Abstract

Abstract During the 2023 period, the Class II Magelang correctional center received requests for 83 community research cases regarding children, the most cases of which occurred were cases of theft, brawls and sharp weapons. When dealing with children who are in conflict with the law, they need assistance from state officials such as community counselors. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how important a role community counselors play in the juvenile justice process through the perspective of Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. The method used is qualitative research, namely carrying out a case study approach. In this research, data collection used data collection techniques through documentation, interviews and observations carried out from January to February. The results of this research show that the role of community counselors in the juvenile justice process is very crucial, even though there are several obstacles in guiding child clients. The Magelang Correctional Center can prove that these obstacles are not a big problem, this is proven by the achievement of 1st place in the best UPT in terms of pursuing interests. best for children in 2023

Abstract

Film piracy on digital platforms has become an increasingly troubling problem for copyright holders. With the increasing accessibility of the internet, copyrighted films can easily be distributed illegally on various platforms without permission. This article investigates the challenges faced by copyright holders in protecting their works from piracy on digital platforms. This research uses legal analysis methods and literature studies to identify the main obstacles and possible solutions to overcome this problem. The research results show that copyright protection against film piracy requires a holistic approach, involving collaboration between government, industry and digital platforms. In addition, the implementation of copyright protection technology and education to the public about the impact of piracy on the film industry is also needed. This article also reviews various legal and technological strategies that can be used to reduce film piracy on digital platforms. Thus, this article provides important insights for copyright holders, policy makers, and legal practitioners in their efforts to protect film copyrights from piracy on digital platforms.

Abstract

Peran masyarakat dalam menetapkan peraturan-undangan sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa peraturan yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan aspirasi masyarakat. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam proses legislasi meningkatkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan legitimasi hukum. Dalam konteks demokrasi, keterlibatan ini memungkinkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan untuk menyuarakan pandangan mereka, memberikan masukan yang konstruktif, dan mengawasi proses pembuatan kebijakan. Metode partisipasi yang umum mencakup konsultasi publik, forum diskusi, dan penyampaian aspirasi melalui media. Keterlibatan ini membantu mengidentifikasi potensi masalah dan solusi praktis, sehingga peraturan yang dihasilkan lebih komprehensif dan aplikatif. Oleh karena itu, meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat dalam penyusunan peraturan-undangan merupakan langkah strategis untuk menciptakan hukum yang lebih responsif dan berkeadilan.
