Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan guru biologi dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah ditinjau dari kompetensi pedagogik di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan sampel lima orang guru dari populasi sebanyak tujuh orang guru. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitiannya adalah tingkat kemampuan guru biologi dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 ditinjau dari kompetensi pedagogik di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sleman yaitu satu orang guru dengan kategori sangat mampu, tiga orang guru dengan kategori mampu, serta satu orang guru dengan kategori cukup mampu.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 interms of pedagogic competence of biology teachers in SMA Negeri Kecamatan Ilir Barat 1 Palembang. This was a survey study and the data were collected from principals, teachers of biology class XI, and grade XI students of the science program of senior high schools in Ilir Barat 1 Palembang District, that have implemented Curriculum 2013, in the academic year of 2014/2015. The research instruments were questionnaires, interviews, observation guides, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using the qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows. Biology teachers’ readiness level to implement Curriculum 2013 in terms of pedagogic competence in state senior high schools in Ilir Barat 1 PalembangDistrict is that one teacher is in a very prepared category with a percentage of 83% and three teachers are in the ready category each having a percentage of 81%, 71%, and 71% subsequently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase tingkat penguasaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA di Kecamatan Sako dan Kecamatan Alang-alang Lebar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan nontes dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan Ms. Excel dengan menghitung persentase tingkat penguasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kecamatan Sako terkategori rendah dengan persentase sebesar 38,99% dan Kecamatan Alang-alang Lebar terkategori sedang dengan persentase 52,99%. Indikator yang terkategori rendah di Kecamatan Sako adalah menganalisis 40,09%, mengevaluasi 25,82%, dan menjelaskan 34,97%. Indikator tertinggi adalah pengaturan diri 53,27%. Di Kecamatan Alang-alang Lebar indikator dengan persentase terendah adalah mengevaluasi 43,52% dan tertinggi adalah pengaturan diri 59,03%.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan sebagai upaya dalam menyelamatkan lingkungan dari bahaya limbah plastik. Model kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian adalah bentuk Pelatihan keterampilan seni daur ulang limbah kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam mengolah limbah plastik di lorong pedatukkan darat Kelurahan 12Ulu Kota Palembang. Adapun manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan masyarakat di lingkungan kelurahan 12 ulu lorong Pedatukkan Darat terbebas dari sampah plastik sehingga tidak terlihat lagi sampah-sampah plastik yang mencolok dari kejauhan. Kegiatan pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan baik dan berhasil, dilihat dari keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan (100%), ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan (85%), dan kemampuan peserta dan penguasaan materi (80%). Kegiatan pengabdian dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu rumah tangga tentang pengelolaan sampah anorganik terutama plastik menjadi aneka kreasi tas daur ulang, serta memberdayakan mereka dalam pengelolaan sampah anorganik berupa plastik menjadi aneka kreasi tas daur ulang.Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan, limbah plastik, daur ulang, lingkungan, kelurahan 12 Ulu.Abstract The Community Service activities are carried out with the aim of efforts to save the environment from the dangers of plastic waste. The model of the activities carried out in the service activities is a form of training in the recycling of art skills to housewives in processing plastic waste in the terrain of land terrain in the 12Ulu sub-district of Palembang City. As for the benefits of community service activities, it is expected that the community in the neighborhood of 12 ulu Pedatukan Darara corridors will be free from plastic waste, so that no visible plastic waste can be seen from a distance. Overall service activities can be said to be good and successful, seen from the success of the target number of trainees (100%), achievement of training objectives (85%), and participants' ability and mastery of the material (80%). Service activities can increase the knowledge of housewives about the management of inorganic waste, especially plastic, into various recycled bag creations, and empower them in managing inorganic waste in the form of plastic into various recycled bag creations.Keywords: Empowerment, plastic waste, recycling, environment, 12 Ulu village.

Abstract

Learning in the 2013 curriculum in schools is carried out using a scientific approach. The scientific approach is closely related to the scientific method. The scientific method is the root of the scientific approach which in practice is not separate from each other. The purpose of this study was to find out the feasibility of a scientific approach through observing, asking, trying or collecting information, associating, and communicating in the learning process of biology in Palembang City State High School. This research is included in survey research with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The study was carried out in 18 state high schools in the city of Palembang which have implemented the 2013 Curriculum. The research subjects consisted of 18 representatives of the school principal in the curriculum, 18 biology teachers who taught in class XI, and 1200 students in the XI class majoring in science. Teacher sampling was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments in this study include questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, interview sheets, and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of a scientific approach to the learning process in the 2013 curriculum implementation in the Palembang category of Very Good City High School with the percentage for components observing as much as 76.84%, the asking component of 73.03%, the component trying / collecting information of 76.43 %, the associating component is 75.76%, and the component communicates as much as 79.45%.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sangat diperlukan karena peserta dituntut untuk lebih tanggap dalam memecahkan masalah dan menyelesaikan masalah yang terdapat di dalam pembelajaran, terutama dalam pembelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase tingkat penguasaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di Kecamatan Kalidoni dan Ilir Timur II. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian yaitu 4 SMA yang Negeri dan Swasta yang terakreditasi A dan B. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling. Teknik Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, soal keterampilan berpikir kritis dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggukan Ms. Excel dengan menghitung tingkat penguasaan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hasil Penelitian  menunjukan persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA di kecamatan Kalidoni sebesar 50,95% dengan kategori sedang dan di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II sebesar 50,43% dikategorikan sedang. Indikator tertinggi di Kecamatan Kalidoni ditunjukan pada indikator pengaturan diri sebesar 64,29% dan terendah pada indikator mengevaluasi 41,27% dan indikator tertinggi di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II ditunjukan pada indikator pengaturan diri sebesar 65,81% dan terendah pada indikator menjelaskan 46,83%.
