the sales of the company because it relates to the production process and also the products to be sold later. Many things must be considered in choosing suppliers. In the decision-making process for selecting suppliers, it must be noted that the factors (criteria) that each other might be interrelated. The Analytic Network Process (ANP) method is a method of decision making with many interrelated criteria. This problem is represented in a system with dependence and feedback. The linkages found in the ANP method are linkages in a set of elements (node comparison) and linkages to different elements (cluster comparison). The use of the ANP method will produce priority value weights on all elements contained in the decision making system. From the research that has been done at PT. X there are 4 consideration criteria consisting of 12 sub-criteria, and 3 alternative choices. Based on the results of data processing, alternative suppliers of CV. A was chosen as the best alternative supplier with the highest weight value of 0.158 then CV. B with 0.145 and CV. C of 0.134. Therefore, alternative suppliers of CV. A is the best alternative supplier for the company.

Abstract

Increasing population growth also contributes to the increasing need for homes or dwellings as basic human needs. Many ways people do to meet these needs, among others, by buying from someone else, building it yourself or by buying a house in a housing developer. Houses besides being a basic human need, it is also used as an indicator of one's success and as an asset for business development and an increase in the economic value of the owner. Prospective home buyers certainly have criteria that are considered in choosing a house. Many of the existing criteria are often followed by the availability of more than one choice of the house to be able to meet these criteria. Therefore, the writer tries to try to make a Decision Support System in a Home Purchase that will later help prospective home buyers in deciding which house to buy. The decision-making method used in this system is an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) as a form of decision-making model that is suitable for multi-criteria and multi-alternative problems with the main input being human perception. Combined with the Borda method which is one method of group decision making that can combine the results of perceptual analysis (the results of AHP analysis) from several decision makers. it is necessary to have a group decision-making technique (group decision support system). So that the resulting home purchase decision can be accepted by all decision makers (family). From the results of the calculation and voting process, House X was chosen with 9 votes. Abstract

The recruitment process is the initial process that determines the sustainability and success of a company. In the process, effective and efficient selection tests are the key. The level of professionalism and academic ability of prospective employees are two things that are very much needed as a reference and criteria that are used as selection factors in the recruitment process. This study uses the Fuzzy Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method by solving problems using the Simple Addictive Weighting Method (SAW). The use of this method is expected to produce an electronic selection test application that can help the recruitment team in carrying out the selection process at PT. X. The results of the research are in the form of prospective employee selection test applications to simplify the process of selecting prospective employees according to their needs. Abstract

The development of a franchise business requires the opening of new branches to be able to expand the wider market in the community. The selection of a franchise's new location is a very decisive factor in the success of the franchise in the future. With the new location allows to increase the range, market and number of consumers. The object of research in this case is a retail franchise. The PROMETHEE method is used to manage individual decisions of each decision maker, while the Borda method is used to manage group decisions on the results of the PROMETHEE method ranking. The use of these two methods is one solution to produce more objective group decisions. Alternative ranking of this location is in accordance with the rules and policies and procedures for opening a new branch of a retail franchise. The variables in this study are facilities and infrastructure, crime, per capita income, economic growth, population and the number of retail franchises around the alternative location for opening the retail franchise branch. The results obtained from this study are location E or Endrosono area as the best alternative location.

Abstract

Abstract

The shipping industry sub-sector, although contributing quite significantly to Indonesia's economic growth, has not yet included leading commodities in industrial development in Indonesia. The problem that must be examined in the effort to develop the shipping industry is the absence of the determination / application of the right strategy to be able to maximize the potential of the existing potential that enables the shipping industry to become a competitive industry. The research is carried out with the following stages: - Searching for sources of information that can provide an overview of the boundaries, subject matter of the study, developments and problems in the shipping sub sector, territorial understanding, understanding of management strategies, to then set the goal formulation as the direction of conducting research. - Conducting an expert survey to review and determine the elements / sub elements related to the development strategy of the shipping industry real sector of the shipping industry. - Designing a structuring system by conducting studies / determination of the key elements of development, with Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). Based on the results of expert studies, 4 elements and 12 sub elements were determined that have strong interactions with the development of the shipping industry in Indonesia. The elements are then analyzed by the level of interaction with the ISM-VAXO technique. The first step is to study the contextual relationship in the form of the SSIM-VAXO Matrix. This method has been able to classify all sub-elements into four quadrants based on the value of Drive Power and Dependence and in the hierarchical structure based on Ranking and Level, which then informs the key sub-elements of the development of the shipping industry, namely: sub-elements: Provision of human resources with shipping knowledge and skills adequate (7) and sub-elements Improvement of managerial skills training program (8).Keywords: Shipping industry, development strategy, ISM
