Abstract

Cassava is one of the animal feeds, namely poultry and fish feed, etc. Its use is very beneficial for farmers easily to get this material. The processing of cassava is by chopping small cassava by chopping manul. This method is felt to be less efficient for a large amount because it will take a lot of time and energy, so by making the solution with a wake up design. in this design, it is devoted to the calculation of its components. In this design, the power used is 3.519 kw with a 2000 rpm engine speed, turning a 40 mm shaft using a 3 inch pulli 4 inch pulli with a 1500 rpm dish rotation using a V type A belt, with 9 blades in the tube.

Abstract

Plate roll machine is a tool used to make materials into other forms as the basic material for making gutters. To get good rolling quality and in accordance with the basic ingredients for making machines. The question of roll machine rolls is done to analyze the yield and rolling quality. From the observation of 6061-O aluminum plate with 23 rpm (n) rotation, the results of rolling are 8 pieces, 36 rpm (n) rotation, 9 pieces of rolling results, and 44 rpm yield (n) rolling produces a wave of 11 pieces. The results of rolling with a slight wave defect and will be used as the basic material for making gutters.

Abstract

Pada umumnya roda skateboard menggunakan bahan polyurethane yang tidak ramah lingkungan, dan harganya relatif mahal. Oleh kerena itu dalam penelitian ini akan di desain cetakan dan pembuatan roda komposit dengan menggunakan serbuk batang pisang, Bahan baku yang di gunakan adalah serbuk batang pisang yang telah di keringkan. Adapun campuran bahan yang digunakan terdiri dari serbuk batang pisang, Katalis, Resin polyester tak jenuh sebagai matrixnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah desain dan pembuatan cetakan roda skateboard. dan pembuatan roda skateboard berbahan komposit polimer serbuk batang pisang. Pembuatan roda skateboard komposit dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pengecoran dan penekanan. Pada cetakan roda komposit bagian atas menggunakan tabung bahan baja ST 37 dengan ketebalan 2 mm dengan diameter 2 ̎, dan tinggi 5,5 cm dan bagian bawah dengan ukuran panjang 12 cm, dan lebar 7,5 cm.

Abstract

Cows really need quality food, of course, a lot of quality cow feed is obtained from the process of fermentation. For the implementation of cattle feed through the process of fermentation can not be separated from the stirring process or mixing the basic ingredients of feed added with other added ingredients. The purpose of the design: Planning the engine speed and driving power, planning the main components of the machine used, and finally making the draft work plan. Abstract

The process of making cracker material slicing machines has the main components that want to be worked on starting from making a shaft, blade plate, inlet, outlet, engine frame, blade shield, pendulum, connecting rod, conveyor rail, and pressure rod. First stage carried out in the manufacturing process, namely identifying machine components, then making the process of making machines with several stages, namely the process of procurement of materials, measurement process, cutting process, turning process, drilling process, welding process, grinding process and workpiece assembly process. The machines used in the process of making these machine parts are cutting grinding machines, lathes, drilling machines / drilling machines, welding machines, and hand grinding machines. The number of components worked is 10 pieces, and the total number of components of the cracker slicer is 23 fruit. The time of making this machine takes 15.7 hours

Abstract

Mesin pemecah buah aren adalah mesin yang digunakan untuk proses pemecahan buah aren.Mesin yang di uji berkapasitas 50 kg/jam menggunakan mekanisme poros,roda gigi,puli ,elektro motor dan reduser. Pengujian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kapasitas produksi, kualitas, daya produksi dan effisiensi mesin, pelaksanaan uji dilakukan dari bahan baku yang digunakan adalah aren dengan density yaitu 0.70 kg/liter dengan ukuran rata-rata diameter 5 cm.Dari hasil pengujian ternyata diperoleh kapasitas maximum sebesar 23,74 kg/jam untuk aren density 0.70 kg/liter yang bekerja pada putaran 72 rpm, sedangkan density 0.70 kg/liter kapasitas maximum 19,047 kg/jam yang bekerja pada putaran 60 rpm, kapasitas maximum sebesar 15,78 kg/jam untuk aren density 0.70 kg/liter yang bekerja pada putaran 48 rpm, yang cenderung diakibatkan oleh gaya inersia yang dihasilkan dari putaran, effisiensi mesin dan daya produksi untuk density 0.70 kg/liter pada putaran 60 rpm besarnya effisiensi mesin 11,5% dengan daya produksi 16,43 watt/kg sedangkan untuk density 0,70 kg/liter pada putaran 72 rpm  effisiensi mesin 40,1 % dengan daya produksi 16,63watt/kg pada putaran 48 rpm  effisiensi mesin 15,7% dengan daya produksi 16,7watt/kg.

