In the current era of globalization and modernization, competition for quality and excellence cannot be avoided. So that in this era it is not enough if you only have good morals, but you also need to be equipped with expertise or skills that are relevant to work needs. Islamic boarding schools as non-formal educational institutions are also expected to be able to equip students in real life to solve problems that will be faced later in social life and be able to compete in this era. On the basis of this background, the researcher posed the following research questions: (1) what are the life skills development activities of salafi students (2) what is the role of Islamic boarding schools in developing the life skills of salafi students. This research is a qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. As for data analysis using flow model analysis which includes: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) Life skill development activities at the Tahfizhil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School are integrated into activities in the boarding school, such as bahsu matsa-il, deliberations, muhadoroh, extracurriculars, and others. (2) The Tahfidzil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School for Girls according to its function acts as a facilitator and educates the development of life skills of student.
