Abstract

This study aims to discuss the inspiration of the Qur'an and hadith in the design of infused water for the restoration of the health of the elderly Covid-19 survivors. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is design thinking. While the object of this research material is the inspiration of the Qur'an and hadith about infused water. The context of this research is the recovery of the health of elderly Covid-19 survivors. The results of the research and discussion show that the Qur'an emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and encourages humans to consume good foods such as dates, while the hadith teaches the making of nabiz in the form of water soaked in dates. The content of this sacred text became the inspiration for designing infused water for the recovery of the health of elderly Covid-19 survivors. The conclusion of this study is that the inspiration of the Holy Qur'an and Hadith texts in designing infused water with design thinking procedures has resulted in benefits for the recovery of the health of elderly Covid-19 survivors.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the effectiveness of scientific article writing exercises among students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The formal object of this research is training and mentoring. The material object is writing scientific articles. The scope of this research is undergraduate students. Meanwhile, the context is the Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah, Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar State Islamic University. The results of the research and discussion showed that 20 article manuscripts were achieved from a total of 45 student participants, where this success was supported by policy, student motivation, availability of modules, implementation of reviews and feedback, and excitement. This research concluded that training and mentoring were effective at the pre-, implementation and post-activity stages.

Abstract

This research aims to offer the idea of a continuum academic writing project. This research uses a qualitative approach by applying the design thinking method. The results of the research and discussion show that the continuum academic writing project is a series of student scientific publication activities starting from writing articles continuously without being limited to semesters. This research concludes that the continuum academic writing project has the potential to be a solution to the problem of publishing student scientific articles which can support the higher education scientific publication industry in Indonesia.
