Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure and firm size on profitability and firm value. The total population and sample are 32 real estate property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data is taken from secondary data listed on the IDX from the financial statements of www.idx.com. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple regression analysis and was expanded with path analysis. From the results of regression testing, it can be concluded as follows: Capital structure has a negative and significant effect on profitability, while firm size has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Partially, capital structure and profitability have a positive and significant effect on firm value, while firm size has a negative and insignificant effect. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Profitability as an intervening variable does not mediate the relationship between capital structure and firm size with firm value shown from t arithmetic which is smaller than t table Sobel test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suasana toko, penataan produk, dan harga diskon terhadap pembelian tidak terduga pada Ramayana Departement Store Malioboro dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan dari suasana toko, penataan produk dan harga diskon terhadap pembelian tidak terduga. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat yang mengetahui Ramayana Departement Store Malioboro. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Ramayana Departement Store Malioboro. Sampel dalam penelitin ini sebanyak 80 responden yang pernah berbelanja dan melakukan pembelian tidak terencana di Ramayana Departement Store Malioboro. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara parsial suasana toko berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian tidak terduga dengan nilai 0,359 dan sig 0,000. < 0,05, Penataan produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian tak terduga dengan nilai 0,251 dan sig. 0,022 < 0,05. Potongan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian tak terduga dengan nilai 0,904 dan sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan suasana toko, penataan produk dan potongan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian tak terduga, dibuktikan dengan nilai uji F sebesar 0.000 < 0,05. Pengaruh suasana toko, penataan produk dan potongan harga terhadap pembelian tak terduga dibuktikan dengan nilai Adjusted R2 adalah sebesar 47,9%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how students develop their business in the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Islamic University of Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. This study uses data collection methods in the form of interviews and documentation. The resource persons in this study were Amri and Kiki who were students who entered the world of entrepreneurship. To determine the wetness of the data, the credibility test and transferability test were used. The data testing method uses triangulation while the data analysis method uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. This study found that the business development that students do is cooperation in purchasing, cooperation in solving challenges, starting a business, seeing business opportunities, entrepreneurship capital, choosing a location strategy, marketing strategy, financial strategy, and competitive strategy. Dominating in the development of this business is the business communication strategy through various marketing media that are trending and looking for business opportunities from the surrounding environment.
