Abstract

Desain teknologi pada alat komunikasi saat ini merupakan implikasi dari apa yang sebenarnya terjadi dalam lingkungan komunikasi virtual. Lingkungan komunikasi virtual yang diciptakan melalui media elektronik, saat ini dikenal dengan istilah computer mediated communication (CMC). Meskipun beberapa penelitian sebelumnya mengenai CMC yang seringkali dibandingkan dengan percakapan face to face (FTF) telah diterapkan, namun pertanyaan di kalangan peneliti masih ada mengenai apakah efektivitas CMC dalam meningkatkan atau menurunkan proses kelompok? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas pengambilan keputusan melalui FTF dan CMC. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana dalam pengambilan data menggunakan teknik eksperimen dengan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan responden sebanyak delapan orang mahasiswi. Diskusi guna pengambilan keputusan pada kelompok CMC lebih berfokus pada tugas dan memiliki kualitas output yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelompok FTF. Namun apabila dinilai dari segi efektivitas proses pengambilan keputusan kelompok berdasarkan persentase frekuensi kata-kata yang di luar konten, kelompok FTF lebih efektif karena hanya memiliki kata-kata di luar konten kurang dari 1%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tolak ukur efektivitas pengambilan keputusan kelompok melalui diskusi tidak hanya dilihat melalui jumlah kata yang dihasilkan, banyaknya kata di luar konteks, namun juga melibatkan kemampuan intelektual setiap anggota kelompok guna mencapai kualitas output yang baik. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terutama terletak pada segi budaya, karena kondisi yang disajikan sangat berbeda dengan konteks budaya dan kebiasaan di Indonesia. Selain itu keterbatasan sampel yang hanya menggunakan mahasiswi sebagai responden penelitian, pemilihan media komunikasi yang terbatas, kontrol yang kurang.

Abstract

The growing of digital services in the world of banking and the use of cellular telephones by customers, banks provide services in the form of phone and SMS banking that makes it easier for customers to transaction. The existence of digital banking makes it easy and saves time in making transactions. The purpose of this study was to examine the intention of using cell phones in digital banking services base on external factors (easiness, benefit, trust and risk) and internal factors (self efficacy and locus of control). This research model is prepared based on the concept of risk perception and behavior. Respondents in this study were 98 respondents that consist of students and employees. The sampling technique is non-random sampling. SEM model analysis techniques (structural equation model) with the help of the Lisrell 8.7 program. The results of this study indicate that the data obtained in accordance with the proposed model for both internal and external factors influence the intention of using cell phones for digital banking services.

Abstract

Background: Resilience can be defined as the capacity to bounce back from adversity and become smarter and stronger. Saying that resilience is an active process of resilience, self-improvement, and self-growth in response to crises and challenges. Objective: aims to empirically examine the effect of resilience and quality of work life on work engagement for employees who work in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. Methods: using a purposive sampling technique with the samples used are male and female employees who work in the era of the covid-19 pandemic with characteristics aged 23 to 57 years, in companies that apply work from home and work from office. Results: The hypothesis test that has been carried out has a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which shows that there is a significant effect between resilience and quality of work life on work engagement for employees who work in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. Conslusion: Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out in this study, it is known that all the hypotheses proposed in this study can be accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of resilience on work engagement because it has a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), there is a significant influence between quality of work life on work engagement because it has a significance value of 0.000 (<0.01), and there is a significant effect on work engagement. significant relationship between resilience and quality of work life    on    work    engagement    because    it    has    a significance         value        of        0.000        (<0.01).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survey dan teknik purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/I aktif atau fresh graduate yang selama berkuliah sedang atau pernah menjadi konselor sebaya (peer counselor atau yang yang sejenis secara daring dalam suatu komunitas/instansi/layanan kesehatann selama pandemi dengan minimal kegiatan selama 1 bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perilaku altruisme terhadap happiness pada relawan mahasiswa yang menjadi konselor sebaya secara daring selama pandemi. Uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan memproleh signifikansi sebesar 0,001(p< 0,05), artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perilaku altruisme terhadap happiness pada relawan mahasiswa yang menjadi konselor sebaya secara daring selama pandemi. Hasil menunjukkan nilai R square sebesar 0,173 dimana perilaku altruisme mempengaruhi happiness sebesar 17,3 %, sisanya 82,7% dipengaruhi faktor lain diluar penelitian.

Abstract

Work engagement has been a crucial factor to promote employee’s performance. Engaged employees performs better and are more productive. The aim of this study was to examine the influence of job crafting on work engagement work among employees of startup companies in Indonesia. The present study used correlational design. Participants of this study involved 155 employees that work in startup company. They were selected using purposive sampling technique.  Data were collected using the job crafting use Job Crafting Scale (JCS) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES). To determine the effect of job crafting on work engagement, the linier regression analysis was used. From the data analysis, there job crafting significantly affect work engagement among employees of company startups. Furthermore, job crafting explains about 46.4% variance in work engagement, while the rest was explained by other variables beyond this research. The finding of this study implies the crucial need for promoting job crafting practices among startup companies.
