Abstract

A needs assessment is an activity to identify a need of someone who needed attention more than others due to lack of physical, social or economic. And monitoring development assistance is to monitor the activities of an object that has channeled aid to the recipient bantuan.Becouse yet there is a facility or information system tools that can assist in the assessment and monitoring needs assistance. Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than two billion people are infected with hepatitis B with a mortality rate of 250 thousand people per year and 170 million people worldwide suffer from hepatitis C with a death rate of 350 thousand people per year. The number of hepatitis patients in Indonesia is estimated that as many as 30 million people suffer from chronic hepatitis B and C. Half of it is thought to have chronic liver disease, with 10 percent of them become cancerous liver.Applications built will be able to help people with hepatitis in diagnosing and providing information about the disease hepatitis experienced. Information generated application form hepatitis outbreak confidence level based on the physical symptoms experienced were calculated using the Certainty Factor.Based on the evaluation of the test results, hepatitis disease diagnosis applications using Certainty Factor has been made capable of diagnosing hepatitis disease experienced by patients and give certainty to the illness as well as generate data that contains the results of diagnosis and disease therapy diet meal plan that can help the user provide solutions to the disease suffered hepatitis.   Keywords: WHO, Hepatitis, Certainty Factor, Evident, Diagnosis

Abstract

STIKOM Surabaya News or commonly called SSNews is a campus magazine of STIKOM Surabaya that containing a variety of news and information about both the activities around campus and variety of general information. SSNews printed version is have to form as a magazine that can be obtained on campus, but the number of copies printed is relatively limited to meet the needs of readers, specially those on either campus environment for students, faculty or staff. Therefore SSNews have another alternative to launch an online version that can be accessed through the site http://ssnews.stikom.edu/ which can be accessed easily via the computer. Currently readers can only access the address of the website through the browser on mobile phones so as to make the readers should be online to enjoy every news content on SSNews, moreover not all of it can display websites very well and comfortable. Since the majority of readers are mobile phone users, the authors offer a new alternative for the reader by making an application that called SSNews Mobile which provides a new experience in reading the news content of SSNews. By using SSNews Mobile, readers can enjoy SSNews contents with relatively cheaper and more comfortable. Even the news that you want to save is can be done so quickly and easily so that the readers does not need to online anymore to read news content.   Keywords : SSNews, Magazine, Mobile Application, J2ME.

Abstract

PT. ALP Petro Industry is a lubricant factory under the supervision of Agip Petroli SPA Italy, PT. ALP Petro Industry is a performance appraisal has been done it still takes a long time, due to perform manual calculations that take a long time. assessment is still one-way, this leads to high performance subjectivity, because there are several criteria that no supporting data such as assessment criteria for personal skills, so that assessment is based on personal opinion of a valuer. To support the company´s business is it necessary to have a performance appraisal system of employees to be able to overcome the obstacles that occur, with the aim of assisting the employer in conducting an objective assessment of performance against an employee based on established criteria. Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a huge effect on the economy and empowerment of labor in Indonesia. This is proven by the number of GDP produced by 56.5 % and labor absorption up to 97 % (Yoga; 2011). Nevertheless, the development of SMEs is still hampered by the lack of market knowledge and information. Currently, the information obtained was limited to the number of SME’s sales and earnings based on recap of transactions. SMEs can’t get information about sales trend to find out the products being in demand, current stock information to determine reorder time to supplier, transaction history of customers and suppliers to find out their main customer and supplier. This information is needed by management to make a business decision. From all problems above, the authors will make a sales information system to record sales transactions and generate reports of sales trends, current stock and transaction history of customers and suppliers. The sales information system use cloud computing technology so that SMEs do not have to provide a huge investment to purchase their own infrastructure and maintenance costs. The system can also be accessed anytime and anywhere through the internet. Thus, the management can get sales information wherever they are, and decision making can be helped by current information produced by the system. Abstract

Pusat Koperasi Industri Susu –(PKIS) in Sekar Tanjung provides service of processing fresh milk into ultra high temperature (UHT) milk. In its production, PKIS Sekar Tanjung mostly serving services of milk processing for other companies such as: Latitude Visikusuma, Green Field, Garuda Food, Indolakto, Danone and Kalbe Farma. PKIS Sekar Tanjung have approximately 604 employees in production section. With the large number of employees, PKIS Sekar Tanjung can not be separated from the problem of human resources (HR). Until this days, the entire data processing was done manually using a simple application. That condition make the possibility of an error while processing data which is caused by error before recording becomes high. That condition also prolong the time needed for organizing the report. To overcome the problem of processing employees data , PKIS Sekar Tanjung need to apply the employee information system that will support the activities of Human Resource section. With the application of employee information systems, it’s expected that this system can assist Human Resource section in delivering the required information quickly.

Abstract

The problem in PKBL activity of benoa port is based on PKBLs loan report in 2011, there is 100% total bad debt with the details 15 bad debt of 15 loans. and from the PKBLs loan report in first semester 2012, there is 87% total bad debt with the details 26 bad debt of 30 loans. the percentages amount of bad debt is caused by mitra could not adequate to pay their loan. PKBLs officer difficult to monitor when partner could not settle their loan. In order to solve the problem, they need monitoring information system of fostered partner which give benefit to monitor financial condition of fostered partner. system will monitor with liquidity factor, solvency and profitability With the monitoring information system of fostered partner, PKBLs officer obtain the information about partners result of paying ability asessment, information about partners result of financial eficiency assessment and information about partners result of determination founding assessment.

Abstract

  Microsoft released a sensor called Kinect, a gaming control functions as an alternative in which the user can move freely to use his body when interacting with virtual menu or playing games. One example of Kinect Sports : Boxing, the game is not including the measurement display of speed and power punches.Based on the existing problems then will be proposed for an application that can calculate the speed and power of a punch using Kinect sensor technology , Calculation of speed and power punches using a series of formulas to calculate the speed and kinetic energy . Then the value resulting from the calculation become performance parameters during training session , and then the value of the performance will be made by comparing each rank highest value that has been created in the previous exercise in order to found a new highest score .Based on the results of this research and by making use of Kinect technology that jab punch force can be measure from its velocity and energy , to then be used as an assessment of the exercise that has been carried out . But Kinect technology itself still has limited movement in the form of respite captured by the sensor and there is noise in the depth-sensor .

Abstract

Abstract: STIKOM Surabaya is a university that focus in computer science. Now, STIKOM Surabaya has ransaction data more than 10 years that saved in its database. That data never been used optimally cause data never been transferred to data warehouse. With all of this data, it makes STIKOM Surabaya rich of data but poor with information so that every decision cannot be taken well and quickly. Reports that management required always be populated from transactional data and it takes long time because relationship in transactional data is not suitable with reporting. Each time new report requested by management, it will also takes longer time because user must track each table to make that report. Data warehouse is a solution that can make reports faster and more accurate. Transactional data will be transferred to data warehouse and will be organized so that every reports that management requested can be fulfill immediately. This system can help STIKOM Surabaya to populate academic reports and can also fulfill accreditation requirement for the government in the fastest way.

Abstract

The companys market Area (PDPS) is a company engaged in community service in place of fulfillment order, the means, and the infrastructure of traditional market in the city of Surabaya and the duties and responsibilities of a sub section of the administrative regulations based on SOP/TTU/01. Based on the four functions of SOP/TTU/01, in it there are processes that are currently experiencing difficulty in running it. This is due to the absence of the system (applications) that can help the performance of administrative sub division officer. The difficulty lies in the process of storage (tape/record keeping and archiving), search, retraction, distribution and provision of the code number.
