Reading is one of the skills that all students should know from elementary school to high school. Based on observations made in the first week of KKN activities in Jabiren Raya village, the reading comprehension of junior high school students has not met expectations. Many students are unable to define the points of a children's story and summarize its content in a few sentences. Based on the above problems, KKN students in Jabiren Raya village want to improve their students' learning abilities by organizing open class activities and school learning in Jabiren Raya village which aims to pay special attention to students. The method used in this problem is iterative and continuous learning where students are taught more intensely and still with two-way communication. The results that are the focus of this study will help junior high school students in Jabiren village to improve reading skills, because from the observations made it was found that many students still do not have good reading skills. The purpose of this activity is to hope that students' reading skills will improve precisely because of the additional time devoted to reading. This activity brought positive results, where the reading ability of junior high school students improved.
