Abstract

This study aims to examine the comparison of discriminatory attitudes in Clara NG's Dimsum Terakhir novel and Naning Pranoto's Miss Lu novel. This study uses a theoretical approach to the sociology of literature and a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are read, listen, and take notes. There are four data analysis techniques, namely (1) describing the data, (2) categorizing the data, (3) inferring the data, and (4) presenting the data. The results of the data analysis of this research show that in the novel Miss Lu and the novel Dimsum Terakhir, the picture of the government at that time had savage and discriminatory behavior towards ethnic Chinese. Ethnic factors cause the problem of all acts of ethnic Chinese discrimination. Discrimination treatment is carried out in five fields, namely (1) the political field, (2) the socio-cultural field, (3) the economic field, (4) the religious field (not appearing in the novel Dimsum Akhir), and (5) the education sector. The difference between the two novels is in the attitude and the way the main character responds to the discrimination that befell them.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is the process of measuring and assessing learning activities, in this case the teacher measures and assesses students using test instruments. This study aims to present the results of the evaluation of bold learning using objective test instruments and explanations. This study uses a descriptive approach approach. Sources of data in this study were grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Tlanakan. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that the implementation of the test instrument boldly in class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tlanakan is more dominantly effective using the description test. This is because by using the description test students are easier and develop their knowledge with their own reasoning. There are three obstacles for students in implementing objective and objective tests, namely (1) problems in terms of working on questions, this is due to students' misunderstandings in learning challenges, (2) constraints during implementation, students cannot ask questions that are not explained clearly. directly to the teacher, and (3) network or internet connection problems for students who live in remote areas.

Abstract

About all educational levels have started offering offline sessions lately, nearly two years after beginning home-study or hybrid classes. When students return to in-person learning at school, there are signs of behavioral changes. This study set out to describe how student behavior changed in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills during face-to-face instruction during the post-pandemic. This study employed a quantitative methodology to address this question by distributing questionnaires to students in elementary, middle, and high schools in the cities of Pamekasan and Mojokerto. For the goal of triangulation, interviews with teachers were also performed in 11 provinces in western Indonesia. s a result, there were both positive and negative behavioral changes among elementary, middle, and high school students. To improve learning, teachers, parents, and students themselves must be able to recognize changes in post-pandemic student behavior. Though it can certainly facilitate human endeavors, teachers' roles as educators have not yet been fully replaced by technology, at least not yet.
