Abstract

Family Planning is an effort to control the childbirth in order to realize a quality family. Implants are a means of contraception that the couples of productive age (CPA) are not interested in. Based on data obtained at Medan Sunggal Health Center, implant is the lowest after IUD. This is because there are still many CPA who are afraid to use implants because of their lack of knowledge. The Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling on thee behavior and motivation of CPA about contraceptive implants at Medan Sunggal Health Center. The sampling technique was determined by Accidental Sampling method with 66 respondents. Research type was quasi-experiment with one group pretest posttest design. The results of research obtained by using T test were the value of knowledge, attitude and motivation (P value <0.001). It can be concluded that there is influence of counseling to behavior and motivation of CPA on contraceptive implants.

Abstract

The decision to choose the promotion of the next treatment is a petition which shows up to the health care in the National Health Insurance Indonesian era. The stipulation to promote to the next level of treatment is regulated by Presidential Regulation Number 12 in 2013 about health insurance chapter 24. In this research, the researcher found roommates Several factors influence the petition of health care. This research aims to determine the petition of the promotion to the next level of treatment to the BPJS non PSB Patients at the Royal Hospital Prima in 2018. This research uses cross sectional approach to 90 respondents. The result of this research shows us the which the significant factors influence the selection of the promotion to the next level such as the treatment of hospital facilities, the service facilities, the cost, the ease of information and the perception toward the diseases. The hospital facilities are the most decisive factor toward the petition of the promotion to the next level of treatment to the BPJS non PBI Patients at Royal Prima in 2018. It means that the facilities of the Royal Prima hospital will influence 3697 times of increasing the petition of BPJS non PBI Patients at Royal Prima hospital in 2018. In conclusion, the hospital facilities are the most decisive factor of increasing the petition of BPJS non PBI Patients to the next level of treatment at the Royal Prima Hospital in 2018. The researcher suggests to the management of hospital to provide affordable prices of VIP class.

Abstract

Cataracts are a major cause of vision and blindness not only in Indonesia but also in the world (Ministry of Health, 2015). It is estimated that more than 50% of blindness is caused by cataracts. Phacoemulsification today is more widely used because the most recent cataract surgery method and is preferred because it uses a small incision technique, this causes the incidence of complications related to lower incision wounds, faster healing and visual rehabilitation than procedures that require incisions. the greater one. Tana's research in 2009 stated that the rate of cataract surgery in Indonesia was still low, namely for the Sumatra region as much as 14%. The study aimed to analyze the inhibitors of cataract surgery using phacoemulsification method at SMEC Medan Hospital in 2018. The study was designed using a cross sectional approach in 84 respondents. The results showed that there were significant relationships between work, fearful behavior of operations, access to health services, and access to ease of information with cataract surgery with phacoemulsification methods at Smec Hospital in 2018. There was a significant relationship between behaviors feeling no need for surgery with cataract surgery procedures Phacoemulsification at Smec Hospital in 2018. Feeling afraid of surgery is the main obstacle to cataract surgery with phacoemulsification method at Smec Hospital in 2018. It is recommended for cataract patients who will be able to improve their knowledge and prepare mentally and physically well in dealing with cataract surgery, so as to reduce patient anxiety about cataract surgery better.

Abstract

Delia Langkat Hospital is a private hospital whose owner is PT Delia Oka Arjuna and is a class C hospital. Article 40 paragraph (1) Law number 29 concerning Hospitals is stated that in an effort to improve the quality of hospital services periodic accreditation must be at least three once a year. The Delia Hospital accreditation team was formed but many paramedics refused to become members of the accreditation team. Therefore, a leadership design is needed to support the formation of paramedic commitments in accreditation activities. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on paramedic commitment in the implementation of Delia Hospital accreditation in 2018. The study was designed with a cross sectional approach with a total sample of 79 paramedics. The collected data were analyzed using correlation, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there were significant relationships between steering leadership style, supportive leadership style, role leadership style, achievement-oriented leadership style, caregiver leadership style with paramedic paramedic commitment in the implementation of accreditation at Delia Langkat Hospital in 2018. The conclusion of the study was leadership style achievement-oriented which has the most influence on paramedic commitment in the implementation of accreditation at Delia Langkat Hospital in 2018. It is recommended that leaders and management of hospitals need to pay attention to other factors that can influence the work spirit of paramedics such as: organization, paramedic activities, friends of the work environment itself (peer), the concept of self, personal needs, nature and work. So as to create a high commitment to paramedics.
