Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to calculate half-life and literature obsolescence of Journal Skala Husada "The Journal of Health" Volume 11 and 12, No. 1 and 2 in 2014 and 2015. The study was calculated based on the citations by each article. This study used quantitative methods, the unit analysis of this research are the articles of Journal Skala Husada "The Journal of Health" Volume 11 and 12, No. 1 and 2, in 2014 and 2015, which having citations with the year of issue. In these journals have a total 68 articles 736 citations. Based on the calculations, the highest hal-life is 8,9 years and the lowest half-life is 5,6 years, while the half-life average Journal Skala Husada "The Journal of Health" Volume 11 and 12, No. 1 and 2 of 2014 and 2015 is 6.8 years. Half-life of Journal Skala Husada "The Journal of Health" Volume 11 and 12, No. 1 and 2 in 2014 and 2015 was 6.8 years, meaning that literature which has more than 6.8 years should be reconsidered to be used as a reference while those with less than 6.8 years of age can be used as a reference for information provided is considered still relevant Keywords : half-life, obsolescence

Abstract

This study is a quantitative descriptive research that aims to determine of the user information needs in the Library SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar. This research is located at SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar Jl. Tirtanadi No. 19, Sanur, South Denpasar, Denpasar City, Bali 80238. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, literature study, and observation. The population of this study are students and teachers who are members of the library that is as many as 1.322 people. In the sample calculation using slovin formula with 10% error obtained the result of the sample number of 93 people, while the sampling method using purposive random sampling. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis by using frequency distribution formula P = fn × 100%. The results of this study indicate that the existing collection in the Library SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar is complete and adequate, but of the user information needs has not been full fill. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the management of deposit collections in the Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Bali, Which is held from April to May of 2017. Collection management must be done in the library to facilitate the retrieval of collections in need. This research is descriptive with qualitative approach. Informants in this research are staff and Section Head of Deposit, Section Head of Library Collection and Material Processing Development at Bali Archive and Library Service Office. The process of collecting data is done by interview and observation method. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, it appears that the collection of deposit management in the Office of Archives and Library of Bali Province has done the best effort. The collection collection process starts from the collection planning done by hunting. This hunting activity is done by referring to Law Number 4 of 1990 concerning the transfer of printed and recording works. But even though already guided by the law still there are still publishers who have not meyerahkan results of his work to the Office of Archives and Library of Bali Province. Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative research that aims to evaluate of mobile library service Badung regency. The independent variable in this research is library service and dependent variable is user satisfaction. The subject of this research is the users of mobile library Badung regency. The study was conducted in April 2017. The total population is 271 users while the total sample is 162 users. The techniques of collecting data with questionnaires distribution, literature study, and observation. The sampling techniques used is Proportionate Random Sampling. The data that which have been processed presented in table form. The results of this research indicates that users feel happy when the mobile library comes, so they suggest that mobile libraries are more often visit their places. The quality of library services affect to the user satisfaction, because if better services are given so user satisfaction increase. Keywords: Mobile Library, Library Service, User Satisfaction
