Abstract

According to the Health Profile of Banten Province in 2019, the number of babies who were exclusively breastfed was 56.1%, while the City of Tangerang itself was 64.5%. This figure is still below the government target that has been set for the success of breastfeeding by 80%. Research objectives is the effect of breastfeeding counseling on breastfeeding practices for postpartum mothers at RSIA Tiara Cikupa in 2022. Research method used preexperimental with one group pre test post test design. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique and the sample size in the study was 30 postpartum mothers who had babies aged less than 6 months at RISA Tiara Cikupa. The research instrument used leaflets, teaching aids on how to breastfeed, and the LATCH questionnaire. Bivariate analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that before being given counseling on how to breastfeed the respondents had an average value of breastfeeding practice of 2.63, while after being given counseling on how to breastfeed the respondents had an average value of breastfeeding practice of 6.57. There are differences in breastfeeding practices for postpartum mothers before and after being given breastfeeding counseling at RSIA Tiara Cikupa in 2022 with a p value of 0.001 0.05. It is hoped that they will further increase knowledge and skills about correct breastfeeding by following consultations with health workers, so that they can carry out correct breastfeeding practices effectively. independently and properly to improve the health status of mothers and babies.

Abstract

Complete basic immunization plays a role in suppressing the spread of disease so that it is beneficial for immunity. In reducing the incidence of disease, complete basic immunization is needed to reduce disease in society as a whole.Purpose of Writing: for Education Relations, Parity Status and Mother's Knowledge About Booster Immunization With Children's Complete Basic Immunization. Research Methods: the sample was taken by all mothers who had toddlers aged 24-59 months. data collection using secondary and primary data. primary and secondary data collection. research design cross sectional quantitative approach. Research Results : In the results of the study, the majority of mothers with high school education (SMA) were 32 people (55.2%), parity status of primipara mothers were 29 people (50.0%), good knowledge of 26 people (44.8%) . There is a relationship between parity and knowledge of complete basic immunization with an asym sig 2 tailed value of 0.05 for parity status and 0.000 for knowledge. There was no relationship between education and complete basic immunization, which resulted in an asym sig 2 tailed value of 0.887. Conclusions and Suggestions: In providing education to mothers having babies 0-59 months, midwives can collaborate with other health teams, in providing health education about immunization.

Abstract

Short term stunting can affect mental abilities and unoptimally learning, low academic achievement, developmental delays, decreased immune function, decreased cognitive function, and disorders of the burning system. Various ways are carried out so that long-term effects can be prevented and handled appropriately. Based on the foregoing then researchers are interested in conducting research with the title Factors related to Stunting Incidents in children aged 6-2 years at the Tanah Merah Health Center, Boven Digoel Regency, Papua Province, April 13 - May 13, 2023. Knowing what factors are related to the incident Stunting in children aged 6-2 years at the Tanah Merah Health Center, Boven Digoel Regency, Papua Province, April 13 - May 13, 2023.The type of research used is descriptive analytic research carried out using cross sectional methods with univariate and bivariate data analysiswith the help of the computer program SPSS version 20.Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.464, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the incidence of shunting in children aged 6-2 years with the age of the mother and the OR 2.500 results which can be concluded that the age of the mother is 2.5 times influencing the incidence of stunting in children aged 6- 2 years. statistical test results obtained p value = 0.151, it can be concluded that there is no relation between the incidence of shunting in children aged 6-2 years and the mother's education. Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.431, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the incidence of shunting in children aged 6-2 years with exclusive breastfeeding and the OR results of 0.556 which can be concluded that exclusive breastfeeding 0.5 times affects the incidence of shunting in children aged 6- 2 years. Statistical test results obtained p value = 0,Expected factorsthat affect eventsStunting in children aged 6-2 years can be used as a guideline in preventing stunting in the future.

