Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of zakat, infaq, and alms funds in improving the welfare of the underprivileged in Indonesia, such as the title of the journal above, namely "The Role of Zakat, Infaq and Alms as Contributors of Welfare Improvement for People in Need." zis. Zakat, infaq, and alms are one of the forms of worship of a Muslim with the aim of seeking the pleasure of Allah SWT. In doing zakat, infaq, and alms can reduce the amount of poverty that exists. Therefore, a management body is needed that can take care of zakat, infaq, and alms and can improve the welfare of the poor. Like in LAZISNU Jatiroto, which carried out the G-KOIN NU work program and goat breeding
