Abstract: Makassar and its surrounding region is the region's most high thunderstrom day in central Indonesia, a total of 150 day/year. This study aims to analyze the thermodynamic profile of thunder clouds in Makassar Hasanuddin Meteorological Station, during the rainy season and dry season, by calculating the thermodynamic variables (saturated vapor pressure, virtual temperature, potential temperature and mixing ratio) vertical per standard isobaric layer. The results showed that both the rainy season and dry season, cloud thermodynamic profiles vertically reduced per standard isobaric layer. The value of each variable tends to be small in the morning, after that gradually increases during the process of cloud formation Guntur. Abstrak: Wilayah Makassar dan sekitarnya merupakan wilayah yang paling tinggi hari guruhnya di Indonesia bagian tengah, sebanyak 150 hari/tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa profil termodinamika awan guntur di Stasiun Meteorologi Hasanuddin Makassar, saat musim hujan dan musim kemarau, dengan menghitung nilai variabel-variabel termodinamika (tekanan uap jenuh, temperatur virtual, temperatur potensial dan nisbah percampuran) secara vertikal per lapisan standar isobarik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik saat musim hujan maupun musim kemarau, profil termodinamika awan berkurang secara vertikal per lapisan standar isobarik. Nilai masing-masing variabel cenderung kecil saat pagi hari, setelah itu berangsur-angsur meningkat saat proses pembentukan awan Guntur.
