Abstract

RINGKASAN: Upaya dosen untuk melakukan inovasi pembelajaran, yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan keaktifan, kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah, dan bekerjasama melalui model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio adalah sejalan dengan filsafat konstruktivisme. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran portofolio terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa di STKIP-PGRI (Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan – Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia) Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen murni dengan menggunakan dua sampel, yaitu kelas VI-C sebagai sampel eksperimen dan kelas VI-D sebagai sampel kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang berbentuk essay. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah non parametris dengan menggunakan uji median, dikarenakan data tidak berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Sejarah Pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari analisis pos-tes hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menghasilkan rata-rata nilai 64.76 dan kelas kontrol 48.65. Hasil kemampuan kelas eksperimen juga lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Begitu juga jika dilihat dari peningkatan menurut nilai ternormalisasi (N-gain), hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen 0.88 dan kelas kontrol 0.62. KATA KUNCI: Model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio, hasil belajar, dosen dan mahasiswa, filsafat konstruktivisme, dan matakuliah sejarah pendidikan di Indonesia.ABSTRACT: “The Influence of Portfolio-Based Learning Model towards Student Learning Outcomes at the STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau”. The efforts of lecturer to innovate learning, which aims to create the activity, students’ ability to solve problems, and work through the model-based learning portfolio are in accordance with the philosophy of constructivism. The research objective was to describe the influence of learning model portfolios towards learning outcomes of students at the STKIP-PGRI (College of Teacher Training and Education – Indonesian Teachers Association) Lubuklinggau. This type of research is pure experimentation using two samples, namely class VI-C as the experimental sample and class VI-D as the control sample. Data collection was using test techniques in the form of an essay. Data analysis technique used is by using the non-parametric median test, because the data are not normally distributed. Based on the results of this study concluded that there is influence of the use of portfolio based-learning models on learning outcomes of students in the course of Education History in Indonesia. It can be seen from the analysis of student results on the post-test of experimental class that generates an average value of 64.76 and 48.65 for the control class. Results of experimental class capabilities are also better than the control class. Abstract

The current era of globalization makes humans very easy to reach an activity. Humans are basically creatures whose lives always undergo alternating phases. So in the current era of globalization, the world of education for the younger generation, especially students, requires character education that builds the nation's wisdom. Character education is through group study or discussion. The purpose of writing this research is to find out character education through discussion activities on STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, which uses observations, interviews, and literature studies to examine research studies. The results of the study note that innovative media in classroom learning in semester V students of STKIP PGRI History Education in Lubuklinggau is very necessary and very helpful in learning. Innovative media applied by lecturers in learning turns out to be able to shape the character of students who were previously passive and feel bored with the learning taught by the lecturer. Students feel there is a responsibility in participating in learning and trying to leave their laziness in the classroom. In addition, character education through discussion activities for STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau students is very helpful in learning to respond to something and foster a high morale and foster a spirit of empathy.

Abstract

The background in this research is about the history of the ethnic Chinese and Arabs in Palembang due to trade in the past that led to relations with the Malay community. The purpose of this study was to determine the life of the Chinese and Arab ethnic communities in the perspective of the history of trade in Palembang City. The method in this research is the historical research method. In this historical research method, there are steps that include: Heuristics (collection of sources) obtained from the results of journal and scientific book reviews, then criticism which consists of external criticism and internal criticism), the data that has been criticized is then adjusted to be suitable for use. in writing scientific articles, the last step is hirtoriography, namely writing history from the results of these sources into scientific writing. The results and discussion are the social life of the Chinese and Arab communities in Palembang, namely the Chinese and Arab communities in Palembang can develop well. Social interaction with the Malay community and other immigrant communities is well maintained. This good relationship creates cultural acculturation through marriage ties with the local community which gives birth to a new culture. Meanwhile, the relationship between the local community and the ethnic Chinese and Arab communities in Palembang was created because of good communication and both as social beings to need each other. Various sentiments against the Chinese and Arab communities over time can be avoided. People can live in peace and harmony by helping the prosperity of the city of Palembang as a city that maintains local history and traditions. The conclusion is that the Malay community can coexist with other ethnic groups that develop in the city of Palembang. This harmonious life is marked by cultural acculturation which adds to the uniqueness of the city of Palembang today.)