Abstract

The aim of this study to study the effect of the Equal Channel Angular Pressing process the mechanical properties of aluminum silicon with annealing temperature of 300 ° C. An aluminum silicon rod with a length of 40 mm and a width of 9.5 mm in diameter is passed to the ECAP mold with a mold flow angle of 120 °. Material hardness and microstructure of materials before and after the ECAP process are examined and compared. The results showed that after the ECAP process, the hardness of aluminum silicon in the longitudinal section increased and was fairly evenly distributed, ie, at annealing time of 10 minutes the hardness value was 54.30 BHN, at 15 minutes resistance the hardness increased to 55.08 BHN and 25 minutes the hardness value rose to 55.69 BHN, as well as the microstructure showed that the longer the time annealed, the finer the grains on silicon aluminum.

Abstract

In today's development, metal materials are widely used for various components that can withstand large loads due to their excellent durability and strength. Although composite materials have been found as a substitute for metal, not all machine elements can be replaced with composite materials. as metal functions like bolts. In this case, the bolt failed in the form of a fracture. Therefore it is necessary to research to analyze the failure. This study describes the mechanical properties obtained from the results of bolt testing, which includes tensile testing, hardness testing, and microstructural testing by first being heat treated. The results of the tensile strength test of the specimen for conditions without heat treatment, hardening temperature 850°C, tempering 550°C, and tempering 500°C were 3392.78 MPa, 3478.55 MPa, 3449.95 MPa, and 3402,30 MPa respectively. The hardness values ​​of untreated specimens, hardening 850°C, tempering at 550°C, and tempering at 500°C were 297.4 HRC, 360.8 HRC, 343.2 HRC,  and 329.7 HRC. And in testing the microstructure of the influence of air conditioning media and temperature differences, it produces three microstructures ferrite, pearlite, and martensite.

Abstract

Mesin penutup dan pengunci tutup botol otomatis adalah alat yang akan dirancang untuk menutup botol dengan sistem pemutar otomatis tanpa bantuan tangan manusia. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu mesin untuk memperlancar dan mempercepat proses produksi agar bisa menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dalam waktu produksi yang cepat dan tepat sesuai dengan target perusahaan. Sehingga produk minuman dalam kemasan tersebut bisa memenuhi permintaan pasar yang luas sampai kepelosok nusantara bahkan sampai Internasional. Pembangunan dan Pertumbuhan UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) menjadi salah satu pengerak yang sangat penting bagi pembangunan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di banyak negara, tidak terkecuali Indonesia (Tunky & Kohardinata, 2016). UMKM ini adalah masalah packaging yang masih menggunakan alat tradisional, dari packaging yang kurang baik akan menimbulkan kualitas dari produk tersebut menurun.untuk itu dibutuhkan alat yang lebih sederhana untuk melakukan produksi tersebut yang ditujukan untuk bidang usaha kecil dan menengah

Abstract

Currently, many people create a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (UMKM) for their source of income, both in terms of businesses engaged in the culinary world, fashion (fashion), and so on. One of them is the mineral water business in packaging. In this business, of course, the business owner must make a tool in order to meet the demands of consumers in terms of time and good results in the shortest possible time. This is the basis for the author to design an automatic filling machine with an MSME scale that will help business owners of bottled Mineral Water by pressing lower prices and making its application simpler for ordinary people to use technology. In designing the filling unit in this automatic liquid filling machine, a simple filling system is used. Nozzle only serves to stop the liquid flowing, continue the flow of water using only gravity as pressure to drain the liquid. The filling system in this liquid filling uses PLC as the main driving unit. . In the ladder diagram there are also several types of commands that are most often used in programming such as the TON (Time On Delay) command whose function is to determine the time of each automation process. The next command is the CTU (Counter Up) command whose function is to set the number of bottles that will be read by the sensor. In this study, the average speed for filling is Automatic filling of 500ml bottles takes about 15.62 seconds, while in 250 ml bottles requires a charging time of 7.81 seconds. In the design also found delay caused by automatic system programming of 3 seconds when pneumatic down, and 1 second when pneumatic up. So that in 1 minute, filling a 500ml bottle with a filling time of 15.62 plus a delay of 4 seconds, then in 1 minute the filling machine can fill 12 500ml bottles.
