Abstract

Old age is an unavoidable aging process, humans grow old through process which at first started from baby, children, teenager, mature and next Becomes old. All People will certainly experience the process of getting old and this is the most important period of human life end. The size amount population elderly in Indonesia in time front bring impact positive nor negative. Positive impact, if the elderly population is in a healthy, active and productive condition. On the other hand, the large number of elderly people becomes a burden if the elderly have a decline problem health which caused on enhancement cost service health, drop income/income, increase in disability, lack of adequate social and environmental support no friendly to population elderly. Method which worn with To do survey and interviews for data collection, data analysis, data presentation, formulating discussions and Furthermore, communication, information and education (IEC) is given using 2 methods, namely: online by using applications including SMS, zoom, WA and other applications. And how direct that is stage counseling with obey protocol health.

Abstract

There is enhancement level health on public in Indonesia, caused age hope life increase so that the elderly (elderly/elderly) group is increasing in number. This life expectancy as wrong an indicator to measure the degree of public health in Indonesia. Purpose of dedication to community, namely to detect early health if there is a health problem in the community elderly age. Examination can be done according to the needs or history of the disease of the elderly. Target program devotion This is inhabitant village Pittu Langit special his elderly. Method Which used is method education public with counseling, inspection health and gift drug free on elderly. The results of community service activities in Pintu Langgit Village, Angkola Julu District Padang Sidimpuan City carried out well with 30 elderly participants. Conclusions of program devotion This that is Public and Participant Elderly follow activity This very enthusiastic in Health check-up counseling activities and the provision of free medicines were carried out well. This matter proven with enthusiastic Elderly in inspection health. After counseling This Suggested to public specifically age elderly, so that do inspection his health in facility health closest by particularly routine control pressure blood, cholesterol, sugar blood and sour tendon.

Abstract

Indonesia currently still has complex health problems. The degree of public health in Indonesia has not progressed significantly, even though there have been many programs to improve public health status that have been rolled out by the government. The degree of health is largely determined by the health of mothers and children, there are many factors that cause maternal and infant mortality, one of which is poor nutrition during pregnancy which causes complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Community service activities are carried out in residents' homes . Counseling was carried out for 1 (one) day, namely on April 17 2022, at 10.00 WIB until it was finished in Rimba Soping Village, Padangsidimpuan District, Angkola Julu . The material was delivered by providing counseling about the nutrition of pregnant women , then followed by providing snacks with the involvement of 4 DIII Midwifery study program students, Aufa Royhan Padangsidimpuan. Activity counseling which was carried out ran smoothly and was received enthusiastically by the participants as seen from the many pregnant women who asked about information about the nutrition of pregnant women and the participants also understood what should be consumed during pregnancy and the restrictions.
