Abstract

Learning concentration is needed in any learning process. If students cannot concentrate on the ongoing lesson, then the impact will be detrimental to the students themselves because they do not get anything from the lesson. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between breakfast behavior and sleep quality with the concentration of learning of SMA Negeri 88 Jakarta students. This study uses quantitative analytics with a Cross Sectional research design. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with a total of 146 people. The analysis of this study used univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square statistical test. Univariate results showed that 68.8% of students concentrated on learning well, 82.9% of students had breakfast behavior and 65.8% of students had good sleep quality. Bivariate test results show there is a relationship between breakfast behavior (Pvalue = 0.000) and there is a relationship between sleep quality and learning concentration (Pvalue = 0.000)

Abstract

Concentration is a person's ability to concentrate attention to one particular thing or object, fora relatively long and very long time necessary in the learning process. The aim of this research is to find out The Relationship between Breakfast and Gender Characteristics with Concentration Study. Research with a Cross Sectional design involved 137 students taken by simple random sampling. Concentration was measured using a Stroop test. The measurement of the independent variable is gender characteristics and breakfast consumption habits, the measurement of the dependent variable is Study Concentration. Analysis data using Chi square with statistical software. Univariate results show amounting to 57.7% of students who have poor concentration, students who do not 55.5% of students have breakfast, 50.4% of students are of the same gender Woman. The bivariate test results show that there is a relationship between the characteristics gender (Pvalue = 0.000), breakfast consumption (Pvalue = 0.000) with concentration on learning for students at Raflesia Vocational School, Depok.
