Abstract

Occupational health and safety behaviour in hospitals is very important because the slightest action can pose a risk to midwives and patients. One of the causes of the risk of infection is the behaviour of midwives who at work do not wear complete personal protective equipment (PPE) where the prevention is more directed at the work environment, equipment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the behaviour of midwives on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in assisting normal delivery at Benyamin Guluh Kolaka Hospital with a cross-sectional design. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and behaviour of midwives on the use of PPE in Normal Delivery Assistance at Benyamin Guluh Kolaka Hospital. There is a relationship between attitudes and behaviour of midwives towards the use of PPE in Normal Delivery Assistance at Benyamin Guluh Kolaka Hospital. There is no relationship between compliance with the behaviour of midwives on the use of PPE in Normal Delivery Assistance at Benyamin Guluh Kolaka Hospital. There is a relationship between facilities and infrastructure and the behaviour of midwives towards the use of PPE in Normal Delivery Assistance at Benyamin Guluh Hospital.

Abstract

Strict supervision and control of public transportation modes is one of the new platforms for the occurrence of COVID-19 cases. One of them is sea transportation modes such as ships that carry many people in a limited space with relatively homogeneous mixing over a longer period of time than other modes of transportation. Changes in the behavior of ship passengers regarding preventive measures are very important to inhibit the spread of COVID-19. This change can be seen from the number of ship passengers who comply with government regulations to implement health protocols. Judging from the number of COVID-19 cases on November 16, 2020, Kendari City is the area with the highest number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, with 3055 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of fast ship passengers at the Nusantara port towards the COVID-19 health protocol prevention measures, to determine the attitude of the Nusantara fast boat passengers to the COVID-19 health protocol prevention measures, the confidence of the Nusantara port fast boat passengers to the COVID-19 health protocol prevention measures 19, knowing the relationship between facilities and infrastructure on fast boats at the Nusantara port to the preventive measures for the COVID-19 health protocol, and knowing the relationship between the personal hygiene of passengers on the fast boats at the Nusantara port and the preventive measures for the COVID-19 health protocol. This type of research is correlational research. The population of this research is the number of passengers on the fast boat at Pelabuhan Nusantara per day as many as 400 people. The research sample was 384 people. The results showed that the 5 variables studied, which had a relationship with the preventive measures for the COVID-19 health protocol were knowledge of passengers, p-value = 0.000, passenger attitudes, p-value = 0.000, passenger confidence, p-value = 0.000. , ship facilities and infrastructure obtained p-value = 0.002, and personal hygiene of passengers obtained p-value = 0.032.

Abstract

This research is based on the launching of Family Planning in Talia Village. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation of the Family Planning Program in Talia village, District Abeli Kendari Municipalities, The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data used are primary and secondary data, where the data sources obtained from informants were selected based on purposive sampling. The data collection techniques using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews then was analyzed the data reduction. The results of this research indicate that generally, the implementation of a family planning program in Talia District has been going well. Only there is one activity that has not been done, the Youth Counseling Center (PIK) Youth. The general objective of this program is still in the process of achieving the program due to the family planning program in the Talia Village started in February 2018. The resources, the quality of inter-organizational relations, and the characteristics of the organization has supported the implementation of family planning programs in the Talia Village.

Abstract

Generally, malnutrition is a public health problem involving multi- disciplinary and must always be controlled, especially for people living in developing countries. The implementation of the Nutrition program at the Masaloka Raya Public Health Center is running well, systematically, and sustainably. However, the results of the program have not eliminated the malnutrition rate. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in nutritional intake, basic health care, individual hygiene in under-fives with poor nutritional status, and normal nutritional status in the Working Area of Masaloka Raya Public Health Center, Bombana Regency in 2021. The research design to identify the relationship between each variables, and the research design is a case-control study using the Nonparametric Mann Witney U Test. The results showed there were differences in nutritional intake foods containing energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, and personal hygiene and basic service health on the nutritional status of children under five, (P.Value < 0.05), The dependent variable is predicted to support the improvement of nutritional status. This also explains that the reduced intake of these six factors is the cause of malnutrition