Abstract

Background: Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers in November 2023 at village midwives in Kalangsari Village, it was found that there were 38 primigravida mothers giving birth. Among the 38 primigravida patients, an observation was made that 25 primigravida mothers were not accompanied by their husbands when they were about to give birth. Thirteen primigravida mothers were accompanied by their husbands when they were about to give birth. The results of interviews with 13 primigravida mothers showed that the psychological condition of mothers who were accompanied by their husbands felt more confident and their level of anxiety was not too high compared to mothers who gave birth without their husbands' assistance. Objective: To know the factors that influence the success of PENA SUASI Karawang in 2022. Methodology: the research design is cross sectional. The sample used in this study was the total population, namely 30 mothers giving birth. The analysis used was the chi square test. Results: age, education, occupation and attitude, the only significant results being work, obtained a p-value of 0.005 (ơ <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between work and the success of PENASUASI in giving birth mothers. It is hoped that the family or the husband can understand more about the importance of Family Support and Standby Husband (PENASUASI) during the mother's pregnancy and childbirth.

Abstract

Background: In early pregnancy, many mothers experience complaints of nausea, vomiting, especially in the morning, which is known as morning sickness or in medical language known as emesis gravidarum. Symptoms of emesis gravidarum in pregnant women can be treated both with conventional and non-conventional treatments or often referred to as complementary therapy, namely with herbal plants that are easily available such as lemongrass, lemon, peppermint leaves and the most popular is ginger. Research Objectives: To determine the effectiveness of consuming warm ginger milk juice in reducing emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women at PMB Karawang City in 2023 Research Methods: The type of research used in this study is quasi-experimental and post test only design one group. The population in this study were 54 mothers. The sample in this study were 35 mothers who were in PMB Karawang City. Bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The average frequency of emesis gravidarum in 1st trimester pregnant women before being given warm ginger juice was 9.97, a standard deviation of 1.636, a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 13. The average frequency of emesis gravidarum in 1st trimester pregnant women after being given consumption warm ginger milk juice is 5.54, a standard deviation of 1.039, a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7. Conclusion: It can be concluded that consumption of warm ginger milk juice is effective in reducing emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women at PMB Karawang City in 2023.

Abstract

Background The WHO has classified vitamin A deficiency as a public health problem affecting approximately one-third of children aged 6 to 59 months in 2013. According to the data from the Health Office of Banten Province, the administration of vitamin A capsules to toddlers aged 6-59 months is 81.3%. In a preliminary study conducted at the Delima Posyandu of Binuang Public Health Center, there were 220 toddlers. The interview results from 15 mothers with toddlers revealed that 6 mothers (40%) were compliant in giving vitamin A capsules to their children, while 9 mother’s (60%) were not compliant. This non-compliance is attributed to the mothers' lack of knowledge regarding the benefits of administering vitamin A for the health of their toddlers. Research Objective: The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and compliance with giving vitamin A capsules to toddlers at Posyandu Delima of Binuang Public Health Center Serang Regency in 2023. Research Methods: This study is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population comprises all mothers with toddlers who visit the Posyandu Delima at Binuang Public Health Center, Serang Regency. The sample size for this research was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a total of 69 individuals. Research Results: The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and compliance with giving vitamin A capsules to toddlers, with a regression coefficient value of 76.5%, using the binary logistic regression model equation = -4,096+0,765x. Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and compliance with giving vitamin A capsules to toddlers at Posyandu Delima, Binuang Public Health Center Serang Regency. It is hoped that mothers who have toddlers will always pay attention to their children's health by eating foods that contain vitamin A and consuming vitamin A capsules according to schedule to meet their vitamin A needs.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the problem most often experienced by young women is vaginal discharge. In medical circles, vaginal discharge is known as leukorrhea or fluor albus, which is a discharge from the vagina. Vaginal discharge is a candida fungal infection in female genitalia and is caused by organisms such as yeast, namely candida albicans. Under normal circumstances, the vagina produces fluid that is clear, odorless, colorless, not excessive in quantity and not accompanied by itching. Vaginal discharge is the most common complaint found in women. Vaginal discharge can occur in normal circumstances (physiological), but can also be a symptom of a disorder that must be treated (pathological). The research used was a Quasy Experiment type of research to determine the difference in the effectiveness of giving boiled water from green betel leaves and soursop leaves on vaginal discharge in young women at SMA Negeri 4 Serang Banten with a Two Group Pretest - Posttest research design. Respondents were divided into 2 groups, namely the betel leaf group and the soursop leaf group, each group numbering 45 people. With univariate and bivariate analysis. With the results of the Wilcoxon test, which obtained a significance value of 0.001 (p<0.05), it can be concluded "there is a significant difference in the effect of boiled green betel leaf water on vaginal discharge" and the results of the Wilcoxon test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05 ), it can be concluded "there is a significant difference in the effect of boiled soursop water on vaginal discharge".

