Abstract

Badan publik di Indonesia memiliki kewajiban untuk membangun sistem keterbukaan informasi publik yang ramah akses bagi semua pihak, termasuk dalam hal ini adalah perguruan tinggi negeri (PTN). Salah satunya adalah dengan mengoptimalkan peran situs web sebagai sarana komunikasi sehingga dapat turut serta berpartisipasi mewujudkan akuntabilitas publik. Studi ini mengkaji tentang konten informasi pada salah satu situs web PTN, yakni www.unsoed.ac.id yang merupakan media milik Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto-Jawa Tengah. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, maka hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa fokus informasi yang disediakan pada situs web adalah : 1) publikasi aktivitas keseharian institusi, 2) informasi tentang tridharma perguruan tinggi dan 3) penunjang penyelenggaraan pendidikan tinggi. Melalui situs web tersebut, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman telah menjalankan fungsi kehumasan khususnya dalam memfasilitasi kebutuhan dasar informasi publik, khususnya yang terkait dengan rencana studi lanjut, kemitraan dalam pemanfaatan hasil riset dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Kata kunci: akuntabilitas publik, informasi, kehumasan, website.

Abstract

Inter-faith marriage, such as Islam-Catholic marriage has been a certain reality for we cannot deny its existence in the society even though some people think of it as unusualness. The principal interpretation of each religion, the rule of law, and the potential of horizontal latent conflict in the community marginalize that marriage. However, it is interesting that the practice exists and becomes a choice for couples who want to get married. This study attempts to explore the communication patterns of the inter-faith couples. Using social phenomenology approach, the researcher applied in-depth interview to elaborate the comprehension of ten informants from Javanese involved, especially the comprehension on their account of their marriage and their communication experience authentically in the adaptation process during the marriage. The result of the research shows two inter-faith account in practice; understanding and social justification account. The former means a love-based account which states that someday everybody will accept the reality, while the latter means a love-based motive and there is a belief that there is nothing different in that marriage. Every inter-faith marriage doer has low-fidelity religious affiliation or they may have a pluralistic theological interpretation with minimal resistance from significant other. The researcher also reveals that communication experience is an inseparable inter-subjective experience in conflict management and decision making process to reach the agreement on some problems they have, such as the wedding ceremony, the religion symbols in their house, the religious education for their children, the daily ritual and religious celebration, and also the problem in communicating their family identity to their neighborhood.

Abstract

Film merupakan media komunikasi massa yang memiliki kekuatan untuk menjangkau khalayak luas, dan memiliki potensi untuk mempengaruhi banyak khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menerapkan studi semiotika. Untuk meneliti bagaimana kode-kode dalam film doea tanda cinta dapat menyampaikan nilai-nilai citra perwira tentara nasional indonesia. Metode yang dilakukan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah dengan kode-kode televisi John Fiske. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai citra perwira tentara nasional indonesia yang direpresentasikan melalui kode lingkungan, kostum, perilaku dan dialog pada level realitas. Kode kerja kamera pada tahap representasi. Serta kode citra perwira tentara nasional indonesia dalam UU No 34 tahun 2004 pada level ideologi. Kode-kode tersebut merepresentasikan kemampuan Bagus dan Mahesa ketika menjadi pemeran utama dalam menjalankan tugas dan kewajibannya menjadi seorang perwira TNI.

Abstract

The Chinese television historical drama has attracted world attention. Langya Bang is a successful television drama serial that is considered a social media phenomenon. This research was conducted to explore the heroic aspects of Mei Changsu based on the concept of heroism according to the Confucian teaching. This qualitative descriptive research used John Fiske’s television semiotics method that consisted of three levels: reality level, representation level and ideology level. The results show that at reality level analysis, looking from clothing, appearance, way of speaking, behavior, body movement, expression and environment codes, we can conclude that the protagonist Mei Changsu was represented as a warrior, a scholar and a prince, and can also be considered as a Junzi or a superhero figure with the concept of wen-wu who internalized the virtues in the Confucian teaching. At the representation level, the technical and conventional codes represent the five Confucian ethics are reflected through camera, lighting, music, and audio aspects and at ideology level we can conclude collectivism ideology and patriarchal leadership. Through a semiotic meaning study and the use of television code, we can understand that the television media Langya Bang is the medium to promote traditional Chinese culture and also indirect way to understand the Confucian teaching, in this case is about Confucian ideal of cultivating individual and responsible leader, who devoted to rules for the benefit of society. The representation of Confucianism in the storyline of Langya Bang is important in legalizing the unity of culture, that is Chinese culture.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the many resources owned by Banyumas Recency, a small town located in Central Java Province, which has potential impact in increasing the independence and welfare of the community. To promote Banyumas tourism, a communication medium that is in tune with the present and can built public motivation and interest in visiting the location is urgently needed. Instagram is a social media that responds as a digital communication platform that has the ability to build a reputation and sustainable reciprocal relationships with audiences/publics. This research aims to identify how to manage the Instagram account content @dinporabudpar_banyumas in supporting the tourism potential promotion system in Banyumas Regency. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, the data were obtained through the upload documentation in Instagram from 21 September until 31 December 2019. The results showed that the uploaded content was categorized into three types, namely cultural, natural and culinary tourism. Uploaded content combines photo and video aspects with attention to informative-persuasive text narrative. This capability in management will have an impact on the development of regional development and become a form of public relations articulation for the government that takes sides in the implementation of development. Abstract

