<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of applying the snowball throwing method to learning achievement in Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 05 Bogor City. The research method used is the experimental method with the type of research using a quasi experiment in the form of a pre test post test control group design. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect on student achievement in PAI learning after the snowball throwing method is implemented in class. Based on the hypothesis test using the Mann Whitney-U test, the post test average value of the two classes was 88.13> 70.67 which was superior to the experimental class compared to the control class. There are several suggestions that can be used from this study as considerations in applying the snowball throwing method to improve student achievement. Thus, in the future the snowball throwing method can be a solution as an alternative to PAI learning. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam di SMA Negeri 05 Kota Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian menggunakan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dalam bentuk desain pre test post test control group design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI setelah diterapkannya metode di kelas. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji mann whitney-u test diperoleh nilai rata-rata post test kedua kelas tersebut 88,13>70,67 yang lebih unggul pada kelas eksperimen dibanding kelas kontrol. Ada beberapa saran yang bisa dipakai dari penelitian ini sebagai pertimbangan dalam menerapkan metode snowball throwing untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian, metode snowball throwing ke depannya dapat menjadi solusi sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran PAI.]]>
