Abstract

The large number of underage marriages in Indonesia has made the government try to issue regulations that can provide legal certainty for marital dispensation regulated in Perma Number 5 of 2019. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the procedure for submitting requests for marital dispensation regulated in Perma Number 5 of 2019. 2019. This type of research is normative with a statutory approach. The data used is secondary data consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. The procedure for submitting an application for marital dispensation regulated in Perma Number 5 of 2019 starts from the application regulated in Article 6 to Article 9, examination of cases is regulated in Articles 10 to Article 18 and legal remedies are regulated in Article 19. For this reason, it is recommended that the party submitting the application marriage dispensation complies with all applicable requirements and procedures.