Kampus Mengajar (KM-2) merupakan bagian dari program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang diusung pemerintah guna membantu para tenaga pendidik SMP dan SD dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini salah satunya dilangsungkan di SDN 02 Klepu, Semarang, Jawa Tengah yang diikuti oleh siswa kelas 2. Oleh karena target treatment adalah anak kelas rendah sehingga metode pembelajaran literasi yang digunakan yakni melalui sarana permainan yakni kartu huruf, permainan kata (word game), dan baca cepat. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran metode belajar sambil bermain terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi siswa kelas 2 SDN 02 Klepu. Sudut pandang yang digunakan yakni psikologi kognitif berdasarkan teori Gestalt. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan studi literatur. Metode permainan tersebut berperan untuk membentuk persepsi awal pada anak dalam hal ini terkait huruf serta kata. Permainan yang diberikan kepada para siswa kelas 2 dilakukan secara bertahap. Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa cara tersebut cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa.

Abstract

Catcalling merupakan sebuah contoh bentuk komunikasi yang melanggar ketidakpatutan sosial karena seringkali membuat tidak nyaman dan mengintimidasi korbannya. Tindakan catcalling ini masuk dalam salah satu bentuk pelecehan seksual dalam ranah kekerasan verbal dan kekerasan psikis. Namun terdapat ambiguitas makna di masyarakat dalam memandang tindakan ini. Terdapat orang yang menyadari mengenai catcalling sebagai bentuk pelecehan seksual, akan tetapi tidak sedikit pula yang menganggap bahwa catcalling hanyalah candaan dan hal yang wajar karena seringkali dibalut dengan pujian. Catcalling seringkali diidentikkan dengan tindakan yang terjadi di wilayah perkotaan, akan tetapi ternyata daerah perdesaan sendiri tidak luput dari maraknya aktivitas catcalling. Selain itu remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan terhadap perilaku catcalling baik sebagai pelaku maupun korban. Penelitian ini berusaha mencari tahu bagaimana persepsi remaja Desa Danareja pada tindakan catcalling yang terjadi di sekitarnya baik sebagai pelaku, korban maupun yang hanya melihat tindakan catcalling atau selanjutnya disebut dengan penonton. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan informan remaja Desa Danareja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja Desa Danareja dengan peran pelaku, korban, dan penonton tindakan ini tidak menganggap catcalling sebagai pelecehan seksual, hal ini karena ketidaktahuan remaja mengenai catcalling sendiri dan adanya pengaruh pewajaran dari lingkungan sekitar mengenai tindakan catcalling.

Abstract

Eksistensi perguruan tinggi adalah sejauh dirinya tidak membatasi diri sebagai wahana pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan belaka, melainkan mampu menghasilkan sebesar-besarnya kemaslahatan bagi masyarakat Salah satunya adalah melalui diseminasi teknologi tepat guna bagi masyarakat perdesaan yang merupakan representasi yang tidak dapat dibantah lagi dalam demografi Indonesia. Proses diseminasi tersebut diharapkan mampu mengukuhkan keberadaan institusi perguruan tinggi sebagai pusat pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Menggunakan metode reception analysis, penelitian ini menggunakan siaran Mimbar IPTEKS kerjasama LPPM UNSOED dan RRI Purwokerto sebagai objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa siaran Mimbar IPTEKS telah menjadi media transformasi informasi berbasis transmisi, interaksi dan transaksi. Namun demikian, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa perlunya meningkatkan kemampuan narasumber dalam menggunakan diksi yang disesuaikan dengan frame of reference dan field of experience masyarakat perdesaan sehingga efektivitas pemahaman dapat lebih terakselerasi

Abstract

Numerical skills become one of the important pillars in the world of education that should be mastered well by children since elementary school. However, in reality the number of children in Indonesia is still relatively low. Therefore, the government through the Teaching Campus program has made efforts to improve learning related to numeracy in various elementary and junior high schools. One of these activities took place at SDN 02 Klepu, Semarang, Central Java, which was attended by 22 grade VI students. This paper aims to describe the role of the Teaching Campus in increasing student numeracy. The method used is pre-experimental designs with the type of one group pretest-posttest, observation, and literature study. The treatment process for students is carried out by strengthening and repeating basic Mathematics material according to Piaget's theory of cognitive development using the drill method. The results found that the method applied was able to help students to better remember and understand various mathematical problems.