Background: Coverage Of Infants Who Received Exclusive Breastfeeding In Bogor City In 2018 Was 45.42% Then In 2019 It Increased By 53.12%, In 2020 It Decreased By 51.06% And In 2021 It Decreased Again, Namely 48.58% Of 1860 Babies Examined. The Decrease In Exclusive Breastfeeding In Infants In 2021 Shows That There Is A Lack Of Concern And Awareness Of Mothers And Families About The Importance Of Breast Milk. Efforts That Can Be Made To Increase Breast Milk Production By Doing Massages Such As Woolwich Massage. Research Objective To Find Out Whether Woolwich Massage Can Increase Breast Milk Production In Postpartum Mothers. Research Method: This Study Used A Pre-Experimental Design Research Method With A Pre-Test And PostTest One Group Research Design. The Research Sample Of 18 Respondents Was Taken With Total Sampling Technique. Research Results: Based On The Results Of Statistical Tests Using The Sample Paired T-Test, The P-Value = 0.001 <0.05 Was Obtained. Abstract

Background The prevalence of successful breastfeeding coverage for postpartum mothers is still very low, namely 51% of 78 mothers during 2023 and in 2022 as many as 48% of 109 mothers, from the results of interviews many mothers complained that breast milk was not coming out, babies did not want to breastfeed and other. Based on researchers' observations, many postpartum mothers give formula milk on the grounds that breast milk does not come out or there is little breast milk. The purpose of the study was to study the effect of rolling back massage on breast milk expenditure in puerperal mothers at PMB Cisauk in 2023. This research method is a Quasy Experiment, one group pre-post design, the population in this study is all postpartum mothers who were at PMB Cisauk on 29 October-25 November 2023, totaling 20 people using total samplingwith a sample size of 20 respondents, using data namely primary data with observation, analysis using the T-Dependent Test. Research results: From the statistical test results of the dependent t test, it is known that there is an effect of rolling back massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in PMB Cisauk in 2023 with a value of P=0.000. Conclusions and Suggestions: it is hoped that health workers can provide additional information and socialize or provide counseling when carrying out postpartum visits to families and husbands about the benefits of rolling massage to the community, especially breastfeeding mothers, to increase their breast milk output so that later mothers can breastfeed exclusively.

Abstract

Background: Education via whatsapp about the importance of prenatal checks has been proven to increase pregnant women's knowledge. Through this platform, information about the benefits and importance of routine pregnancy checks can be conveyed easily by health workers and pregnant women in access to the WhatsApp application. Purpose of Writing: to find out the Effectiveness of Education Using WhatsApp About the Importance of Pregnancy Checks for Increasing Knowledge of Pregnant Women. Research Methods: Pre-experimental research with the type of one group pre test – post test design by means of a causal relationship by involving one group of subjects. the subject group was observed before the intervention was carried out and then observed after the intervention was carried out. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with a purposive method. Research Results: This study obtained the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test, which obtained a sig. (0.000) < 0.05, which means there is a difference in knowledge before and after education via whatsapp. It can be concluded that there is Effectiveness of Education with WhatsApp About the Importance of Pregnancy Checks for Increasing Knowledge of Pregnant Women in Karangsinom Village, Tirtamulya District, Karawang Regency in 2023. Conclusions and Suggestions: In providing education to pregnant women, midwives can collaborate with other health teams, in providing health education it can be added by using the WhatsApp application in the form of groups of pregnant women so that it is easy to provide health information for pregnant women in groups.
